The easiest solution to import digital advertising data in data visualization tools
Pros:
Supermetrics is the go-to industry solution for extracting metrics and dimensions from online marketing platforms and pulling them into spreadsheets or data visualization platforms. We use it to connect data from Google, Meta, LinkedIn, Shopify and many other vendors to power Google Data Studio dashboards and to send data to Google Sheets in order to perform analyses and create reports. Supermetrics is simple, effective and reliable.
Cons:
The Data Studio connector can get slow when connected to multiple ad accounts at once. Supermetrics is also kind of expensive compared to some competitors, and doesn't offer bundles for professionals or agencies looking to connect a data source to multiple tools - for example, we use Google Data Studio to create dashboards and Google Sheets to analyze campaign results, and we need to buy two separate Supermetrics products to be able to do so.
Great for Visualizing Data via Google Data Studio
Comments: I having been using Supermetrics for many years in my various marketing roles. I find it essential in making good marketing decisions by utilizing actionable reports with clean visualizations.
Pros:
Pulling data with ease to Google Data Studio
Cons:
Paying extra for more data connectors and occasionally some connectors seem to pull in correct data.
Alternatives Considered: Funnel
Reasons for Switching to Supermetrics: Pricing and a plan with the data connectors I needed.
Terrible customer service, refusing to refund a billing error
Comments: Problem with Supermetrics billing. This year, we were billed in error because of a miscommunication with the team. The entire year we have not used the service, not even once. Now, Supermetrics (PIC) is refusing to provide a refund for the fee that was charged. When you sign up for a service, you place trust in a company that any issue like this will be solved easily and fairly. And with many SAAS companies that is the case. However, with Supermetrics it's different. I am now sharing this experience in the hope my experience will help other customers to make a good decision and not use this service, but instead choose a company that puts customers first and will agree a refund in a clear case of mistake when the service was not used.
Pros:
Functionality mathes what we were expecting
Cons:
Billing policy - unclear, some option for Auto-renew but it shows next to the previous year not the current year so easy to trick into a renewal in error. Customer service - when I approached with a problem, no energy to solve it [Sensitive Content ]and just pushing the problem around, refusing to solve and trying to drag terms out of the small print to support their inaction. Trust - treating me as someone trying to cheat the company when in fact we paid in error due to unclear billing portal (experiences shared by many customers just look at their facebook page). General stupidity - for some reason they feel like clinging on to the $828 they owe us as a refund is somehow good for Supermetrics, when clearly taking advantage of a customer that shared their card details and placed trust in Supermetrics. Well now is the final chance for Supermetrics to put this right. I can't force them to provide a refund but I can ensure the story is shared in full detail so that other customers don't fall into this trap and that will no doubt be 100x more expensive to Supermetrics than treating us with respect and providing the due refund with a smile when we asked.

Ideal for any media campaign dealing with mass data
Comments: Overall, its smooth easy to use and well support across reporting platforms. But I would benefit from more guides and support documents
Pros:
The best things about Supermetrics is the simple connection to Looker Studios and Google Sheets. It can fetch Google Analytics data right to that platform, no exports or playing around with formats.
Cons:
There is not the most robust set of guides or support available on all functions. Maybe this is because they would need constant updating, but I do feel I don't know what I don't know about the platform.
Review on API
Comments: Great
Pros:
Query builder, easy to authenticate and connect to any social networking accounts, adopter to connect BI tools
Cons:
Based on our requirement I found this tool a perfect solution
Alternatives Considered: Funnel and Zoho Expense
Reasons for Switching to Supermetrics: Other products do not have all connectors, and not easy to connect, high maintenance
Institutional reporting platform with a lot of public support but is not worth the price.
Comments: Look, Supermetics is good. It's a great solution for many people but for a small agency with only a couple of clients that just happened to have a significant adspend, it was sunsustainably expensive - Plus the prices have tripled across the course of a couple of years. Frankly, for what I needed it for, there are other SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper options out there. Supermetrics is like the Clickfunnels of reporting software. Eeryone is spruiking it to claim that sweet affiliate kickback money but is it the best solution? They've gotten away with charging way more up until smaller players come onto the scene and offer the same functionality at a fraction of the price. In my case, a lifetime deal for similar funstionality at one third of the monthly price of Supermetrics. I'll not be going back.
Pros:
The setup is comprehensive, there's a bunch of handy templates, it makes reporting a breeze. Supermetrics is tight.
Cons:
Those eye watering price tags when you start spending any real budget.
Alternatives Considered: Two Minute Reports and Swydo
Reasons for Switching to Supermetrics: I switched from Supermetrics to another platform. Supermetrics was unsustainably expensive for a small operation when all I wanted was hourly exporting of Facebook data.

Excellent Integration and data extraction
Comments: Its interface has what is necessary to reflect the data in a practical way, it saves a lot of time by not having to log in to each platform, I would recommend it for large companies that work with many platforms and need to process large amounts of data since it automates the reports and save time in the optimization of marketing campaigns.
Pros:
It is a tool that saves time and takes advantage of the data from Facebook ads, Instagram, LinkedIn, Tik Tok among others, I like that it unifies the statistics from different platforms in one place, it is a useful tool if you work with Business Intelligence, all the information it extracts can be analyzed in data applications such as Tableau and Google data Studio.
Cons:
One negative point is that as it integrates with various platforms, it takes some time to update and process the data, another negative point is that it sometimes has errors when syncing with other platforms, such as Facebook and Google, it's something their developers need to work on.
My personal view of Supermetrics
Pros:
I liked how simple it was to use and how quickly it could analyze large amounts of data. Supermetrics enables simple yet powerful data analysis, and the user interface is simple to grasp. Furthermore, Supermetrics is extremely cost effective and allows for data visualization in a variety of formats.
Cons:
The most significant disadvantage of Supermetrics is that the data it provides can be quite expensive. The pricing structure can be complicated, and it may not be worthwhile for small businesses or individuals who only need access to a few data sources. Furthermore, Supermetrics can be difficult to use for some users and may take a significant amount of time to learn.

Good for building web dashboard
Comments: Overall good tool but could improve with offering more integrations.
Pros:
The connectors it has to several platforms and also the predefined dashboards that allow you to pull data from different data sources like FB/GA etc in a very easy way and the plug it into nice dashboards. Price wise is very competitive.
Cons:
I missed connectors to ecommerce platforms like Shopify or magento as it will be very useful for ecommerce users to add that data to do analysis. i also did not like that data only refreshes automatically every day, if not you need to do it manually.
Analyzing my marketing strategies efficiently
Comments: The ability to connect all my data sources on the same platform and use it to generate custom reports has been a real boon to my day-to-day work, and I've been able to save a significant amount of time that was previously spent trying to collect data from multiple sources.
Pros:
What I love the most is the ease with which I can track and analyze my marketing data on a single platform and thanks to this tool, I can seamlessly connect to all my marketing data sources like Google Analytics, Facebook Ads and LinkedIn Ads, all in one place, which means I no longer have to spend hours trying to combine and analyze information from multiple sources.
Cons:
I have noticed that sometimes there can be issues with loading some data sources and also sometimes I would like a little more control and flexibility in the report templates.
Amateurish and Infuriating
Comments: Supermetrics doesn't fail to infuriate me on a daily basis. I use this software to make complex automatic reporting dashboards both internally and client-facing. I hate it. The more complex you make something, the more likely it is to fail. For simple things, this software has a wealth of options to use. The more complex you want to take things, the deeper you dive, the worse it looks.
Pros:
It's the best software out there for what it does that i have found.
Cons:
Amateurish front-end, queries that fail without any alert, incompatible metrics, a general pain to use.
Supermetrics Tools and Team are truly top-notch.
Comments: My experience with the Supermetrics team is what truly takes their software/service to the next level. Their operations support team is quick to respond, eager to help, and ambitious with their goals of keeping their customers happy. I have never seen such a responsive, personable, and all together helpful team of individuals. I will recommend Supermetrics 10 out of 10 times.
Pros:
The datastudio connection capabilities are relatively simple to set up and extremely useful. Supermetrics works seamlessly with Google's system to provide killer live-reporting tools for high-level KPIs.
Cons:
There is not much to dislike here. The price is extremely fair in relation to the competition. The only slight drawback is the initial linking takes a small time commitment, but once a connection is made via Datastudio the rest is quick and seamless.
Supermetrics Review.
Comments: Overall I would recommend Supermetrics to others.
Pros:
We primarily use Supermetrics as an integration connector for Google Data Studio. We have also used it as a google sheets integration. Both have worked very well for us. It’s an intuitive set up and the data is reliable and automatically refreshes.
Cons:
The pricing plan, you used to be able to pay per individual connector. I believe they now have tiers for the google sheets integration.
Good tool for extracting multiple data sets from multiple data sources
Pros:
Easy to use, can connect to multiple data connectors. We use it for the google suite & social media.
Cons:
Sometimes can be prone to errors, would like a few more connectors available. Socialbakers etc.
Big expectations but big failure
Comments: So yeah, we in the organisation and I in particular had high expectations. I told people who were reliant on the dashboard that with the help of Supermetrics our dashboards would kick ass. That was a mistake.
Pros:
The promises were big, but they were not kept. Link any data source to your Google Data Studio reports, that's awesome. However, following all guides multiple times it turned out it's not that easy and I'm not even sure it's my fault
Cons:
So yeah onboarding is a mess. You have your account, you have teams you have licenses you add to team members, you have your sources accounts that you link to your teams. That's a big mess. Then you have to link your Supermetrics account to your data sources in Google Data Studio, and even though you've paid the hefty price of 100$ (but it's reasonable I must admit), it says your trial has expired. Uhm, what?
I cannot live without Superhuman
Pros:
single-handedly the most important software and time management tool
Cons:
mobile and web don't sync and could always use more shortcuts for working in different time zones
Supermetrics great for Marketing Analytics
Pros:
Supermetrics is great to pull data from our marketing vendors. My team uses super metrics for google sheets as an important step in our etl process and well as reporting and visualization. The functionality makes it easy to pull into data directly from our platforms with great level of detail that makes reporting and marketing analytics is simpler process.
Cons:
My team uses supermetrics as a check against any unmatched data in our database. If no data comes up in the query, that means the check passed, however the supermetrics comes back as an error which can raise an unnecessary flag to our data engineering team.
Simplifying and empowering my marketing analytics
Comments: This tool has greatly simplified my marketing analytics by centralizing data from different platforms in one place. Now I can easily extract the data I need and generate custom reports in a matter of minutes.
Pros:
What I like about this platform is its extensive integration with 80+ sales and marketing platforms. I no longer have to spend time and effort trying to extract data from different tools, everything is in one place. In addition, the is very easy to use, which allows me to generate reports and analysis quickly and efficiently.
Cons:
What I did not like so much, would be the cost of the tool. While I understand that it provides significant value and saves me a lot of time analyzing data, the price may be a bit high for some users, especially a small business or entrepreneur.
Great data connector
Pros:
This has saved our teams 30+ hours a month that used to be used to pull data manually. These data connectors now pull everything into our dashboards with ease. It's an amazing time saver and connects with the majority of our platforms.
Cons:
Some of the social metrics can get a little weird, I think that's more of the platforms than Supermetrics, though.
One heck of a powerful tool
Pros:
Gives me a lot of visibility that I did not have before.
Cons:
Sometimes a bit clunky with Google sheets with the refresh of current data but eventually it pans out.
Best Paid Data Import Tool for Google Data Studio
Comments: Currently the best in its field for out of network data imports.
Pros:
Has the most data import options compared to its competitors. Metrics and features available for import were bare-bones but mostly what I clients needed.
Cons:
Limited features and only used in niche circumstances for data imports. Google could easily make their own native import tools.
Impossible to get started with
Comments: To sum up, if you know Supermetrics already - or have a friend that does -, then you can probably get a nice end result. If you're new, I would never recommend it. You're left completely to yourself with no customer support.
Pros:
So I have seen Supermetrics Sheets that work great. Once it works, it's a great tool.
Cons:
I have tried to get started with Supermetrics for 28 days now, and this is by far the worst experience I have ever had with a software provider. It's difficult to find out how to get started with building data sheets, but the worst part of the product? - Customer support is utterly useless. I've tried contacted them three or four times to get started. They answer inadequately and is unable to help you with even simply requests. Oh yeah, and you're likely to wait up to a week for an answer that does not solve your problem.

Tricky to set up and pricey but undeniably effective.
Pros:
I can get all of my figures from all of my sources into a google sheet at predetermined intervals with just some initial set up.
Cons:
The initial set-up is rather awkward and it can be very difficult to work out what to fix if it stops working for whatever reason.
Supermetrics is a platform that is true to its name - It is 'super' in gathering data and metrics
Pros:
The platform offers many different connectors - both for the source data and endpoint. It works nearly flawlessly, which was a major issue we had with other similar products - we ran into issues with all of them.
Cons:
It is very expensive and unlike other similar platforms there is no free option (with fewer capabilities).
Great for marketing use but too expensive
Pros:
Great features including the refresh button that made it easy to see daily live updates analytics.
Cons:
Way too expensive, was thinking it would be that over $200 charge yearly but monthly is quite excessive especially since we only use a few metrics on the software.
