After 4 months of dealing with daily crashes, bugs, customer support that doesn't do anything except tell you to restart your system, did I mention crashes and bugs?, and never having the secure knowledge that this software was actually working, I'm happily ending my use of Talech software. As I'm leaving, I wanted to get a report of all the items we sold in 4 months of being open for business. Guess what? You can't. The Talech reports only allow you to look at 20 items at once. This means, if you sell 5 t-shirts styles and there are 5 sizes for each style, you can't see one report of the t-shirts you sold yesterday. Now, there is a workaround they'll tell you -- you "simply" click 20 items, save them to a spreadsheet, unclick those 20 items, click 20 new items, save them to a spreadsheet, unclick... you get the point. Did I mention that each time you click or unclick an item, it reloads your screen? And when it reloads your screen, it seemingly randomizes the locations of your items. So you can't even just go down the list of items sold clicking and unclicking, because the list changes constantly. This is a clear case of let's bring a product to market before it is ready. And charge $50 a month. For what? For software that crashes every day (I'm not kidding -- every employee had to learn the protocol for dealing with the crashes) and won't give you the reports you need to run your business. I didn't have any issues with Elavon. I've been with them longer than Talech. And yet, I'm so annoyed with the Talech software that I'm leaving Elavon as well. DO NOT USE THEM\! YOU WILL NOT GET CALLS BACK AND THEY TRY TO SAY IT WAS AN ELAVON ISSUE\! ELAVON THROWS IT BACK ON TALECH. IT'S LIKE A DOG CHASING HIS TAIL.
