Razorpay is the only Indian alternative to Stripe

Comments: Overall, my experience with Razorpay has been mostly positive. The platform is easy to use and offers a wide range of payment options, including credit card, debit card, and various digital wallets.

Pros:

- One of the things I really appreciate about Razorpay is its user-friendly interface. - The dashboard is well-organized and allows you to easily track transactions and manage your account.- Additionally, the company offers excellent customer support, with knowledgeable and helpful staff available to assist with any issues or questions you may have.-Another thing I like about it is its security measures. The platform uses advanced technology to ensure that all transactions are secure and encrypted, which gives me peace of mind as a user.

Cons:

- Limited international presence: Razorpay is primarily focused on the Indian market, so it is not the best option for businesses with international customers or clients. They did not approve me the first time I applied.- Fees can add up, especially when we start having high volume transactions.- Integration challenges: depending on your business and the platform you use, integrating Razorpay may require some technical know-how or the assistance of a developer, we needed one for Wordpress.- Limited payment options: while Razorpay offers a range of payment options, it does not support certain types of payments or certain countries, AMEX particularly has issues.

Best Payment Gateway For SMEs

Comments: My overall experience is good. My all payments are instant. It automatically authorise the transaction and inform you over notification channels. But as per my previous experience support system needs more improvement. For a issue I started live chat but at last the agent raised a ticket and said that relevant team will respond to the issue where the issue was not such big. Later the support agent who replied to ticket couldn't resolve my issue. They have little bugs which they are not able to solve after a long time of business. With a huge payment methods and easy to use gateway Razorpay is the best.

Pros:

After KYC update you can receive all your payments on your bank account. It has free plan where it charges 2% fee of payments received through this payment gateway. With Razorpay you can create payment link, pages easily and can share them with your users. You can customise the payment methods you want to provide to your customers. You can also create invoices here through which you can receive payment directly through these invoices from your customers. It has all-in-one dashboard where you can manage all the links, pages, customers, transactions, reports, members and many more. On every transaction you can customise the notification as email and sms. This is the best for small businesses to grow more. With Razorpay you can provide various payment methods like UPI, Debit or credit card, Net banking, Pay Later, etc to your users. Payments are instant and secure with Razorpay. Setup and website integration is super easy and instant also. Support system is good. You can chat with live agents to solve your issues.

Cons:

When it comes to 2% charges, I think this is little bit high for a small business. Apart from that if you need to get money settled to your bank account instantly then you have to pay little more extra charges which is nill in Paytm case.

Razorpay is Highly Arogant, Zero Customer Support, No Escalation Mechanism

Comments: Highly unethical company with no integrity

1. No Customer Support - No direct Customer Care Number, Email or any other mechanism to contact them 2. Many times the Help & Support page keeps you move in a never ending loop. 3. No response from the customer support team even after multiple remindres 4. Tickets are raised and closed autometically, without giving an intimation of what has happened to the ticket. They simply say it's resolved 5. No Escalation Matrix. You keep writing to the nodal officer, nothing happens 6. I checked with other startups within my incubators and other forums, all are frustrated with their service 7. They make it easy to subscribe to services and almost impossible to stop the subscription

Best online payment solution for businesses/startups

Pros:

The best thing about Razorpay is it allows many useful features and the commission fee is very low.

Cons:

Razorpay should also offer to create a solution to create a simple e-commerce store like Instamojo.

Razorpay is the future of payment gateway

Comments: recipe payment gateway help us a lot with collecting a payments from different lines events from even domestic and international clients will face in English show there is a life that option and the customer care executive clear our doubt in minutes. also the charges of this payment gateway are very lower compared to any other way payment gateways.

Pros:

Razorpay is the most easiest and modern way to collect payments from clients and people because it includes each and every types of payment mode such as UPI , debit card, credit card, bank transfer, cheque transfer etc. We can create smart pages which looks very professional and really smart. Payment settled easily and in a hassle free manner. Also the integration is very easy to set up with our website and applications. Highly recommended.

Cons:

Using it for years but didn't have any issues with this payment gateway but I will recommend to make the Android app more user-friendly.

Razorpay is not attending my complaints

Comments: I am really disappointed and feel cheated.

Pros:

This is a serious complaint against Razorpay.

Cons:

RazorPay has not attended to my complaints. In the last 3 months, have raised 8 requests for change of my billing plan, have called multiple times but my plan has not been changed so far. Request No [sensitive content hidden].

Horrid experience. The most horrible company

Comments: Horrible. Won't recommend them. They don't respond, when yiu finally get to them they say they opened a customer service ticket but don't. Nothing shows up. Never helpful in any way

Pros:

The software is ok. Charges are high but it's relatively ok to use.

Cons:

No customer support. Select accounts are given chat options and is disabled as soon as you chat with them more than 2-3 times.

Best for software for payments processing

Comments: The overall experience with Razorpay is fine ok but improveing some of the features like cashback or rewards and decreaseing charges it would be better

The experience with the Razorpay is easy payment processing and billing payments for the needs and it is very secure fast payment processing and easy to tarnsfer to any bank accounts

Cons:

Razorpay it charges too when compared to other payment apps and it some times Daley payment processing and it takes commesions for every payments and delay response from the customers

Very bad experiance with razorpay

Comments: i had very bad experience . when i call support , i didn't get a satisfactory answer .every time given same reason and when my concern raised to seniors but they also don't have any importance of our query . one of the worst service ever received . My ticket id is .9635033

I have been facing payment transaction failure and have raised the ticket and have been asking continuously to get connected to technical team but instead of connecting me they closed the ticket. Pathetic service.

Great Payment Gateway Solution for Online Business

Comments: I have been using Razorpay for my Horticulture business since 2017 to accept online payments from my clients and since then I have never faced any problem. All my clients have made payments without complaining about my payment gateway. I receive all notifications and alerts and have never missed any notification ever.

Pros:

The best part about Razorpay is they do not have many compliances to approve the account. I provided all my company documents and they approved my account within 3 days. And since then I have been using my account without any problem.

Cons:

The only thing I do not like about Razorpay is the invoicing system. It has some basic invoicing templates and do not have a professional invoice format. Also I do not have any option to create any invoice format of my own.

Feature packed Payment Gateway

Comments: Overall, we are happy with Razorpay. Their support is good and the payment interface is sleek.

Pros:

We implemented Razorpay to accept subscription payments from our Indian users. It offers a lot of payment options. Apart from it, there are options to generate QR code, payment links, invoices and payment pages.

Cons:

Fees for using Payment pages is very high.

Great software for payroll management needs!

Comments: Razorpay helps us with streamlining our payment processes. We haven't had any delays in processing or creating reimbursement requests with Razorpay so far

Pros:

Claiming reimbursements & creating automated tax statements are extremely useful for creating a seamless user journey for all our employees. The software is also really user-friendly & greatly customisable as well.

Cons:

The UI is cluttered in such a way that it's difficult to navigate in between different modules easily. (From Tax deductions to reimbursement or Payslips for example) There are also minor bugs but nothing otherwise.

I can not find any cons. It is very simple tool and does the what we require to do.

Cons:

Razorpay is less secure because SSL support is not always used. Customer-friendly features like gift cards are not provided. Additionally, Razorpay does not have a standard or free version.

Razorpay is always my first choice

Comments: Overall razorpay is good if you are accepting payment within India

Razorpay is very good payment gateway as best part of razorpay is that it does not have any monthly or yearly fees, it is like pay as you go. It will deduct amount around 2.6% from transaction. Also I personally like Razorpay support they are very supportive and always solve my query within 24hrs.

Cons:

Accepting international payment is bit difficult there are many formalities with razorpay and i think the asked around 50K INR domestic payment before allowing international payment.

Perfect for freelancers & small businesses

I've had customers swipe their cards for a large amount and its been over 5 banking days + 2 days on the weekend ..where we haven't received the money, There isn't a number to call and the emails and online chats we are supposed to get a reply in 8 hours it's been 3 days since i filed the complaint with no reply and this morning I get this message with no mention of when they will settle the payment or reverse the transaction to the customer. The worst customer service in the history of customer service

Comments: After using them for 1 year, they suddenly block the service on my live site stating that the partner banks have rejected the company. The same day the send a mail saying everything is fine and approved. Then for one week daily I would get contradictory mails, one saying approved one saying blocked. Post which I got a call saying approved, and again followed by a mail saying blocked. Then they finally decide that it is blocked after 2 weeks and say they will only settle my money after 120 days. Even if there was any reason for rejection, they should have done it right in the start, and not after 1 year of usage and after more than a lakh was collected. They should be sued.

Pros:

Nothing in hindsight. They had international payments.

Cons:

The customer service is pathetic to say the least. They play around with the company's money and don't communicate for weeks.

Razorpay is only good for domestic payments

Pros:

Best things to use razorpay is refund process, customer will get refund in very quick time as compare to other payment gateway, also i personally likes its dashbaord.

Cons:

There are certain things that razorpay need to fix: 1- The need to enable wallet payment for everyone, they have restrictions for wallet payment for new customer. 2- Sometimes they took 15+ days to resolve small issue, customer support slow.

Stripe equivalent in India

Comments: Overall experience with Razorpay has been good. It's breeze to integrate Razorpay in the software product.

Pros:

Onboarding process for Razorpay is quite smooth. Their documentation and integration kits are very developer friendly. The payment process is good and also "Capture" event for any payment provides another check before actually getting money in our account.

Cons:

Their payment gateway TDR rates are slightly higher than other payment gateway providers.

Best ever customers support for payments

Comments: Overall i am good to use razorpay and still using

As a merchant many payment gateway didnt provides good customer support.but razorpay is king. I asked team to update my payment cycle that is totally customized for me and they did it.

Cons:

The only thing i didn't like in razorpay is there compliance for applying international payment.
