Great all-around people management software

Pros:

bob team is extremely agile and receptive to feedback. New features are pushed frequently and we feel heard when talking to the client service.

Cons:

Most definitely the application's speed. It's sluggish, and the login takes forever.

Alternatives Considered: Zoho People, Namely, BambooHR, Sage HRMS, Workday HCM and Podio

Reasons for Switching to Bob: bob seemed to have the best balance between customizability and provided/fixed frameworks of people management.

Makes us look professional

Comments: Great solution and great company. Really easy to implement and the ? At the bottom that shows you a video on how to use the page is incredible for set up. Everything you need is in HiBob and there is always 2/3 different ways to do a task to suit each organisation.

Pros:

HiBob tracks all out HR data in one place and we can access it with ease. When we onboard new employees, they love it and it makes us look really professional as a company.

Cons:

The mobile app is great but you can’t see other people leave. A company view like there is on the desktop would be perfect.

Alternatives Considered: BambooHR

Reasons for Choosing Bob: Breathe is good for a 1-20 man company that just wants to track holidays and not use a spreadsheet. If you want more then you get HiBob.

Reasons for Switching to Bob: Other companies experiences. They warned me off it from the time to set up and implement to overal use of the product.

Fantastic, Flexible Option

Pros:

Unlike other HRIS companies I've worked with in the past, the Bob platform is incredibly flexible. I'm able to set up customized onboarding flows, employee fields, and reports for every instance. Surprises come up in HR a lot and HiBob can go with the flow.

Cons:

My least favorite feature is no good screen to view all holidays across the company for employees.

Reasons for Switching to Bob: Bob had more flexibility and more integrations with our other systems.

Looks pretty but not an effective HRIS

Comments: I inherited the system from my predecessor who was non HR. It looks pretty to the end user but on terms of functionality it is limited and feels totally detached from what HR professionals actually need

Pros:

There are very few positives I can draw on

Cons:

The software feels like it has been created in the absence of any HR feedback. Forms dont flow, modules arent effective (talent management for example is completely 2 dimensional and not aligned to any global talent frameworks), org planning is almost impossible.

Affordable, customisable and easy to navigate

Comments: We are satisfied with hibob as our HRIS solution. We are a remote company so it´s really important that all is in one place and that we can track each other bank holidays, different announcements and just being able to get all relevant data with few clicks.

Pros:

The easiness of setting up and customising the system to the company's needs. Not to forget that the price was less than what we were paying for another software that has not had half of the features like hibob. In the end, the system is pretty straightforward for the users, if you are an admin you can easily get the information you need and all is even accessible from your phone.

Cons:

Some of the features could be more customisable such as an organisation chart, conditioning on reviews but if you do report it to the team they communicate if that customisation is on the roadmap or if they believe they will develop it. It would be great to have webinars on new features and great practises of hibob employees itself.

Great hr tool for midsize companies

Comments: Bob as solution as well as bob implementation team and support are outstanding

Pros:

Implementation and deployment was a breeze. The adoption rate of the business is high.

Cons:

Absence of dependent fields when we started and it lacks the ability to customize reporting and homepage for different user groups

A central platform that can connect to all other satellites in your organization, versatile in so many ways.Bobs modules are great, you can define your own system and build as grow, from start-up to corporate

Cons:

We would love to have Calculation fields in compensation planning.And be able to define our own calculations for ex Annual Bonuses

The nicest HRIS I've ever used

Comments: Bob is a highly effective HRIS for small-medium sized SaaS companies

Pros:

Bob is a solid HRIS system that can manage HR processes effectively. The system is user-friendly and easy to navigate, making it accessible to all employees. Its time tracking feature is highly efficient and helps to streamline the payroll process. Moreover, the feedback tracking feature is solid.

Cons:

Bob's performance management leave much to be desired. Additionally, Bob's lack of support for useful competency frameworks is a major weakness. Without a strong foundation in this area, employees may struggle to develop the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in their roles.

User friendly and current

Comments: Really positive, would recommend as it's very engaging in design, but also useful in terms of a HR portal.

Pros:

I really like the social media style communication on the profile page, this has brought our teams together so well across all locations.

Cons:

Some of the dashboards could be adapted to show more of a breakdown. For example time off by reason, not just by month.

Reasons for Switching to Bob: More modern than Sage which fits our people better.

Hibob for a high-growth startup

Pros:

The UI is amazing. People find the application to be really easy to use and interactive. The documents, surveys and performance features are mind blowing

Cons:

The onboarding task lists cannot be grouped into folders. Same with performance reviews questionnaires. Can have more and better integration with slack.

Fantastic, Easily Customisable HR System

Comments: LOVE Bob! I've worked with several HRIS and it is honestly the easiest to use, the support team are lovely and overall it is a great user experience.

Pros:

Access to real time data. System is easy to customise, you don't need a dev team to make changes you need and changes can be done in real time. Ease of use both for the HR team and employees. Its easy to navigate and use.

Cons:

I think more work can be done on the performance management piece i.e.: including weightings on key indicators, instead of on the whole goal.

Great for organizing globally

Comments: We are still working to find the best way to use Bob for many tasks. However, it has really allowed our HR team to unify on practices and documentation in a way that we couldn't before. Our management team likes the ease of requesting promotions and raises for the team, and everyone enjoys the visually attractive org chart.

Pros:

The interface is easy to use, which leads to high rates of adoption. We also like that it works for our employees in Russia - finding a product that works in Russia was difficult, and it kept us from uniting as a global organization. Finally, I like how customizable and configurable it is. Teams in different companies or even different states have very different needs, and Bob lets our HR team build processes that are conditioned on employee demographics.

Cons:

It's a steep learning curve! You need to have someone on your team prepared to really learn the software inside and out.

Bob the best for professional Employement

Comments: The team that is behind bob is beyond the next level their feedbacks are life savior sometimes.

Pros:

Bob makes me help to solve queries in seconds and the responding team is amazing they have solutions for almost everything that the HR department can do and solve for you.

Cons:

Bob is expensive at some level because companies cannot use it to the fullest and the packages from bob may affect their budget.

Simply the best HRS out there

Pros:

Brilliantly designed, intuitive, easy to use for employees and People professionals. By far the biggest selling point though is the fact that Hibob is constantly developing new features which are actually based on customer feedback. All of the traditional HRS' i've used (e.g. BambooHR, Workday, Fairsail) are slow to respond to the needs of a changing HR/People function with an expanded remit (e.g. employee experience & wellbeing). Other challenger HRS (e.g. Namely, Charlie) only offer barebones features with a few gimmicks or are developing at the cost of platform stability. Hibob has unlimited ambition to actually fulfil the needs of the HR/People community

Cons:

Occasional bugs due to there being a lot of new features (however these are few and far between and the longest i've ever waited for a fix is 36 hours), need to grow Customer Success team to ensure they can maintain same awesome levels of support.

Powerful tool with many possibilities

Pros:

There is so much to explore with Bob and the capacity for data is endless. It makes HR more fun with a social media-like feel to it, which helps build a virtual community between employees.

Cons:

Because there is so much capacity, sometimes it can be difficult to navigate and understand the process behind specific tools. There are still some features that I doubt I have understood, but as time goes I explore and learn more and the potential keeps growing.

Comments: Overall really liking HiBob its smooth and easy to use in a general sense, I've used other platforms such as Maconomy, ADP and BambooHR and HiBob would currently be my top.

Pros:

The product is user friendly, straightforward and easy to use.The functions such as time off policies, onboarding modules, e-sign and forms functions are great and practical. Support is amazing and they respond so quickly to my queriesIs able to integrate with some external systems such as Learnerbly

Cons:

Scheduling performance cycles within task lists or setting up emails within task lists aren't easy to do and can be confusing Reporting - effective dates not captured within a pre selected date rangeReporting - navigation challenges some reports are held in analytics some in dashboard some under time off can be confusing would be good to have them all in one place even if they are duplicated elsewhere

Pros:

The aesthetic is fun and non-corporate. Users are encouraged to share their 'superpowers' which helps people to connect with others who have similar interests. The system is really easy to navigate and there are some useful integrations. The support team are always fast to respond to my questions and to tell me about new features, or what they are developing in the near future. You can enable/disable features to customise what you want to achieve with the system and what your current people priorities are.

Cons:

There are some small additional features I'd like such as e-signatures, which I believe is coming soon. The support team are really responsive to feedback about features that would be useful.

Pros:

bob is a user-friendly People tool that has been a great resource for our business. It has helped us automate tasks and focus on people initiatives that make a difference in employees' lives. With easy to use reporting systems and detailed dashboards, we are able to make well informed data-driven decisions.

Cons:

Would love to see further expansion in the 1x1 tool to enable team members to make meetings with their managers, and allow other leaders book 1x1s with team members to encourage mentoring. I would also love to see further development in the e-sign templates to allow for direct uploading of editable pdfs.

With its user-centric design, HiBob has simplified our HR tasks and reduced administrative burden. Their exceptional customer support has provided us with a smooth experience.

Cons:

The only missing feature is the ability to temporarily re-assign scheduled tasks in task lists should the assignee be on leave. For example if our IT systems admin is on leave for 2 weeks and we want their tasks (and any upcoming tasks for that time period) to automatically be assigned to someone else.

Comments: I really enjoyed using this product. My employees were quite engaged in using this and it has truly improved company culture.

Pros:

You can easily customize the product to your needs, really easy to on board and to use and most important to me my employees really use that, great design web and mobile.

Cons:

very young company , needs to see what happens in time. they dont have many global companies and US services isnt ready yet.
