Perfect Management System
Comments: Commusoft is an excellent tool for my business and I couldn't be without it now. Customer support are brilliant.
Pros:
Everything can be kept in one place, job specific information, reports, certificates & photos. This really helps the engineers on site when carrying out the work.
Cons:
Some time keeping features. It only logs travel when travelling to the job, not returning.

Pros:
5 stars! This software is a lifesaver! It keeps our business running smoothly. We can do everything we need in one place: invoices, scheduling, and keeping track of the engineers. Plus, the invoices look great and the reminders on invoices and PPM mean no more late payments or maintenance! Big time saver. Customer service is fantastic, always there to answer our questions quickly. Highly recommend!
Cons:
On the customers profile, I would prefer to have an option where we are able to select if the customers have a contract with us or not. If so, it would then allow us to input how long the contract period lasts. This will enable us to keep track of which clients have contracts with us and for how long.
Experience with commusoft
Comments:
When you first start you should be given more one to one help, then mistakes wouldn't happen.
Bit disappointed with the diary and other features, cant understand why I've not been set up on the new system yet which looks a lot better.
Seem to be having lots of problems with the two systems together quick books and commusoft.
Pros:
Customer data base, quick to find out what you have done at a property,
Cons:
need more training on how to use the software, now ive been using it a while, I'm sure there is plenty of bits I'm not using that I could be using

Hi Martin, we appreciate users have different roles/skills within a business, so we provide users access to our knowledge base which contains videos/guides about how to use the system. We have training programmes for 1-2-1 training, walking clients through the system and provide consultation on how to adhere to best practises when using the system. Let me know if you want more details. I've checked with the technical team regarding QB and cannot see open tickets with you on this, please email [email protected] who will be happy to help. As much as we would love to have all our clients on the new version, the process is not a simple software upgrade and much more like moving from one software to another. This means the process is longer and more complex. We¿ve already started migrating clients as part of the beta program so we can make sure we are ticking all the boxes as your data is important to us, as it is to you.
Very Simple Software Once Configured
Comments: Overall, we are very happy with Commusoft and it has enabled the company to be more efficient.
Pros:
Easy to schedule engineers daily work and move jobs when needs change
Cons:
Can be very complicated to initially set up. Also adjusting invoices and managing invoicing is not easy.
Great, All-In-One Package!
Comments: Very positive, they've always responded to our questions and issues in a timely manner. We'll be using the software for the foreseeable future.
Pros:
The fact that everything is included in one place is a massive pro, from the initial customer enquiry, to the quote, then the job, then the invoice! It means everything can be tracked very easily, which in turn means tracking KPIs is a breeze.
Cons:
There aren't many cons, one thing that would be nice is for additional works to contain a parts list.
Using Commusoft as a Property Maintenance firm.
Pros:
The ease of scheduling jobs for our engineers. The system allows our engineers to have the Commusoft app on their phones to see their diaries and fill out job updates for the team in the office to have all in one place. We can then send out job reports and invoices from the Commusoft system straight to clients.
Cons:
Storage issues arise from time to time which require us to individually go into old jobs and delete pictures/videos.
Training calls
Comments: Commusoft has made a massive difference in the daily running of the business, from booking jobs in to quotes and invoicing customers. We can now keep track on previous customers, send out service reminders, leave notes for the future, etc. Thank you to the support team for all the support and training.
Pros:
There is so much to the software to help make the daily running of the business more efficient. The training calls were great, on everyone I learned so much more about what it could do and how to make it better for us as a company. Support team gave us so much support on every call and helped us critique the system to improve it for our business. Would definitely recommend the training calls and the system.
Cons:
There is so much to the system it is difficult to know everything, but thats why it is so important to have the Training calls.
User freindly software

very easy to use and simple to set up to get started with ease

that you cannot mass delete old data from system in bulk or for a time period caused storage issues

Comments: Brilliant, love it
Pros:
Very easy to use, store all the info a business like ours could need, integrates with Xero and Stripe which save us lots of time, no need for any paperwork, could not live without it.
Cons:
Only minor annoyances.... Doesn't seem to work well on mac (home computer) not sure if this is my computer though or if I'm doing something wrong but it has lots of buttons missing and only half a screen etc... the engineers complain about the app sometimes, the diary being on the complete wrong day, I have noticed its a lot better since it has been updated. It takes 4 clicks to print 1 invoice! You cant amend service sheets from the office, I understand why but its very annoying when they have done one mistake like not clicked rented. You cant see feedback on the diary when you hover over each job, you have to type in every job number into another tab as when you click view job from the diary you loose your dairy day so have to keep going clicking back to the diary, please let us see feedback from the diary when you hover over the event. This is one of my biggest hates about commusoft, when you open the side bar eg view diary event from the job page, if you want to close that side panel this comes up, and you have to click this to close it, really hate this. Are you sure you want to close side panel? Yes No, it would be so much better it you could just click off it like you can when you open a service cert, you can view it then click the main page and it just closes (emails do it as well, really annoying)
The best CRM for plumbing and heating engineers
Comments: I have used Commusoft for 8 years. Very few problems. Their support ticket system works very well. Our customers are impressed with the detailed job reports, record keeping, invoices, service reminders and automated communications. I am not the most organised person so without this I would be lost. We have records of every visit, quote, invoice and part fitted for every customer over the last 8 years. It takes time to use but it’s worth it.
Pros:
Detail of record keeping such as appliance, stop cock and gas meter location. Integrates with Xero very well for invoices, debtors etc. Detailed reporting for sales, profit and engineer performance. Sending service reminders and booking confirmations by SMS or email. Let’s customer know when the engineer is on their way. Uploading images and files to the job. Adding and saving parts to the job. Digital safety certificates, service/commissioning records, job reports, invoices and statements. Engineer job questions when they arrive or leave. For example “what parts did you use, have you put a sticker on the boiler”.
Cons:
It is not the quickest to use but it is continually improved so I am sure they will make it more efficient to use.
Fantastic Software! Amazing Support!
Comments: Our experience with Commusoft has been first class in all aspects including the informative and comprehensive documents provided to help with the migration to the new version and the brilliant software. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Commusoft to anyone looking for a fantastic, easy to use system with plenty of functionality!
Pros:
We have recently upgraded to the most recent version of Commusoft and absolutely love it! The software is very user friendly for both office staff and engineers. There is a lot more functionality within the new version which makes everything much easier and quicker. We were a bit apprehensive about making the leap to the new version however the support we have received in both the pre and post migration calls and the training calls has been absolutely fantastic and we couldn't have wished for more!
Cons:
There is nothing about the new version of commusoft that we don't like and we can't wait to keep discovering all the new features and learning how to get the best from the software (all of which is provided by the amazing support team).

We've been using Commusoft for a number of years now and have also found the team to be very helpful and knowledgeable.
The system is great, it helps reduce admin time and keeps the job statuses up to date.
Pros:
It's portable so you can see what's going on from anywhere with internet. You can capture a lot of information about jobs. Ease of use when booking jobs
Cons:
We sometimes find the job locations on the map are way out and as we work a lot in the countryside the mobiles don't always sync straight away.
Commusoft has revolutionise the way we work
Comments: Reduced admin time with diary management and invoicing
Pros:
We've been using Commusoft since December 2019 and with 6 engineers out on different jobs it has streamlined office time spent in diary management and invoicing not to mention the history building on each property of all the jobs carried out and appliances in situ. No more handwritten and lost certificates everything is all stored in one place. It integrates really well with Xero accounting system. The training and set up support made the transition at our busiest time of year really easy. It's well work every penny we pay for it.
Cons:
Some parts require too many click steps to carry a task - i.e. sending an invoice

Excellent Customer Management Tool
Pros:
Although Commusoft has been used by our company for a few years, I have only used it in the last 4 months. I find the software very intuitive. If I struggle to find out if something can or can't be done my first point of contact is the help section. This is great as you often come across things that you hadn't thought about yet and implement to improve / streamline your company's processes. If the help section doesn't give me what I need the Commusoft team are only ever an email away. Their response times are usually within a couple of hours. If you have a bespoke request they are more than happy to work with you to implement this. Would highly recommend this package to anyone in this line of business.
Cons:
I haven't worked with it long enough to come across anything I don't like about the software yet.
Commusoft helped us save time spent doing admin work, helped us manage our customers better.
Pros:
Working with Commusoft has been a great experience from the start. The training has been fantastic and made sure we knew what we were doing. When they upgraded us to their new system although it was very different they made sure we were trained again on all the changes. The new version is a massive upgrade, so we are very happy with that. We use most of the features everyday - setting up customers, sending service reminders, invoicing and filling in certs. We just started using the MailChimp integration which means we can send marketing emails to all our customers, which is really improving our customer service
Cons:
There is so many features that it can be a bit overwhelming, but having the support available an email away means we can always get help.
Commusoft is great
Comments: In my opinion, this specific product is good user friendly. you do have to take time and invest in trying to understand the methods and process is that already exists within the software and have a clear understanding with regards to how you would like the software to operate with those two things in mind you can approach their customer support team that can talk you through implementations.
Pros:
What I liked was the ability to be able to repurpose already set up systems that can be utilised in my specific way for my business.
Cons:
As with all software, there are some limitations that exist within the software I have also used to competitors software over the years and I have found commusoft to be the best value for money and the better product
Never looked back
Comments: Back in 2014 I had a real issue convincing my business partner to leave his old fashioned paper diary behind and now 5 years later I cant believe there are still people not using Commusoft (although speaking to other Engineers on training courses I would estimate 1 in 4 use Commusoft now).
Pros:
So meany features that makes life so easy - really love the online booking feature and online payment system makes life so much easier
Cons:
So much to learn - unless you want to pay for training be prepared it can take months if not years to fully appreciated and utilise all of the features in Commusoft
Commusoft v3 to v4 migration
Comments: Commusoft is at the core of our business - the diary is at the heart of every job, every day.
Pros:
Much-improved features and design compared to v3
Cons:
Difficult to say, as still getting used to it - finding it hard to navigate exactly where I want to go and see exactly the information I want to see, but this may be largely down to needing more time on it.

Great software improving all the time
Comments: reduce time in office, keeps business jobs and finances in order
Pros:
i like the professionalism of the software and how you can tailor it to your needs on most aspects, the fact it takes saves me in the office lots of time doing emails and reminders keeping my business running smoothly
Cons:
i find some of the certs are a wee bit overcomplicated at times and the software does take a while to navigate around at times however i would state i have never really had the time to get to know this system 100% of the facilities it can offer and i would think i only use it to 60% of its full capacity
Migration from V3 to V4
Comments:
I've barely touched the surface with version 4, it is much more complex than version 3, though not in a bad way. I'm looking forward to creating full supplier and parts lists, to make things more straight forward for my engineers. Once you get the hang of it, it really does streamline your business. The support from the team at Commusoft is second to none. They are extremely friendly, knowledgeable and can work with very vague descriptions of issues from people like me, who isn't sure of the correct terminology for the software.
If you're wondering whether you're brave enough to take the leap to version 4, do it!
Pros:
There are so many great new features. The widgets make things easy to find. The Company and Software settings are set out clearly and again, are easy to use. The Help section has advice for anything you may have an issue with. Its very transparent, I find it easy to navigate and I'm not a very tech savvy person.
Cons:
I am disappointed that the ability to merge and change customer types has been taken away. However there are alternative routes to make this less of an issue.

Pros:
-Easy to find new features -Always new updates and features being added -No jobs can get missed - has a way of catching everything
Cons:
-Trackers need to be improved - need to have features that RAM tracking use as this would greatly improve the service -Sometimes we have issues with data not going over to our accounting package but the support team always get this resolved quick

With regards to our van tracking feature, this was designed to be a lightweight and affordable tracking tool that works in tandem to our core job management software. We have recently released improved driver trip reports for this and a couple of other additions. Small business game changer
Pros:
We have used Commusoft for over 10 years now and it has changed the way we work. Job records for all our clients helps our engineers with technical history when they are on site; helps the office team manage estimating, invoicing and reporting; which ultimately benefits our clients.
Cons:
It doesn't always do what you need it to do but you have a direct route to raise issues and requests for software changes but they do not always happen quickly.

Comments: Although we had a few teething problems after changeover from v3 to v4 support were very quick and helpful with advice and instructions. I would recommend commusoft, especially to small businesses which are just starting out as it is not too overwhelming.
