A great solution in a complex area

5.0 2 years ago

Comments: We wanted to implement a SAYE program across multiple countries working with lots of different currencies. The software works very well but the support we obtained from the implementation team was absolutely first class. We had a dedicated team who had a weekly with us as we went through implementation and also supported us with communication materials for employees.

Pros:

We initially engaged with an alternate supplier and quickly switched to Global Shares. We have employees in eight countries participating in an SAYE scheme and we needed a solution that would work in all those territories for both the employees and the teams that support SAYE. Global Shares was implemented quickly and smoothly and is an intuitive piece of software that people find easy to use.

Cons:

I cant think immediately of any areas that need improvement

Global shares - Brilliant to work with

5.0 2 years ago

Comments: We have worked closely with our reconciliation process and now maintain this regularly. The communication has also improved massively in the last 2-3 years in particular.

Pros:

Global shares are very efficient with our quarterly reconciliations and reporting and we have worked on making the iportal user friendly and available to all scheme participants which has proved popular.

Cons:

TR 2007 SIP values are hard to calculate, therefore the value given by Global Shares is only an estimate. I dont know if this can be worked on at all in the future.

Global Shares - a good platform which helps to access and manage LTI plan(s).

5.0 2 years ago

Comments: I am a user in a way that I manage my own LTI plans, but I am also responsible to manage LTI plans and grants etc. from other colleagues. Global Shares fits best.

Pros:

The "Look & Feel" - very good and the Global Shares team supports whenever needed.

Cons:

Nothing really in particular to mention.

Best Implementation

4.0 2 years ago

Comments: We have eliminated the need to account for equity grants manually. This has saved many hours when new grants are awarded and options are exercised. No more individually written and signed award agreements.

Pros:

I have participated in numerous software implementations. This was the most well managed and seamless implementation. The project team was top notch. This software has replaced most of our manual spreadsheet based processes.

Cons:

I would like for the funding of the stock option exercises to happen through the software. Currently payment needs to be arranged manually.
