It has been used as student-facing software as well as for HR purposes. It has been adaptable to a higher education setting and has generally been very reliable. > > **Cons**: There can be a learning curve to using PeopleSoft and there are some paths to pages that aren’t the most intuitive. The favorites function works well to remedy this. I have seen some downtime during peaks of traffic, but this could be with well-over 20,000 users logging into the network at once. I am unsure as to the architecture, of the set up, so this may actually be more of a local server issue within our system. > > I have found PeopleSoft to be a reliable tool as a higher education employee.
