Intermedia Unite is an award-winning business cloud communications and collaboration platform, designed to keep employees connected.
The customer service is very helpful. We have found this online phone system a major upgrade from our last provider.
Sometimes while programming it kicks me out for no reason. But this issue is being addressed.

Easy to use, great support team

Hosted vs Legacy PBX
Comments: Overall experience good with all aspects of features on phones.
Pros:
Most PBX features also available on Unite. The integration with desktop app and mobile app is convenient when roaming around office or remote work.
Cons:
BLF options are all (ring/no ring) for all buttons. Can't select specific BLF buttons for different ring/no ring.Making changes can be either over web page for Unite or direct to Yealink phone. Confusing on where to make programming changes
Alternatives Considered:
Low quality phone provider. Only useful for low volume calling
Comments: It was easy to purchase, easy to install, deploy, and start to use. However, after having several users doing a calling activity at the same time, the connections starts to fail
Pros:
It is easy to use as any other phone provider, it has a good interface and a good reporting system.
Cons:
It's server is weak, the connection will keep rebooting, which will eventually affect the operation if it is a large-volume one

Intermedia is excellent to work with in a timely fashion and you get the biggest bang for your buck.

Hopefully software continually improves (the dictation written)
Easy To Use Efficient Systems For Busy People
Comments: I have to travel to multiple offices and the flexibility of the services to al most be in two places at once. It has really taken a lot worry out of servicing existing clients while travelling.
Pros:
I like the fact that I can be in several different locations and have real access to clients. As well, I can access my messages in either voice or transcriptions over any device.
Cons:
I really can't think of anything I don't like about the service.
Robust Offering
Comments: I am quite satisfied with the solution, pricing and the support that we have received over the past 5 years.
Pros:
The functionality has been extremely stable over the past 5 years.
Cons:
We don't have the ability of visually seeing how many callers are parked.

I would like an easier way to set a ring tone that helped differentiate between an intercom call and an outside caller
Software does all you need and so much more!
Comments: The software is great and the customer service & support offered by Intermedia is second to none. They have real people with real knowledge available within moments of calling to walk you through any issue you might have. It is a pleasure working with them.
Pros:
I love being able to have voice mails transcribed and sent to my email, I never miss a name or digit in a phone number. The website is fairly easy to use to customize everything from the greeting to our billing. It's almost TOO much for our purposes, but the price is fantastic for the services, so I would recommend to anyone!
Cons:
There are quite a lot of features, almost too many for my purposes. It's easy to be slightly overwhelmed at customizing the software for your specific business.
We love Intermedia Unite
Pros:
Integration was pretty seamless compared to our last VoIP system. I like that there is an app and calls/messages can be managed from my desktop. The Yealink phones are fantastic and easy to use as well as looking nice in our office. I also like the Admin panel for accessing our account, there are many updates and features that can be done without having to contact customer support.
Cons:
The only minor issue we have is setting up voicemails for specific events. Establishing the event is easy and straightforward however we have to contact customer support each time in order to attach the voicemail recording. If we could record it each time from the office phone that would be great, it would really save time.
Product Quality
Comments: Customer service is Excellent. We can use it on multiple devices, which facilitates remote work. We have access to voicemail transcripts and audio.
Pros:
The features and functionality of the unit and system meet our needs. We had computer access to the system during covid and transitioning to a new location. DataTele customer service agent Bill helped us navigate the process. When we moved to our new location, we could add new units along with our existing ones. The mobile configuration also helps with remote access.
Cons:
We had a cheat sheet to help with the feature setup, and the online setup gives you a step-by-step process to complete different features. The Agent is just an email away and a phone call if necessary.
Best Tech Team on the net.
Comments: Very good experience with Intermedia Unite. They can give any size office the best product and support and that has helped our office greatly. I have the best software and techs out there for our office!
Pros:
I buy software for our office based on the tech team that I talk with. If the tech team is willing to talk to me and answer my questions, then I know that the whole team wants our business. The sales teams are great but the tech team is what sales the product to me. After I purchase a product or service than I work with the tech team to make sure all is running smooth. The tech here at Intermedia Unite is the best that I have worked with and that means I can get a lot of work accomplished because I have a very good support software and team. Well worth having on my team. Best phone software out there!

The company does not have any problems with our office and we would highly recommend them to other businesses as well.

Comments: I am so pleased. Everyone in the office appreciates the functionality of the product, especially now that we are 'remoting' more and more. The ability to video conference on the fly is a lifesaver for our team; we can get our work done -- but stay 'connected' a bit more than just a traditional phone.
Pros:
The best thing for us was implementing this just before the pandemic hit. We needed better unified communications and hosted phones for our team. The Intermedia onramp team was awesome, we had a single rep guiding us along -- which helped the consistency of the process. The setup was easier than we expected, the software easy to use once setup properly -- and it saves us $$$ every month.
Cons:
The support, although seldom required -- can be a bit slow. Granted -- when you have trouble with your phones you want immediate help. The key, however -- is that when help is reached -- they seem to get us fixed-up in a jiffy.
Intermedia Unite switch over
Comments: Solved all of our remote working issues. HAve phones when the internet is down via cell tower.

THis is tough there is not mucc we didnt like about the software. Would like morefunctionaly in the soft phone. Transfer buttons, voicemail.

The app is very helpful. I like how I can answer and make calls as if I am in the office.

Better phones.. mine are outdated. I would like the option of headsets also.

Best Cloud Solution
Comments: In this day in age customer want to have the flexibility to do business wherever they go and not feel any form of limitation from being a way from the "office". Intermedia solves that problem with the apps and additional features.
Pros:
the most impactful features have been the video conferencing, SMS messaging on chat, mobile App and being able to transfer a call from my desk phone to mobile app. The installation is super easy, and the quality of service has been great.
Cons:

Intermedia Unite with VoIP service is superb
Comments: Unite has enabled our team to stay in touch and fully functional even when we have to operate remotely - no small feat for a tiny firm. From our initial outreach to Intermedia to setup and installation it was obvious staff at Intermedia know their product and were able to walk me through even the most complex task quickly and easily. Response to trouble tickets is quick if they can't solve an issue directly over the phone.
Pros:
The software is flexible and easy to use but also powerful. It is easy to navigate and features are self-explanatory.
Cons:
It can be a little obtrusive at times - would be nice if it had a quick "silence" or "sleep" mode - maybe located in the window title bar to prevent the app from interrupting calls or covering other windows.

Pros:
Month to Month contracting was a huge selling point although once you start using both Unite and the other Intermedia business tools you will never want to switch. I have been using SecuriSync, MS Exchange and MS Office from Intermedia for years and I don't see that changing.
Cons:
Sometimes its hard to get the right person on the Support line but that's a problem with any service provider. other than that I cant think of anything I don't like.
Intermedia Review
Comments: Since initial set up, we have had a great experience with UNITE. We use it for our office phone and fax.
Pros:
Being able to download the Intermedia ap and use my mobile phone when out of the office to answer business calls has been a great feature.
Cons:
The costumer service was great when we originally set up the account. However, setting up the voicemail for our office was difficult and took longer than I felt it should.
Make it official
Comments: We are solving the issues or backup, data retention, data availability and a host of issues with archiving and medical industry security that is very important to our customers.
Pros:
Since joining up with Intermedia, our product suite has multiplied as a result of the cloud services that are available to us. Our management tools for customers are first rate and we have the potential to continue growing based solely on the products and services provided by Intermedia. I believe this is the way for small MSPs to continue to provide services and partner with giant in cloud, data and communications expertise in the cloud. You cannot go wrong here.

We do not have any cons at this time as the software has been one of the best for what we need.

I selected architectural / engineering because I could not complete the survey until I made a selection. This selection was because our work typically includes some of this category, but certainly not all.

I have no "cons' and really find irrating that I can't take this survey unless I type something in your box. How about having an selection such as "N/A."??
