During that period I saw no meaningful improvement in page speed or server response compared to my previous host. Because the service didn’t meet expectations, I cancelled the server after the first month. Despite cancelling, I continued to receive charges on my card. I reached out to support multiple times, provided dates and screenshots, and requested a refund for the period after cancellation. Unfortunately, the issue was not resolved and I kept getting billed. For me, the combination of underwhelming performance, confusing billing, and slow resolution from support resulted in a bad overall experience. I’ve since switched to another provider, and the problems have stopped. Based on my experience, I can’t recommend Cloudways. They offer no assistance to fix it and leave your server performing terribly. > > Wish I could share screenshots here - my experience went from being a \#1 fan of Cloudways to sharing all over how terrible they are. I run an agency that has relied on their services for years and they have steadily gotten worse month by month. I have screenshots \& documentation from as far back as April reporting server issues. Suddenly performance took a nose dive and support keeps applying "optimizations" to the server which actually make it worse. Each screenshot shows one agent make a fix, followed by another that reverses the change saying it was incorrect, followed by the next redoing the change.
