A better tool to monitor internet services

Comments: Using Site24x7 is fantastic. Monitoring of services is much easier.

Pros:

I love the proactive monitoring capability of Site24x7. Because it uses multiply sites or datacentres in it services , you are able to pick quickly from the dashboard when services starts degrading. With it RUM feature, it is easy to monitor the user experience of customers from multiple locations and even tell what users are doing wrong.

Cons:

I just do not like the plenty alerts sent when degradation starts

Great monitoring services for MSPs

Comments: We've been using Site24x7 for multiple years now to externally monitor external FW/Router interfaces, URLs, and SSL Certs. The product is consistent and accurate in reporting failures according to the set thresholds, with no false positives whatsoever.

Pros:

1- Permanent links to provide to our customers. 2- Dedicated customer login portal. 3- On-prem pollers. 4- Custom dashboards 5- Scheduling automations. 6- Integrations with PSA platforms.

Cons:

1- The admin GUI could be a bit tricky, with multiple "Admin" tabs at each customer level. 2- Inability to generate historical logs/events for monitors if they are in a failure state. 3- Support could take a while to investigate a case.

Site 24x7 simple but powerful!

Comments: Overall, my experience has been great if not excellent. Their suite of applications provide a “one stop shop” for almost all IT related support software. The ease of implementation coupled with the extensive capabilities of the product greatly outperform competitors and the best part, it’s priced just right.

Pros:

1. Setup is a breeze 2. Very intuitive, easy to navigate, and understand the various functions 3. Included features actually add value and are not hidden behind paywalls 4. Free trial

Cons:

1. Application support can be better. While responses are prompt, support typically points you to help documentation that may have already been read. Sometimes human assistance is preferred. 2. Custom report creation could be more straightforward. I found it difficult to create certain report types in which i needed to select all for attributes\groups but didn't find the option easily

Lots or reporting Options.

Comments: I would say it was good. support and pre sales was a help. also was able to get a bit of a walk though the portal which i recommend.

Pros:

number of things you can monitor and customize. they have a new pricing method now which is not as complicated.

Cons:

UI takes a bit getting used to, there is so many places you can go for stuff. you can get some monitors up and running pretty quick but i think it would take a week or 2 to get it all pretty and done up nice with all the reporting you want for a small business. if you are large it will take a month or more to install modules and getting reporting out and to a site to report it.

Comments: It is a great tool with a lot of features. It would be great if they could add an initial configuration wizard to help setup some of the initial settings.

Pros:

It is very reliable and works well when configured properly. It also has a lot of features under the hood.

Cons:

It can be a bit complicated to configure properly and some of the default alert settings are too low.

Site24x7 is one of the best internet connection monitors I've worked with!

Comments: This monitor is truly "set it and forget it." I set it up and keep it open in a browser window to see the stats at a glance, though it doesn’t need to stay open to work. Whenever there’s an outage, I get an email, and another one when the connection is back. Simple and effective.

Pros:

This is the best internet monitoring service I’ve used so far - it's super easy to set up, and then it keeps track of the connection without any fuss!

Cons:

So far, I didn't encounter any downsides for this software.

Site 24/7 provide an 24/7 support which is phenomenal and KB article which will help administrators and users and user guide which will help to add monitors , trouble shooting the issues and fix the issue.

Cons:

Location based monitoring where our clients will deploy the url global but site 24 /7 provide a location based down alert which all considered as false by our clients

Comments: Overall site 24*7 is best tool to monitor all feature together. Easy to configure and use.

Pros:

1. Alert notifications modes - email, sms and voice2. Real time dashboards3. APM to trace down issue. 4. We can capture different types of logs

Cons:

In dashboards color notification for entire node down and node with particular application down are same. We are not able to conclude whether entire node is down or some application. There must be different colour indication.

Cons:

SSO/SAML Integration the worst part. They have to provide seamless integration with Azure AD or other SAML authentication.

Cons:

- the Linux application monitoring system which only works with processes and not services - the remote script execution system is a bit cumbersome

Pros:

I used both server and website monitoring. It is a user-friendly monitor tool that anyone can use without difficulty. I did not receive a fake alert or notification. I can easily analyze CPU, memory, disk, and swap memory in real time. In server monitoring, enabling both port monitoring and process monitoring is highly beneficial for identifying issues efficiently.

Cons:

I reached customer support recently, Customer support is slow.

Comments: My overall experience is good and I will recommend this for business continuity and a single portal for resource monitoring.

Pros:

1. All Server resources like CPU, RAM, and Disk network can be monitored in one place with details information in real-time. 2- Website Monitoring which alerts whenever it's reached high consumption. 3- Sending real-time alerts on the app, mail, sms, and call.

Cons:

As of now, I haven't found any missing monitoring tool on this.

Easy Integration. Up and Running in an instant. Whole thing was set up for the whole website and support servers in less than an hour.

Cons:

The german translation could be a little bit better. it's not bad it's just a bit funny or unusual at some points.
