Kudos are a game changer for a healthier work culture

Comments: I've been a kudos reciever and giver during the last year and a half, and it's a nice way to feel appreciated by your team, to help them feel special because of the connection that Home office lacks. Putting those feelings into words and turning it into a kind of social stream that's commentable and with the ability to add reactions from slack is a very good add-on to everyday work life

Pros:

Giving Kudos help us encourage a culture of recognition in all our collaborators, we have a Feedback Friday instituted, to help everyone recognize a specific type of kudo to their peers

Cons:

It doesn't have a lot of options, kudos is a very simple functionality, maybe adding diversity on additional stuff apart from the kudos types, that only change color and an icon, it could help

Nice tool to have

Comments: It was great and I would highly recommend it.

Pros:

It helps recognize the work of the individuals and the rewarding features are also great!!

Cons:

It should add automatic stickers when we choose the subject of the message. It would be great to have. I don't like it when I have to choose the funny images.

Not worth it to a small business

Pros:

It was good for a few weeks then the newness wore off

Doesn't keep the employees attention. Too plain

Pros:

ANALITICS REPORTS were one of my favorite things, also earning prices was great.

Cons:

NOTHING IT WAS AWESOME, it might be a little confusing sometimes but once I get use to it.

Fantastic Addition to Teams

Comments: It has been very good. Our employees love being able to chat and give kudos. It has really brought our team together.

Pros:

The social aspect that brings our teams together across 3 locations.

Cons:

I can't think of anything. The platform runs smoothly and we like how it integrates with Teams.

Great engagement tool

Comments: Really straight forward to onboard and integrate within the company, we were provided materials to circulate, and the install was a simple add in on Teams.

Pros:

Matter has really made a positive impact on morale within the company, it has increased engagement and recognition. There are a wide variety of rewards to choose from to suit everyone's tastes

Cons:

Just that we didn't implement it sooner!

It really Matters!

Comments: Very easy to use and straight forward system. Even cashing in your coins for vouchers is extremely easy.

Pros:

It's a great way to give credit to your colleagues for a great job well done. This is also seen by everyone in the company, which usually isn't the case.

Cons:

The only potential drawback is that each week you can run out of coins, leaving some people feeling underappreciated. This could just be an individual company setting though.

Matter Matters

Comments: Overall, it is a great product. Our company really appreciate how Matter will remind you how that is Friday and will count down the hours before it is over. Also, we love the gifs!

Pros:

I like that we are able to give kudos to coworkers.

Cons:

Not being able to change certain things.

Matter of Fun

Comments: It's fun for Feedback Friday. I like celebrating birthdays and work anniversaries, too. Creating my kudos is also a nice feature.

Pros:

It's easy to use and create original kudos.

Cons:

Nothing to dislike about a morale booster app.

Most Simple and User-Friendly Tool for Employee Engagement

Comments: Very positive - everyone in the company loves how simple it is to use. It definitely has increased engagements and the graphics are so fun to use! (We integrated matter to slack, so the slack channel is full of positive energy which definitely raises everyone's morale at work)

Pros:

Very easy to use and graphics are endearing. Clean and user-friendly interface also is a big plus to encourage people to actually use the software!

Cons:

I can't really think of any really, perhaps the lack of font options?

MATTER AND ORANGE

Pros:

Since the company works with everyone remote, Matter has been a really important tool for us to get everyone closer, recognize their value and their good work every day or week. It also makes us socialize more than if we didnt have it.

Cons:

I think there is anything that I dont like, I even love the gifs they use to invite us to join kudos or so.

Feedback from Matter User

Comments: I've personally had a great experience. I love that we receive reminders in the beginning and end of day to give kudos. We can all become very busy at work and have the intent to send recognition but can easily forget throughout the day, so receiving a cool reminder (they're super funny) is great .

Pros:

Great for company morale. Recognizing our team regardless of title is very important, no one is exempt from receiving kudos.

Cons:

I have not encountered any cons using Matter.

Pros:

I have been using Matter for over a year. We encourage all employees to leave employee recognition posts every Friday. It is an enjoyable thing that we all look forward to.

Cons:

It has been very smooth. I like all of the options that it has to redeem the coins for, especially the Amazon gift card.

Great for team feedback

Pros:

Great to manifest publicly what the team or individuals accomplished. Usually, teams are not aware of what other teams do, so this is great.

Cons:

The web dashboard is not super intuitive and very few users use it.

Matter is a great bit of kit for team recognition

Comments: Amazing - we love using Matter and people like receiving them

Pros:

We love that we can send recognition about an individual or group of people that everyone can see. Receiving a matter is always a lifting moment of the day.

Cons:

The weekly MVP always feels broken - we can't work it out!

Show Your Colleagues Your Appreciation!

Pros:

This platform allows us to show our appreciation to our co-worker and management staff for all the little things they do to help us do our jobs brilliantly!

Cons:

Sometimes the reminders are too much, when you're having a hectic day and don't have time to stop and read them! Other than that, I find it useful!

Recognition

Pros:

It improves moral to give coins to coworkers

Cons:

There should be more options for ecards to redeem

Peer - Peer Recognition

Pros:

This tool is very god for giving out peer to peer recognition, and also reminding you weekly to give recognition to those who deserve it.

Cons:

Not too sure, there are a lot of features that we don't use.

Nothing but good things to say

Pros:

A lot of companies don't do a good job of highlighting the accomplishments and hard work of its individuals. Matter makes doing so easy. The weekly recognition between peers and higher-ups is fast and fun, while giving people the validation they deserve.

Cons:

Nope, I truly have nothing negative to say about my experience.

I love the opportunity and the reminder to praise my teammates for their good work every week. It is a great opportunity to think about what folks are doing well in a world that so often focuses on what is not going well.

Sometimes I feel like I have to provide praise that isn't warranted.

Wonderful Program-Easy to use

Comments: I think this is a wonderful program. I have never used something like this but it is great.

Pros:

I love that it helps support the team and helps everyone be team players

Cons:

I like the entire thing. There is not much that I do not like.

Good but do not redeem virtual prepaid cards.

Comments: Not good since my points are lost due to the vendor scamming me.

Pros:

How easy it is to thank people and how easy it is to redeem.

Cons:

The selection of vendors to redeem the points. The visa/mastercard virtual suppliers are scammers. The card will not work with any vendor (i have tried over 20 local and international and they refuse to do anything about it). Please check who matter associates with.
