Tools that ensures smooth single sign on between azure and wordpress

Comments: MiniOrange helped ensure single sign on for our customers who need to access a separate help resource website while being logged in their accounts. This ensures a very seamless experience and smooth transfer between different platforms - azure and wordpress. MiniOrange has the single sign on functionality we needed and works very well so far.

Pros:

Easy to use and configure, works as expected, support responds quickly

Cons:

Cost is a bit higher than expected, the settings interface could have some help tooltips added to avoid confusion

Predatory licensing and product descriptions

Pros:

Their marketing glossies are great, strong home page and good reviews with multiple blog posts singing their praises... but it's not the average customer experience. Often they write comments to articles themselves about how great they are and the Wordpress plugin ratings all have the same verbiage: the average customer experience is hoping for a better product than they'll ever receive and their customer support goes dark when you call them on it.

Cons:

I'd give zero stars if I could! I assumed good faith but after a few emails with screenshots of their own licensing agreements it became clear that their licensing and descriptions are deceptive, they know their product doesn't work right at the free tier and when you call them on it they'll insist you misinterpreted the licensing and tell you to give them money, or they'll walk away from the conversation and won't talk to you anymore. miniOrange products' agreements and licensing look polished, but they're only there to hook you in and when the product doesn't work, they tell you to upgrade the licensing tier and when you do it and expect it to work, it doesn't. Don't fall for it, there are a thousand other plugins that both work AND are actually free but have strong customer support.

Everything works great

Comments: We needed to setup 2fa for existing VPN soluiton. MIniOrange already had an existing solution. Setup and administration via web portal was very easy, our existing device had no problem talking to MiniOrange server and the price is very reasonable.

Pros:

It was simple to setup, I was able to test everything within 2 days

Cons:

Nothing bad to report, everything works as expected

Very User Friendly SSO & Auth Solutions with Excellent Customer Support

Comments: Excellent. We SSO into multiple applications. And use miniOrange as the IDP for Azure AD

NFT Token Gating

Comments: It was hard to find a solution that Mini-Orange provide. The team have been excellent at answering questions, understanding my needs and then delivering.When there has been an issue, they have always been on hand and fast to resolve in a very professional manner

Pros:

I was looking for a Token Gating Solutions for Web3/NFT's that would work with my current Web2 structure. I was delighted to find Mini-Orange who were able to deliver what I was looking for at a reasonable cost.

Cons:

As Web3 and NFT's is new, I had to give a lot of feedback on what needs to change for the functionality to work as I need it. I was happy that the team delivered on their promise to get to a working solution.The onboarding / setup was longer than expected, but the team figured out the issues and responded fast.

Easy-to-Use, Configure & Integrate

Comments: With MiniOrange I was able to quickly and easily resolve the challenge of a MFA server. I end up saving money by using a service I trust over spinning up my own instance and having to manage it. MiniOrange does the "heavy lifting" and I appreciate it.

Pros:

I love the ease of use and intuitive nature of the product I use. I can easily take users in and out of the configuration without complicated steps. Once setup, this has been a huge help to the company for years, with literally no downtime and a response back from support every time I write.

Cons:

I do not like the fact I cannot control the branding name. I would love to be able to configure the name the Google Authenticator uses and make that a brand for the company. I would love to see that functionality in future builds.

Custom Solution Delivered in No-Time

Comments: Right from the time I first tried miniorange when looking for SSO solution, my interaction from miniorange via Vidushi was excellent. Professional approach and understanding every concern and need of a client was the hallmark. Really appreciate the work done by Mini orange team and would highly recommend their service to anyone who is looking for SSO solution.

Quality product with great support

Comments: This product was easy to setup and functions well. The customer support was impeccable. At one point, we asked them to add event hooks to support extension and they did with little turn-around time. We also had some custom requirements around attribute mapping which they worked through with us. They were willing to get on the phone with us at inconvenient times (for them), due to the timezone difference. Currently, we need both the free and premium versions installed to support production and non-production environments. This makes upgrades more challenging than we'd like, because we were not willing to purchase an additional license.

Pros:

This product has a thorough feature set which met and exceeded our requirements.

Cons:

A few minor bugs and unintuitive design related to attribute mapping. The code is not as clean as I'd expect with a professional product. The license only covers one environment, where as I wish the license covered one production and one development environment.

A SAML Service Provider with cool features

Comments: There are a lot of steps and redirects happening until you finally are authenticated the first time. But then it's just like SSO should be.

Pros:

It integrates smooth with TYPO3 v 10. Syncing of user data can be configured by mapping data from authentication service into TYPO3 is nice.

Cons:

I'm missing the possibility to use the same extension for login in backend. And there is no possibility to set default values during mapping.

MiniOrange VPN Radisu Authentication

Comments: With mini orange we were able to efficiently fulfill our company wide requirement for 2 factor authentication for VPN access.

Pros:

miniOrange provides a stable, reliable platform we use for Radius authentication . The implementation is straightforward with plenty of documented examples to help in the rollout.

Cons:

We have had minor interruptions with SMS code two factor authentication. MiniOrange does allow for both SMS and Email codes so we have not had any significant downtime .

Best and Fast Technical Support

Pros:

MiniOrange have pre-build integration/connector with most of the well known application.

Comments: We were able to fulfill a client's request within a few weeks and the implementation was straightforward and easy. miniOrange has great documentation to support the installation and implementation.

Pros:

The price was very competetive and miniOrange customized the solution specific to how we needed it.

Cons:

The only challenge was the different timezones; so meeting scheduling was difficult. Everything else was stellar!

Miniorange xecurify adaptive authentication

Pros:

Easy to use and traverse. And accessing the features is easy.

Cons:

Sessions do expire quickly , also using the website on mobile resolutions is a bit tedius when used. Only convenient for desktop which I didn't liked

Awful Customer Support

Comments: Possibly the world's worst support. Expect long delays and hidden payments and charges. Could not recommend under any circumstances.

The customer support is absolutely atrocious, definitely the worst experience I've had as a customer with any tech company in my life. The poor support alone is enough to turn you off the company.

Feedback review

Pros:

Multi-Factor Authentication options are very flexible. Support provided is very good and responses are provided in timely fashion. Requests for additional enhancements and customizing the product features are implemented very good as per Business Requirements.

Cons:

Only one issue that we were facing while using MiniOrange Radius Adapter and RSA Secure ID in ADFS. At present we couldn't use both the options and we were restricted to use only one as of now, which limits our flexibility.

Awesome MFA product

Great IDP and SSO

The use of groups, and and policies can be a little confusing

2FA security for WordPress

Comments: To increase security, one necessary item in today's world is 2FA. If your email gets compromised, or you decide to use some lame password that's the same password on each site instead of using LastPass or another password manager, then you're most likely going to get hacked at some point. MiniOrange adds 2FA to the mix so even if an attacker knows your username and password, they must also have access to your phone in order to gain access to your account.

Pros:

WordPress doesn't come with 2FA, but Mini Orange fixes that problem.

Cons:

I can't think of anything. Everything seems to work just fine.
