About Venmo
Mobile-based social commerce platform that enables users to carry out money transmission across all types of purchases.
I like the ease and rapidity with which Venmo makes it possible to send and receive money, especially for business purposes.
Also, there really are no payment protections, so if you send money to the wrong person (which sometimes through no fault of your own), you can be "up a creek" (so to speak).

An Easy Payment System for the Entrepreneur
Comments: Overall, the experience has been good. When faced with issues, customer service is kind, but you have to be patient. The tickets go into a queue and you have to wait patiently for an email answer, which can go to your junk mail.
Pros:
Venmo is fast and easy to set up. Within a few minutes you can start taking payment for services and products sold. You can get paid in several different ways and even if the person doesn't have their card available.
Cons:
If you close down an account and open a new one, it is difficult to link accounts and get the debit card to work. You cannot have multiple business accounts attached to your personal account. If you change the name of the business it can be difficult to change over.
Venmo over anything!
Comments: My overall experience with Venmo is amazing. I use the platform every day and find the feed to be a plus! I like the activity tab because it keeps track of every transaction. A+ for me!
Pros:
Venmo has always been there when I need a fast payment, The fees are minimal, and processing times are always fast. Venmo will keep being in my everyday use.
Cons:
The least thing I like about Venmo is that it pairs with Paypal so it will clash with Paypal at times with processing.
Past Daily Venmo Review
Comments: In the past, I used Venmo daily for small transfers.
Pros:
I like that you are able to transfer money between people and I like that they offer a debit card.
Cons:
I have had issues with fraud and security.
Alternatives Considered:
A convenient way to take and send payments to friends or for business!
Comments: I think they are super easy to use. Set up is easy. Entering payment methods is also quite easy. I haven't had an issue with any part of using venmo, it's come in handy many times.
Pros:
It is easy to set up and manage payment options. It's also easy to switch between business and personal profiles. Searching for contacts to pay or send money to is also quite easy.
Cons:
The only thing I would change is no fee for instant transfers, however I can totally understand why they have a fee. I use a bank account where there is no fee to transfer and it usually deposits within 24 hours so it's not a long process. I find it kind of strange that I can see my friends payments though. Not a problem, just kind of strange.
One of the best payment processing apps for small business
Pros:
Venmo is the easiest payment processing app that I have ever used
Cons:
The fees can get pretty substantial on business transactions that run higher
Venmo Accepted!
Comments: Venmo has made my day to day operations much more efficient thanks to easy payment options and great transaction history record keeping. I use it often and with people using cash less and less, this makes transitioning to credit card and alternative payments much easier.
Pros:
Venmo makes taking payment for my small business a breeze! You can even set up tap to pay for credit card payments and other forms of tap to pay. The transfers usually go through in 1-2 business days to my bank account. I enjoy this tool very much for taking payments!
Cons:
I do not necessarily like having to pay credit card processing fees.
Does exactly what it needs to
Pros:
Making payments to just about anyone is easy to set up and manage. The new groups feature is nice (kind of like splitwise) where you can add all of the charges from each person in the group and it'll calculate the correct amount from each person in just 1 charge.
Cons:
I think it'd be nice to have the option to show the charges breakdown for the final group charge just for peace of mind. Right now you just have to assume that venmo calculated it correctly. Also the ads get annoying - I don't want a venmo credit card.
A Great Instant Payment System
Comments: Overall good! No missing money and good records
Pros:
Leaving public comments and seeing them from friends and colleagues
Cons:
The transfer process is long unless you use additional services
Venmo Review
Pros:
The ease of being able to use Venmo as a payment option for online retail, as well as for payment to family and friends.
Cons:
I wish it didn't take up to 3 days to transfer my balance to a bank account, and I wish I could use my credit card as payment without the fee.
Easy to use and convenient
Pros:
I love the ease with which I can connect my bank account and send payments. It is easy to navigate friends and send and receive payment.
Cons:
I dislike that there is a transaction fee when sending payments from a credit card. I also am a bit put off by the default being a public account which shows transaction history.

Yo Ho Venmo
Comments: The leader in digital, mobile and, in my opinion, small business cash handling. I’ve never had an issue with my account and when prompted to verify my information for securities sake I’ve been nothing but reassured my finances are in good hands.
Pros:
Incredibly easy to learn and use with the most user friendly interface I’ve encountered to date. Venmo’s digital security and handling of my private information has always been secure and any changes to my account made by myself or otherwise are reported to my cell phone and email immediately.
Cons:
Some forms of online debit cards are categorized as ‘pre-paid’ when they are in fact just debit cards issued from a strictly digital/online institution. These specific types of cards are therefore deemed unable to be used via connecting to your account.
Venmo is not a Bank
Comments: My overall experience with Venmo good except for moving bunny from my checking to Venmo that I will never do again overall when I’m working up pop-up and people are paying me and I’m using my Venmo that’s wonderful.
Pros:
QR code for scanning made it much easier for funds to be transferred specially when you’re at a busy pop-up.
Cons:
I found out the hard way depositing $300 did not get cleared from my own bank Working days. Which strap me for cash for three days. And Venmo was no help on getting the money cleared..

Cons:
Wehn needing to deposit money instantly there is a fee along with it.
An easy way to get paid
Comments: Venmo is an easy way for customers and clients to pay me without having to involve a card reader. It’s another option for clients to tip as well, without having to have cash on them, meaning I can get the full amount of the tip.
Pros:
I like that you can easily provide your personal QR code for customers to link to and pay you.
Cons:
I wish there was a free feature for businesses to add money to their Venmo accounts without having to sign up for the credit card.

Venmo, quick payments

I honestly dont have anything i dont like about venmo. They truly are amazing.
Venmo Makes It Easy!
Comments: Overall, I love Venmo and don't know where the world would be without it.
Pros:
I enjoy Venmo because it is a simple and seamless process to send money to friends and family.
Cons:
There are times when people can get scammed, but it is a user's job to stay diligent.
Must use app for anyone with a smartphone

Pros:
Very easy to transfer money without hassle or special thought
Cons:
I wish sometimes it was clearer with the transfer interface but it worked well

Try it out
Comments: My overall experience with venmo is great!
Pros:
How easy it is to send money to friends and family and how fast it goes through. So if friends or family really need some cash for maybe gas or let's say you need money, venmo is the quickest way to send and receive.
Cons:
I recently did try to log back into my account because I forgot to change my phone number,
Easy, Convinient Payments
Comments: I use venmo to easily pay others when card or cash is not available/accepted. I am able to leave a note, track previous payments, and make a payment private/public. I feel that Venmo is safe, convenient, and has developed a new way for people to pay.
Pros:
I like the feed where I can see others who have paid me/others close to me. I like the option to have an immediate payout. I like the safety feature to confirm the final digits of a phone number. I like the ability to have a profile picture for others and myself to confirm who we are paying.
Cons:
I would like to be able to first be able to confirm/accept payments from others. I would also like to be able to transfer venmo payments in my venmo account to others via payment, rather than having to transfer it to my bank account before paying.
Venmo Reviews
Comments: Overall this is a good app to save money or use as a checking account, I love getting my direct deposit a few days earlier and I love the user friendly features & functionalities it has as well
Pros:
I love that it’s super easy to use from the app, it’s not complicated at all, I love how my direct deposit shows up 2 days earlier in my account, I can send, receive & process payments efficiently
Cons:
I hate that sometimes when I add money to the account from another, it doesn’t populate instantly, and I wish there was a virtual option to use the card or view the card details other than that it’s great
Venmo, like PayPal but not as good
Comments: . Well we're all experience with venmo has been decent but it could do better.
Pros:
What I like most about venmo or it's similarities to PayPal.
Cons:
What what I like least about venmo is the ability to obtain a debit card it's a little time-consuming and a lot of hopes to jump through
Optimis Corp Review
Comments: My overall experience has been amazing as it takes little to no time to make payments as well as collect them. It's also extremely safe for us to use!
Pros:
What I like most is how efficient and easy it is for patients to make online payments right from their phone as well as automatic payments.
Cons:
There is nothing I have found that I do not like. We use it everyday as part of our tasks!
Rancho Physical Therapy
Comments: I love using Venmo and will always use it weekly for anything
Pros:
I love how easy and fast it is to transfer money over to someone else or if someone gives me money and I can transfer within seconds to my bank account. When working at my other job my coworkers and I would always door dash and were constantly Venmoing each other back and forth, but it was always so fast and easy
Cons:
There is only one thing I don't like about Venmo and it would be the fee it has, if I need or want to do an instant transfer
Venmo Review

Cons:
There is always privacy concerns but haven't had an issue so far

Venmo for Businesst
Pros:
It is a very robust platform with easy-to-use features for payees. The site accepts most major forms of payments and transfers money quickly for POS and CC payments.
Cons:
The accounting page could use some work with additional features to export data to cashflow management software
