Vastly improved our data security process and overall compliance

4.0 last year

Comments: Very positive. Customer support helpful.

Pros:

We compared a number of options to procure OneTrust and are glad we made the decision. The tool has a number of pre-programmed processes and control which meant that we were able to quickly adopt best practice without having to spend huge amounts of resource doing this before making a purchase.

Cons:

Our network infrastructure made achieving SSO difficult, we got there in the end however it was a challenge. Sales team were good, ocassionally pushy at times.

Very complete to run a solid Data Privacy programme

5.0 last year

Pros:

Perfect to run a Data Privacy programme even in large organizations. It allows you to easily keep track of all different aspects, from data mapping of 3rd party providers to recording assets and processing Subject Access Requests. Colleagues in other Privacy-related teams also use it to track consumers' consent successfully. The interface might look retro, almost basic, but it has all the functions a team needs to ensure accurate recording of processing activities and compliance with GDPR and other Data Privacy Regulations. I also really appreciate the learning section on different countries' regulations and the new features that are being developed such as the integrated redaction feature.

Cons:

It can upload things a bit slowly sometimes. There also seem to be limits to the size and types of attachments you can upload, but nothing major. As already mentioned, the interface could be improved for an easier user experience. These are minor issues, mostly cosmetic, that take nothing away from how useful this programme has been to my team. 10/10, I would recommend to anyone looking to start a centralized Privacy programme.

No support on Github, problems ignored

1.0 2 years ago

Pros:

It is working, but I have size issue that need to be solved

Cons:

OneTrust does not answer problems on Github. I got a big size issue with OneTrust on iOS / Flutter, making the app 40 Mo heavier than expected, the question has been unanswered since 1 month, and it seems other questions get ghosted.

Incredibly useful for any organisation wanting to achieve ISO 27001 certification/compliance

5.0 3 years ago

Comments: Fantastic experience, I don't how we would have achieved ISO 27001 certification without Tugboat Logic. It certainly is making our organisation a lot more secure. If we were to manage ISO 27001 compliance without Tugboat it would cost us many hours and salaries, so it is also a money saver.

Pros:

The ease of use and how intelligently the system was designed is a huge plus. There are so many integrations available to reduce manual work. User management is great too. Outrageously affordable considering everything you get.

Cons:

Would be good to have the ability to upload completed excel questionnaires in vendor assessment tool. For global organisations it would be great to have the UI localised in other languages and options to translate policies and procedures.

Great Product, Support Needs Some Work

5.0 7 years ago

Pros:

It does what it's supposed to do and it does it well. I have no idea how I would found all of the cookies on my site without it. It really makes GDPR compliance simple.

Cons:

The UX is pretty clunky but not the worst by any means. It did take a couple of tries to figure out where to go and how to correctly save my cookie settings. The support team needs a bit of help though. It took them over a month to respond to my question. To their credit, they did solve the issue that I was having.

A complete compliance management platform

4.0 3 years ago

Comments: Using Onetrust has been a good experience. The technical support is ok.

Pros:

Onetrust is a very complete platform for managing risk, compliance, privacy and other important roles inside the company. You can manage cookies, assets, assessments and other features.

Cons:

It is a hard work to integrate Onetrust with other systems and it is also difficult to perform tasks such as cookies scanning and the translations of the tenent is not automatic.

Tugboat for Soc2 Type2

5.0 3 years ago

Comments: Certainly allowed us to wrap up our audit in half of the required time.

Pros:

Most important for us was our ability to house all our Soc2 Type2 required documents into a single platform. Further to the above, Tugboat has many modules to manage the audit process hence saving you time and money to build your own custom processes.

Cons:

Does not have a process to manage company assets.

A useful platform to comply with GDPR and ISO 27001

4.0 3 years ago

Pros:

The product can be integrated with Office 365 and it's easily customizable (company logo, authentication, etc.). The Awareness Training capabilities, the Assessment Automation (PIA, DPIA automation) and the Data Mapping functions are very useful. The Data Mapping offers an assessment overview to immediately access the results, the risk levels and residual risk score.

Cons:

Sometimes the online assessments have some minor bugs (especially during the DPIA) and to answer the questionnaire it's better export an Excel file with the matrix.

The best in the business

5.0 3 years ago

Comments: It's been amazing so far, I'm really satisfied with the platform together with the service .

Pros:

The most I like about OneTrust is how efficient the work has become as soon as we started using it. All manual work is gone and everything done under one hood.

Cons:

Since we've recently started using OneTrust, there's nothing comes to my mind yet.

Centralized consent and Preference Management Repository

5.0 4 years ago

Comments: We have created a centralized preference management using this tool. Where all customers preferences for mode of communication is stored and also communication opt outs are stored for compliance.

Pros:

Audit Log has self service capability to view and report for audit and compliance teams. Data Portability and access controls. Ability to keep up with changes in privacy laws.

Cons:

Cost is higher when compared to its competitor Possible Now. Vendor license fees is almost double when compared to Possible now

Compliance Skeptic

4.0 3 years ago

Comments: Cloud based progress and automation.

Pros:

PCI and SOC compliance is key in our industry. Tugboat resources and step by step alerts provided the assurance to our team who was not formerly trained on compliance to achieve the certifications required by our customers.

Cons:

The compliance certification review team did not have full knowledge or understanding of the Tugboat database and had a difficult time understanding the navigation system upon purchase. We ended up working manually which made the following year alot more difficult to follow.

KNIME User Review

3.0 3 years ago

Comments: The team has been very helpful, patient and has collaborated with us through the process. The app works well and it is easy to enter information; however, it will be more efficient if we can automate the process of uploading as much information as possible.

Pros:

Ability to capture the information and determine how our company is doing. We did not measure CO2 before and it was very insightful to be able to see where most emissions were being generated.

Cons:

Better integration and easier way to automatically load the results. Additional information on the descriptions. Having one table format so we can easily import the information. By easily identifying the mapping we ca understand which records from our system went into each summary.

One trust is a cloud tool for GDPF related compliance and its good

5.0 2 years ago

Comments: We use it for GDPR and compliance related issues. The breach incidents can be logged on it. Risk management training and audits can be conducted via this. Tasks can be assigned to review for GDPR on it and can be tracked of its progress. Overall its very easy. If it had more features as per companies requirements, it would have been great.

Pros:

Its very simple to use and the dashboard is very simple to understand for new user

Cons:

Does not have many features. It's very simple with very less features. The other tools in the market have more tools for risk and compliance and audit tasks.

Great product to get your SOC compliance

5.0 6 years ago

Comments: positive experience.

Pros:

Loved easy to use interface and the way everything is organized. Getting compliance documents organized and up to date is a difficult job. Tugboat Logic makes that look easy and my time is spent reviewing the documents not organizing or talking to the lawyers.

Cons:

You can use the policies to file and weed out RFPs

Calculation of Carbon emission

4.0 3 years ago

Pros:

This software is easy to use, allows different users to enter themselves their data. It is really intuitive! It has different ways and explanation to know which data are required and alternatives to estimate the data which are not available. There are graphics, monthly update available. The team is extremely helpful!

Cons:

For our company that has a complex logistic set up and supply chain it was complicated to internally sort out the needed data to adapt to the software format. But Planetly team helped a lot.

Comments: Emmission capturing and management, finding the right measures to help 1.5 target.

Pros:

- Easy to use and understand (even if the whole topic is sometimes complex) - Asking frequently for improvements and trying their best to involve it

Cons:

- Putting in information (especially know where to put what information) could be easier
