Comments: SimpleNexus platform is one stop solution for any borrower to avail any form of loan in smooth and credible manner through simplified legit process of SimpleNexus. It connects all lenders, agents, borrowers ,loan officers etc. to promote smooth loan sanctioning process and enable clear mortgaging process. The platform provides end to end process action which helps in complete tracking of process timelines and actionable in detailed reporting way.
Mortgage related payments get smooth and enough streamlined in comparison to other alternatives
They offer trial period to assess the platform inside out so that final decision should be strengthened.
The platform user interface is interactive and quite handy to operate.

Pros:

It is the modern mortgage lender for borrowers which facilities smooth loaning process end to end. Also, it helps in connecting lenders and borrowers seamlessly with complete transparency through its innovative platform. No involvement of unnecessary hidden charges and tension of middle men. Every process activity from start to end is quite smooth which helps in earliest closure of loan sanctioning process without any hassle. The platform is fast and does not exhibit any latency. It is advanced platform which meets all process requirements in transparent way on platform and there is no scope of fraud at all.

Cons:

More easy and fast documentation process should be incorporated so that we can get away with heavy documentation . Also, there should be involvement of legal team at certain advanced stage in platform which can help in smooth operations from borrowing to recovery without any issue.

SimpleNexus to NCino - An Unfortunate Sale For Mortgage Companies

Comments: I despise using the NCino platform - from point of sale through closing, the platforms half-witted default settings and lack of customizations create a sub-average platform. NCino took a great product, stripped it down, and destroyed the UX.

Pros:

Not much - nearly every change since NCino's acquisition of SimpleNexus has been a negative. NCino has made certain pages look cleaner, but other than minor appearance tweaks, there have been no tangible improvements.

Cons:

They stripped a large number of customizations, adding time and effort to each and every loan application, and creating friction in the origination process. Default options are lackluster and underperforming, and the lack of customization options that were previously offered have been immensely burdensome as today's product is vastly inferior to the product UX pre-NCino

Pros:

Sending an application to clients is easy. The app has a nice loan calculator.

Cons:

It’s not organized as much as I’d like. But once you know where everything is, it’s no problem.

Comments: SimpleNexus has streamlined our process for the whole team. From sharing the app to viewing final disclosures and everything between it is one place for the client and the full team to use without trying to remember who requested something or who it was emailed to. Everything stays with the contact through the whole process. It really reduces multiple requests and lost information.

Pros:

The best thing is the connection with our LOS. The direct and automatic uploading of applications/documents is a HUGE time saver and keeps things organized.

Cons:

Our company has limited the e-sign process to be for licensed parties only. If there was way for unlicensed processors to request e-signatures in Encompass it would be great. But I think it is an issue with my company, not SimpleNexus.

Game Changer!

Comments: My job has dramatically changed having SimpleNexus. It truly is a game changer. I am more organized, and able to flow through files because of the resources SimpleNexus offers. I would recomemend it to every single person in the mortgage business!

Pros:

- Electronic Signatures- Ability to scan and upload documents- Push notifications to keep track of what conditions/documents are remaining - Easy electronic applications that free up your time!ETC!!

Cons:

When I am sending a document to be electronically signed to a third party or borrower and i'm not able to see or pull up the document I sent. When I send a document to be e-signed and I was given the wrong email for a third party to sign with my borrowers and there's no option to pull open the document that is partially signed and resend to a different email or change the email that was incorrectly entered.

Fabulous Platform, Seamless Implementation with Sales Team

Comments: The SimpleNexus Mortgage Platform has helped our organization vastly improve the way consumers interact with our company during the loan process, especially in the beginning as they fill out the application and are now able to securely scan in their documentation from their smart phones. We continue to receive positive feedback on how the transparency and on-the-go access provided to loan officers and agents is helping people do their jobs more easily.

Pros:

I am a marketing manager and company admin for our SimpleNexus Mortgage Platform. From an admin perspective, this software is absolutely fabulous! The interface is user-friendly and intuitive, for all user types - admin, loan officer, agents, and most importantly: consumers. The ability to customize the calculators, quickly add/edit users and branches, and track activity through all the reporting functionalities makes it easy for our in-house team to keep things up-to-date. From a marketing perspective, the app provides complete brand consistency, which is a major plus. The app is 100% white-labeled with a custom app name, icon, description, internal verbiage changes, and visual branding that 100% matches our company's visual aesthetic and messaging guidelines. Training and implementation with our Sales Team was a breeze. The application is so straightforward that many of our team members were already using the app at full capacity prior to our internal follow-up trainings!

Cons:

Promotional materials for Agents, as well as training materials for Processors or Operations team members seemed like a bit of an oversight. While the training and introductory materials for our Sales Team were great, a dedicated intro/promo video for Agents, along with a dedicated training reel for Processors using the software would have been helpful at rollout. While there are several admin capabilities available, the software is missing the ability to edit Calculator Defaults per Branch. It would be great if each Branch could have a distinct Calculator Default, as some branches have vastly different figures for taxes, etc. As with any newly implemented software, there are bugs and glitches. These do happen from time to time, which can be a bit frustrating for some members of our team, but the SimpleNexus support team is always ready to assist as quickly as possible.

Great app our clients love

Comments: Addressed above, but we have from time-to-time test drove competing platforms and haven't found one that compares in functionality, features, easy of use, and ROI benefits above SimpleNexus.

Pros:

We brought the SimpleNexus app on board earlier in their exception have been nothing, but pleased with the app, support, and the great features they continue to improve. The options for our clients to use their preference of smartphone or PC is great as some will only use one or another. The application process for new clients is relatively easy and well laid out and importing a completed app into our LOS is just as easy as a few clicks. If your business is say 100 miles or more away from ours we'd highly recommend trying out SimpleNexus.

Cons:

None that we know of other than we hope SimpleNexus doesn't outgrow the small shop users like ours.

Comments: Easy to navigate and use

Pros:

easy to use. clients who don't understand technology can still comprehend and do the application online and upload documents.

Cons:

When an application is submitted, it does not ask ALL the questions (previous residence, time, payment, etc..) it does not break down the income by month or year or hourly. it always comes through monthly.

Comments: I am often out of the office and having an efficient tool that I can quickly text to prospects and to referral partners is invaluable. Technology that frees me from sitting at my desk is great!

Pros:

Ease of use - especially from my mobile devices. Being able to text to share is excellent.

Cons:

It would be great if closing costs could be incorporated into the quick calculations that are accessible to borrowers.

Great for mortgage loan officers

Pros:

I love that this platform allows for easy delivery to borrowers. It makes the process of collecting loan documents from borrowers easy. Users enjoy the ability to track the loan status and the ability to see all documents in one place. I would definitely recommend this software.

Cons:

It would be better if the preview of documents did not auto close or time out so quickly when viewing on mobile devices.

Comments: I use it to send mortgage preapprovals and now send all mortgage loan applications. The connection allows a user to connect once and provide consent without repeating it for the loan application.

Pros:

Ease of use and convenient for sending Agent mortgage preapproval letters.

Cons:

Some small delays when pulling up my pipeline in my phone app, but very minimal
