Very uplifting!

Comments: Customer service is exceptional and speedy!

Pros:

It has many features that are important, like: channel sync, website builder, messages, analytics and many reports .. plus more!

Cons:

They only use Stripe for payment processing. It's a little costly.

Alternatives Considered: ADP Streamline

Reasons for Switching to Uplisting: It offered the features I need and has a 14 day free trial. It was also less expensive. I was able I sign up right then, as opposed to filling out a form and have someone contact me.

Nickel and Dime You Software

Comments: Loved at first but its best for my business to find a better solution. Better reporting, built in accounting, built in CRM, actually nice direct booking website, and other solutions.

Pros:

Initially they were a great company and great product. Text message capabilities and pricing.

Cons:

Took them years to develop needed updates to their software including a working app to even see your calendar. They still to this day have a very limited functional application. Expect to use a computer for everything you do on Uplisting. Pricing - So they keep coming up with new features but even for those who have been with uplisting since the beginning, they want to nickel and dime you for what they consider an "upgrade" which compared to other providers is just standard offerings. For example: They charge you $1.25 PER reservation for their security check, $7.00 per a property for security deposit collection, $10 per a month for advanced reporting for owners (owners dashboard) which all other providers have standard, along with other nickel and dime upgrades, and their latest smart lock integration for $10 per a lock, per month (airbnb will be offering this option free in the near future). Just a heads up which is very important. They ONLY payment provider they use for direct bookings is STRIPE. They refuse to connect to any other providers due to large kickbacks. Stripe does not allow for free cancellations for guests so this is something you can't offer to your guests when booking direct. When you compare this to other providers, it's better to pick the bigger providers as they offer built in accounting, detailed owners' dashboard, professional website direct booking website builder/website. I have tried to reach out to uplisting to help but they are now at a point of not really caring about the customers and we are more considered as a number instead of when I initially signed up.

This way, we can keep our base subscription price very competitive. We do not get any kickbacks from Stripe and will be adding additional payment processors. Easy to setup

Comments: Great onboarding, but issues are slow to get resolved.

Pros:

Easy initial setup and use. Onboarding support. Great Airbnb integration. Automation of messages.

Cons:

The app is still very basic, so you often need to switch to the web version for some tasks. Messaging does not keep up with the capability of Airbnb ie does not show images. Integration with VRBO has limitations which affect the completeness of VRBO listings. Connected with Google travel but have absolutely no way to verify if I’m actually listed. (It says it’s listed but cannot find listing after hours of searching) Support hours do not line up with international time zones. Lack of support during off hours and weekends

I love Uplisting

Cost me SO much!

Comments: Started out OK then quickly tanked. I begged for help, and got nothing

Pros:

Not only did I pay $100 a month for one property, but its malfunctioning cost me thousands more in lost bookings. Plus the hours of frustration trying to get help from their “support” team. DON’T use this.

Cons:

Lack of support. It was abysmal. Got worse

Great Channel Manager

Comments: Very good - easy to onboard and has helped to offer our guests a seamless experience. The support team responds promptly.
Would recommend.

Pros:

Integrates with almost all of the big platforms and pricing engines. Great automated customer email system. Easy to update pricing and add different pricing to different platforms. Includes deposit protection (pre-authorisation) with Stripe so don't have to manage damage deposits any more. Can ask guests for ID verification - also very helpful.

Cons:

Only gripe - Managing payments and booking deposits for direct bookings (bookings outside of the main platforms) is their only weak point. Haven't had as many direct bookings through their web platform/portal as would have hoped. Phone app could be more user-friendly.

Exactly what I was looking for...

Comments: My overall experience has been very positive and I truly feel that I am good hands with the Uplisting team.

Pros:

After nearly 10 years with one of the largest channel managers on the market and then a bumpy 6 month run with another provider over promising and under delivering, I was so relieved when I stumbled upon Uplisting by chance in a Google search. It is exactly what I was looking for - as if it were designed by property managers like myself. The customer service is outstanding and the Uplisting team is willing to listen and implement customer feature requests.

Cons:

If I had to find one flaw, I would say not having the ability to edit reservation line items (costs and fees) and in turn the automatically calculated owner payout totals is probably the most important issue that needs to be addressed. However, after suggesting some ideas, the team is working on making this feature available.

Alternatives Considered: Smoobu, Lodgify and inReception

Reasons for Choosing Uplisting: I switched from KIGO because the core user interface is run on outdated technology and instead of recreating a new platform KIGO has continued adding to an outdated system which caused so many errors and issues. After a long run with KIGO, it was just time for a change.I switched from Direct because ultimately it was more common to see an error page when navigating the system than an actual functioning page - although I was always happy with the implementation manager, [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN], as well as the [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN]. It is a good product but has a long ways to go and unfortunately I couldn't be patient any longer.

Switched From: Kigo

Reasons for Switching to Uplisting: Uplisting offers quick customer service which is extremely important to me. It also offers an easy to use platform that is constantly offering more and more features without causing problems with the core features.

Fantastic Channel Manager with forward thinking owners

Comments: Uplisting is a hospitality management tool that makes our business perform operationally with ease, I particularly like how progressive the company is and how they listen to their clients and update the platform accordingly.

Pros:

The software is easy to use set up and operate. Integration with OTAs and other software is simple and has a very strong API

Cons:

Nothing really all is very good, the new upgrades coming for Insights are exciting

Reasons for Choosing Uplisting: One stop shop for all our needs, with Tokeet we had to integrate and create other software to manage our portfolio with Uplisting we don't.

Good Channel Manager

Comments: It was OK. Would have liked an easier way to talk to a person

Pros:

Ease of setting up initially. Good interaction once you understand how to use it

Cons:

No Phone Number!!! Chat box is rubbish - says 20min wait and takes an hour. Once you are connected to a person they take 10 mins a question

Some of the integration with certain online travelling agents could be better. I would love it if you could do EVERYTHING in one place but in some cases I have to go through an OTA

Comments: Overall, it does a good job of helping to keep on top of bookings etc. The response time on the chat feature is variable.

Pros:

Clear screen and easy to navigate software.

Cons:

More time on onboarding would have been helpful, especially tips on how to navigate common issues with Airbnb, Vrbo and Booking.com

Searched Everywhere - This Is The Best!

Comments: Absolutely love the software. I checked many and they were either limited in functionality, or complicated to use, etc. This product just WORKS. I love it. And as they are constantly improving it I can't wait to see where it will be in the near future.

Pros:

Integrating was super easy and user-friendly. The product is to the point and does that job with all the key features needed.

Cons:

I feel that the app can be improved - currently buggy in the inbox and can also have more features.

Excellent Software

Pros:

The software is very easy to use on a daily basis. It integrates perfectly with all the OTA's and other software we use to manage our business. The guest communication and automated message option are perfect and a great time saver. It helps greatly streamline our communications with all guests. I also like the new features which are always being added. The Customer Service/Support are a credit to the business.

Cons:

There aren't any Cons. Everything works as it should and if it doesn't Customer Service/Support are always on hand to assist.

Comments: Great :-)

Pros:

Easy to use and set up, great support if you ever get a question.

Cons:

We had to start using a separate software for our cleaners as we always had issues with our cleaners not being able to access the app on their mobile as after 14 days it would say the free trial has ended.

Pros:

The software is very easy to use. It connects very well to AirBnb and Booking, which are the platforms I use the most. The synchronization of calendar and prices is very fast. Each time I have a question they answer very quickly. Highly recommended

Cons:

I wish it synched prices with VRBO, even for just 1 property, as well.

Managing multiproperty can be easy.

Comments: It has helped us to manage multiple properties using different channels as AirBnB, booking.com, google, etc.

Pros:

This software helps you manage multiple listings on multiple platforms simplifying all your daily work.

Cons:

There is no mobile app and that sucks. When managing multiple properties you need to have access to the software at all times, even when you are not in front of a computer.

Affordable, reliable, and improving

Comments: Overall, we've had a very positive experience with Uplisting. I would highly recommend them to people in the industry. Although there are perhaps other alternative software providers that are better integrated with other platforms, these alternative are often out of the budget of many clients. The system is also improving bi-weekly on average and the customer support is second to none.

We're also hoping to take advantage of their integrations with Tripadvisor and Home & Away once the time is right) () Pricing can be manage easily () Continuous improvements with estimated delivery of these improvements

Cons:

() Not fully integrated (messaging) with booking.com yet (although this should be coming through soon we hear) and this may also be the case with other platforms, such as tripadvisor and home & away (I've yet to try the two) () Sometimes slow to deliver upon improvements despite initial planning

Uplisting is a great choice for STR management

Pros:

Uplisting has an intuitive and logical user interface. Other STR management platforms are confusing and difficult to use. Uplisting helps me effectively manage listings, reservations and pricing. I am also excited to use the newly-introduced reservations widget.

Cons:

It'd be nice if Uplisting provided the ability to more tightly integrate the direct booking/reservation features with my custom website to provide visitors with an uninterrupted user experience and interface.
