Pros:

This app is amazing and underpriced. I've seen companies small and large pay ALOT more - piecing together multiple isolated products - and still getting less functionality. And Zapier integration sealed the deal.

Cons:

honestly none yet - a mobile application would make for better accessibility/notifications but it's far from a must-have.

A Must Have Sales Tool

Comments: I have used Hunter as a secondary tool for prospecting for the past 5 years, I'm loyal and I'm ROI positive so it's a no brainer to continue using the software.

Pros:

If you or your sales team does any prospecting by visiting a website, this extension will be a game changer especially if you're looking to acquire emails associated to the domain in just a simple click. The emails are much more accurate than buying a list and it's much more affordable to seek out and build your own list using hunter. I suggest using a combination of LinkedIn and Hunter to make sure you find the decision maker or contact to maximize your monthly limits.

Cons:

Sometimes it take a little bit of time to load and if you click off the site while it's loading emails you have to start over. This is a minor issue but it can get frustrating if you are heavily prospecting a large list which leads me to my next con, quantity of emails you can acquire with their packages. If you prospect a lot of companies every month you may need to switch to a higher tier for membership which could get pricey.

Finding Hunter has increased out business

Of course we want it to find more email addresses but it is getting better every single day!

Hunter + Campaigns - powerful and unique

Comments: So far my experience is very positive and we can manage our leads fully within Hunter. Although whilst in its current state, our cold marketing workflow requires a few workarounds, with a few improvements, Hunter will massively increase our efficiency compared to working with spreadsheets and CSVs.

Pros:

The quality of the bulk domain email search results The Leads and Campaigns features make it a one stop shop for cold marketing campaigns Custom fields for Leads and Attributes (with caveats, see what I like least)

Cons:

Lead filtering could be further developed to make it quicker and simpler to discard unwanted email addresses, for example, anything containing the term, "info@" Custom fields (columns) cannot be used as a Leads filter, making them somewhat pointless. The inability to bulk edit Leads is frustrating because editing a field one by one on a bulk domain search is not really an option for 1000s of leads.

A Reliable and Impressive Experience with Hunter

Comments: Hunter is generally regarded as a reliable and valuable tool for finding and verifying email addresses. I appreciate the ease of use, extensive database, and the efficiency it brings to their email outreach efforts. The platform's user-friendly interface and straightforward search functionality make it accessible even to those without advanced technical skills.

Pros:

One of the standout features of Hunter is their extensive and accurate database. Whether I needed to find email addresses or verify existing ones, Hunter consistently delivered reliable results. And made my work much more efficient and saved me valuable time.

Cons:

I don't find any cons in hunter. Hunter made my marketing easy.

The best tool to get email format for each company.

Comments: The tool has some good features but also has some not-so-good features. It should be improved in the future to become a more popular and useful tool for lead generation.

Pros:

I don't use all the features that Hunter has. The most important feature for me is to get email format when I search for emails from different companies.

Cons:

I don't like their email verification feature because it is not good and sometimes you will get the wrong results. Also, their email finder feature is not good.

Amazing Email Campaign & Leads Management Tool

Comments: Amazing experience with Hunter would like to see integrations with more tools.

Pros:

I love the UI-UX and Leads Management feature & EMail campaigns Follow-ups with the EMail verifier tool that confirms the credibility

Cons:

Would love to see LinkedIn email finder features again with save lead option directly in the CRM or add Linkedin Campaigns to send messages to LinkedIn connections.

Great tool for finding emails and managing lead lists

Comments: Hunter is a good tool for those looking for the best bang for their buck, but if you separated each feature, there are better individual tools on the market

Pros:

The fact that Hunter connects to HubSpot, Salesforce, and Pipedrive is essential to my workflow. Easy to export enriched lead lists, no manual data entry

Cons:

Very expensive compared to other e-mail finding tools but also more inclusive. Also concerns about GDPR regulations and parameters behind the tool's data extraction methods

Best email finder tool

Comments: My overall experience with this tool is incredible. It helps me find the maximum number of accurate email addresses than any other tool. I am happy with the performance of the Hunter.

Pros:

Hunter can find the maximum amount of emails than any other tool can. It provides majorly valid emails. Very user-friendly and import/export is also very easy. Other than the email finding feature, its email verification feature is also very accurate.

Cons:

It's a little bit costlier. Other than this I have not come across any other cons. I am happy with this tool overall.

Good tool for e-mails scraping

Pros:

Intuitive tool, easy to collect emails from big companies

Cons:

It could have more data on smaller companies, the price could be lower for the first tier

Hunter has allowed me to work less, with more reward

Comments: Their customer service is superb. They get back to you within a couple of hours and help you out with any questions you have outside of their FAQs, which answer most. I'm a part of a small company that relies on garnering leads for our clients and have tried other services but they don't compare.

Pros:

The google sheets add-on makes it super easy to search for emails and parse my results. I also appreciate that with your subscription it only counts requests when they've found an email, not just searching for one.

Cons:

I'd like to be able to search for emails AND verify them through google sheets instead of having to bulk verify the emails found through the hunter.io site.

Amazing Tool and Customer Support!!

Comments: Great work guys.. The tool is amazing.. And to the top of that the customer service is superb.. I emailed the customer team on 23 March as I had some IP issues related to my account and I could not use the extension, it was so annoying for me that I needed to send guest post proposals and I could not fetch the emails to contact the people.. Being a part of SEO department its like my daily bread and butter but the moment I emailed the customer team, I got an immediate response within 15 minutes asking for issues I am facing and guess what my problem got fixed within 12 hours of request even during this COVID 19 outbreak.. Amazing work guys, you are assisting your customers with so much promptness even during this tough time. Keep it up..

Pros:

The main feature is of extracting email ids of the websites even when the emails are actually nowhere on the website's contact page, it's so easy to get the emails that too department wise like editorial, marketing, etc.. The Google Chrome extension which is offered by hunter is so easy to use and hassle free..Super email hunter tool..

Cons:

No con as such, just a suggestion please increase the monthly limit for hunter extension for free users..

Great tool to use

Comments: I love its simple design and its different extensions to Chrome, CRMs integration, and Add-ons on Google sheets. It provides different functionalities that process emails, domains, and company names at once. It’s my connection to the professional world that adds benefits like developing focuses and unique marketing campaigns. Others include increasing sales figures by introducing new clients by using the proper RPC location tool. Hunter has opened a new world of limitless for my business, and I have confidence; it will increase my income.

Pros:

I use Hunter in my side online business and I can say Sending and validating, emails may seem hard, but with Hunter, I have managed to send bulk emails flawlessly. It’s an easy to use tool that generates business emails within minutes. And it comes with CRM integration options that help me add and send emails with tracking options. It’s one of my favorite marketing sales tools that allow my sales development team to quickly and easily generate leads. I like the Hunter source meter more since it shows me the different sources to source for a business prospectus

Cons:

Sometimes the scraped emails don’t get verified automatically forcing me to test them manually. Others times I have received wrong email addresses although Hunter said they all get confirmed, and other times it only finds generic email addresses.

Best Email Finder

Comments: As a marketer, I'm regularly using hunter.io I really like their free Email campaign feature up to 500 monthly.

Pros:

Hunter is the best tool for email finding from domain, also they have email validation and campaign setup feature. It is an all-in-one solution for the Outreach manager.

Cons:

Everything is great, although they have a free plan, but the paid plan is too much expensive. It should reduce a little bit so that as a startup company owner I can handle the cost.

A must have tool for linkbuilders

Comments: As a link builder this tool is one of the better options out there and I use it for outreach 50+ times a day.

Pros:

This is a great chrome extension for anyone that does a lot of outreach. A great tool that helps find and verify email accounts without having to leave the webpage you're on. The source meter shows how many different sources verify the contact info generated. The "most common pattern" feature is great for those of us that know who we're looking for but don't have a specific email address.

Cons:

They removed the LinkedIn functionality from a couple years back and that was one of their best features.

Product under constant improvement and the best support

Comments: It literally turned my productivity to “before” and “after”. A tool, impossible to think my day without. An absolute must for anyone targeting individuals directly in big quantities. In 3 years I’m using it I’ve found emails you can’t imagine.

Pros:

This is the most clever tool to scrape emails even from the hidden places of the webpage, packed into a very intuitive design (really impressive) and the best support I’ve experienced so far (hello, Giovanni!)

Cons:

As it scrapes the emails, it doesn’t automatically verify them. I had times when I got out an email through Hunter, which bounced back, which is not good, as it lowers my e-mail server rating

Stopped working with no notice so moved to another tool

Comments: I had been using it to get emails and phone numbers for candidates I wanted to recruit. It was a convenient Chrome add-on, and worked fine for years. Then it stopped. I ended up switching to Rocket Reach, which I like.

Pros:

Provided reliable contact data for candidates I wanted to reach out to.

Cons:

One day, it just stopped working. I tried to troubleshoot, but finally gave up and moved to a different tool.

Find email addresses with some reliability

Comments: If you're looking for some professional email addresses every now and then, you may get by with the free tool on their sites. It's a very powerful method of finding addresses to contacts you have no connection with.

Pros:

Hunter allows you to find email addresses from organizations based on their domain name. It's a good starting point if that is all the information you have. They are able to share these addresses with transparency as they use public sources to collect the email addresses.

Cons:

There is some extra verification process that needs to take place once you find an email address. While Hunter providers a confidence score, you'll want to do an additional step of verifying emails yourself so you know that your email will be delivered to the correct address.

A companion solution for outreach campaign

Comments: Takes out the hassle of finding contact details within an organization. Saves time and complemented with a chrome plugin that works well.

Pros:

Beautifully designed solution to find contact details. An essential solution for outreach campaigns. The chrome extension is very useful for ongoing research.

Cons:

Lack of integration options for popular CRMs. Few integrations available to help with the automation of gathering information.

Comments: Hunter.io fits best when we need to extract professional email addresses along with detailed research on any intended company.

Pros:

Hunter has an inbuilt search engine through which a user can extract email addresses and company details by submitting the intended company's web address, which is the best-liked thing about this app.

Cons:

Hunter.io now has removed a feature that would allow a user to search and verify professional email addresses from the LinkedIn profile link.

Super Easy to Use!

Comments: A must have for salesmen and many other people in the professional world!

Pros:

I love this product and since I downloaded the Chrome Extension it is even better! Saves time when prospecting which means more success.

Cons:

It doesn't always pull the info on websites. I would say most of the time it does, but it does seem that sometimes there are gaps.

Easy to use , up to date, excellent customer support, really useful. Trustworthy. Email addresses that were not easy to find as part of my job as a data entry freelancer, can be easily found using Hunter. It is one of the most trustworthy softwares as well as very easy to use.

Cons:

I cannot find anything I don't like. I think that indeed it is reliable, which is the most important part of my work when researching contact infi.

LOVE Hunter

Comments: Switching to a paid version has been great - nice to capture leads throughout the day and handle everything in one export

We've found Hunter to be extremely valuable as a simple prospecting addition to our sales and marketing efforts. Makes adding new emails a snap

I only wish that it could fine more email addresses, and had additional information (more than it already does) related to each prospect

My review

Comments: Overall, it is a great app to use when prospecting or searching for leads.

Pros:

The best feature I think is the functionality of searching websites for emails. This helps amazingly with my prospecting and finding contacts and their titles.

Cons:

Because of not using all the functions with the app, I dont think I really have a least favorite feature right now.

Best way to find email addresses from any website

Comments: Hunter makes marketing outreach so simple. If I like a blog or website and want to reach out to them I can extract the editor's email through hunter.

Pros:

Hunter lets you draw email ids from anywhere, I don't have to prepare a sheet and accumulate all names and domains, I can just open a website and copy email addresses from that website. They also provide the names and designation these days which is so helpful. And it counts just 1 lead for 100 emails drawn from 1 domain. I can check later which email address is active or not and send my campaign to the prospectives ones only.

Cons:

Its a bit expensive. I try to make full use of it but 1000 emails for a month is really less. Other than that hunter is by far the greatest tool for extracting emails in bulk and individually.
