About Todoist
Todoist is the world’s #1 task manager and to-do list app, simplifying life for both you and your team.
It’s integration into email, browser, and other tools is a wonderful feature. Nothing else has helped me get things done like todoist.
There are some features that are lacking such as inability to add details to your tasks, limited entries and even some basic features such as reminders are not available in the free version.

Get a taste of Todoist might in task planning and managing.
Comments: I have had an experience of a lifetime using Todoist to organize my tasks. It makes it so easy to keep my daily routine tasks in order and perfectly prioritized.
Pros:
For the time i have used Todoist, i have loved the task manager that allows me to categorize tasks for easier prioritizing. I also like its ease of use and how effortless it is to navigate through it. I like the Todoist reports that help me understand my tasks performance.
Cons:
Todoist has been complete with nothing missing. I have no cons to this point.
Simple and good
Comments: It’s good. Used it for like 3 years but stopped when I moved to Notion and Akiflow. Use Notion for everything and Akiflow was better integrated.
Pros:
Very customizable and it’s great if you just want a todo app.
Cons:
It’s not as useful as Notion for example if you want more functionality.
Idea good but what is difference
Comments: I understand the idea behind the app but did not get the difference between normal note app in my phone and todolist. Maybe they can offer extra features or make easy to understand these differences for people.
Pros:
It looks like useful and well-designed website/app. Send me mail to remind my activity and ‘todolist’.
Cons:
I used really short time the website because I did not understand the difference by taking note in my PC. I think they should find a different way why people use the app instead of using only phone ‘note’ app. Also they send me lots of email to remind me something but I stopped using the app. It looks like a spam your mail box.
Turbocharges productivity
Pros:
The most feature packed task management app in existence
Cons:
The lack of a native ability to differentiate between due date and period of performance
Keeps me organized
Pros:
I’m someone that needs reminders and to do lists for literally everything. Todoist definitely helps me stay organized with my tasks and keeps me from forgetting things.
Cons:
The only feature I find that is missing to make this software perfect is persistent reminders.

Todoist has strong security functions that keeps my personal data secure and private.

Todoist has seen me improve on my work output and delivery by helping me get more productive. It allows me to keep my tasks in shape which help ensure am doing the right task at the right moment.

Todoist also makes it easy to prioritize my tasks which allows me to attend on the most demanding tasks when am more productive. I also like how it allows me to manage both my personal tasks as well our team tasks from the same platform.
Cons:
Todoist is yet to show me anything to like least. It has answered every question i have had and met all my needs.
Todoist Review
Comments: Wonderful addition to using a calendar to stay on task throughout the day.
Pros:
Great all-around way to stay on task throughout the day.
Cons:
There was not anything that I did not like about todoist
The best to do list app
Comments: Todoist is simple, easy to use and powerful! I was looking for an app to use to capture my everyday to do list items for work and todoist suited my needs perfectly. I've recommended Todoist to my whole team!
Pros:
The upcoming view is my to-go so I can see my todo list for the week and any overdue tasks. Being able to make tasks reoccuring is 1 of my favourite features. The mobile app is great for adding items while on the go.
Cons:
I don't have many cons about using Todoist so far. My only con would be only wanting 1 way sync with my calendar. I think with the recent upgrade, the only option now is 2 way.
The most used productivity tool
Comments: It is great for task management, accomplishing goals, organizing projects etc.
Pros:
It is an amazing take managing app! I can access my tasks from all major platforms. I can easily add tasks, assign labels, add schedules etc. Especially 1-3-5 rules are very impressive. Splitting my tasks to one large task, three medium tasks and five small tasks is really helpful to apply for productivity.
Cons:
It could have advanced features like time tracking. And it would be great if I can integrate with other Todoist accounts. For teamwork coordination it would be better to be connected.
Intuitive product, quick to implement
Comments: I'm a proud premium member because the software does its job and doesn't get in my way. I use it for both my work and personal tasks, but separating the two out is really simple to do.
Pros:
I've tried dozens of systems for my day-to-day tasks, and finally landed on Todoist a couple years ago. The natural language processing for entering in tasks makes it easy to type something in using the iOS app and pick up where I left off later on my Mac. Typing in a date automatically adds the date information, which means I can just type "add photo to new blog post tomorrow" and have the task on tomorrow's list without having to fiddle in menus. As they say, it just works.
Cons:
Things that "just work" tend to have their little nuances that mean sometimes it doesn't just work. Todoist is constantly pushing out updates behind the scenes through their server back-end, which means you're always on the latest version of the software even if you don't update the client software. Sometimes that means they move too fast and break things. There have been multiple occasions where the software suddenly doesn't work as expected and I have to wait a couple hours for them to push out a fix. Perhaps their testing procedures will meet enterprise expectations eventually, but this is normal for cloud services these days...

The perfect tool for keeping your to-do list organized
Comments: I use ToDoist to keep track of tasks sent to me by clients. I don't use it for project management, extensive notes, or workflow so much as a simple to-do list of projects that need to be completed. Sometimes you don't need to write a lot of details - you just need to be sure you do the task and todoist is the best software I have found for that. Love it!
Pros:
I love how it's a no frills to-do list I can access on my computer and phone. I love being able to set up different projects, due dates, and sub tasks. It also helps me with my EOM invoicing so I know what I did for each client.
Cons:
I wish I could get more features for free. The comment feature and ability to set reminders look great. Although, Todoist does send me an email every day letting me know what's on my list, so that is very helpful even without reminders.
Alternatives Considered:
Get things done in style!
Comments: I have become a ToDoist advocate and highly promote ToDoist to everyone I work with. My clients have now started to share projects with me and 1:1 collaboration is in place with as many team members that I need to work with.
Pros:
ToDoist has been amazing! It's so simple to create shared projects and collaborate in tasks. Start by getting your team together to offload all the clutter from their minds and organise this into manageable workflows. ToDoist has been great in reducing email, converse more in person and use the comment feature to communicate on each individual task.
Cons:
I can't find any faults with it in all the years I've been using it. It's amazing!
Alternatives Considered:
Todoist is a powerful, intuitive to-do list application with many features & only a few flaws
Comments: Overall, Todoist has been a life-saver, allowing me to simplify my work life and organize the numerous projects & tasks I have to juggle. While it can be complicated at times and lacks certain features I would love to see, it is the best project management app I've ever used, and I would sorely miss it if Todoist were to be shut down.
Pros:
Todoist has simplified my work life - helping to organize all my tasks, projects, and meetings in a simple way that ensures no project is missed. While there is a bit of a learning curve to figure out how to best utilize & organize the platform, the simplicity of it's core features makes it easy for anyone to pick up and use. You are able to hop on their website or app and add a task in an instant; with the ability to schedule the due date, priority, and set it up in a specific project very quickly using their shortcuts. With their team collaboration features, you are also able to assign specific tasks to specific people, allowing for quick and ease collaboration and project management. Plus, Todoist offers numerous templates that help facilitate setup, and a very simple "Karma" rewards system that helps encourage use (and helps make you feel accomplished).
Cons:
Todoist offers numerous systems, but unfortunately it can be a bit of a learning curve to learn all the shortcuts (especially when they change periodically) and an effective way to organize the projects & tags. As well, while they offer simple ways to import their templates and allow you to export templates of your own, they don't offer a simple cloud storage solution for those templates - so to load an exported template, you need to download it, keep it, and reupload it when needed. Lastly, they lack the ability to setup certain types of tasks; such as a task with subtasks that all repeat weekly - currently you can schedule them all to happen each week, but the subtasks end up getting listed as full tasks on the due date.
Get organized with Todoist
Comments: I need a simple software that i can relied on to managing my days, and Todoist is the best option for that objective. It can be connected or integrated with Google Assistant which will remind me of my event on my calendar with it voice.
Pros:
The best thing that i really like is it can be access from various device and no need to install the software into the device. I use it as my organizer to schedule, remind and organized all my daily task and to-do list, either for my work task or for my personal task. It is not packed with feature like other project management software, but still can get the work done.
Cons:
It lacked of feature that i need and sometimes it is quite frustrating and i have to using other software to get it done. Other than that, It is very helpful in reminding and scheduling my day and not too expensive to subscribing its premium plan.
A Great Way to Keep Yourself Organized and Productive
Comments: It has a lot of wiggle room. Jobs may be broken down into smaller tasks, and each task can be scheduled. Custom categories can be created by you. On the go, there's an app to keep track of things. Has access to a wide range of equipment. And you'll get daily email reminders, with a lot of encouragement, as well.
Pros:
Todoist is a simple task management tool. Todoist may be accessed from a variety of devices. There are two ways to access it: online and on the go. User satisfaction will be enhanced by the fact that data is synchronized and may be modified simply. Managing task lists is a breeze because to the user-friendly layout, which makes it easy to find the most important features. It is possible to prioritize activities in Todoist, as well as add comments to each job and estimate the amount of time it will take to finish it.
Cons:
You have to keep going and be aggressive in order to succeed. A to-do list might start to feel like simply another thing to check off your list if you aren't actively interested in it. That's not Todoist's fault, though. But if you're serious about utilizing it, you'll need to put in the time and effort.
The best task manager I've used; and it keeps getting better
Comments: Really good. I liked it at the start. And they continue to add more features.I can email tasks to my app. I can share sections of the app with others.
Pros:
It is that rare combination of full-featured and SO easy to use.If you want to add a project, you go to the project list, right click, and choose "Add a Project."A dialogue shows up to let you add a task. You can type in "Turn in report Tues at 3 p.m." and you'll get task added that has a deadline right when you wanted. Or set up a board and track projects through stages. You can also set up sub projects and sub tasks for each task.It will tell you all the tasks due today, tomorrow, overdue, whatever timing you indicate.
Cons:
You can't do dependencies. It's not great at telling you how long your project will take. You can schedule tasks way out in the future. But you can't rely on Todoist to add up the time of subtasks to tell you how long the entire task will take.
Alternatives Considered:
Not enough integration in Todoist
Comments: I used to for both personal and bussiness needs for a few moths. But as my bussiness grow and i wanted to manage my personal tasks more consistently, i needed integration with other software. Since Todoist did not provide enough integration options, i had to switch to other software.
Pros:
Elegant design, speed and some intuitive, easy to learn features in the field of task and project managment,
Cons:
It doesn't have enough integration with other softwares. Since I can't reasonably connect it to my e-mail, my calendar, my notes taking app, the value of Todoist drops down.
Simple tools, but effective
Comments: Staying focus on task in hand and know which task needed to be complete first help me to expedite my work load and keep everything is in order within the time frame. It has help with my time managing and i would love to recommend Todoist to every team to try it.
Pros:
Using Todoist to managing daily task and to-do list and to automatically notify me of my pending task is very easy to do with this software. Todoist really simplifying my work process and letting me to planning my work and task for the next 7 days. Delegating task in project to my team members can be done simply by giving them access to the project.
Cons:
I will be ineffective to execute a complex project with Todoist, as they are missing some critical project management feature like agile kanban board that i need for collaborating project cross department. The emojis in the chat is not necessarily useful and should be replace with other useful feature.
Alternatives Considered:
Never Forget a Thing and Get it Done
Pros:
I love how intuitive and pretty the interface is, meaning, that I am not discouraged or afraid to open the software. The most important feature is definitely the natural language processing that is extremely intuitive and understand what I try to do.
Cons:
If you are bilingual or write tasks in multiple languages, the software may become confused.
Streamlined Planning on All Devices
Comments: I used Todoist a few years back and loved it. I then switched to a different platform for one reason or another, but ended up coming back to Todoist for its ease of use and ability to have recurring tasks. I use it for my personal tasks as well as for my business tasks.
Pros:
I use Todoist for both my personal task manager as well as my business task manager. I'm a work-from-home mom with a growing business and I like that I can seamlessly use this for ANY task I need to complete. I am able to put household chores, personal projects and work projects all in one. It allows me to organize and categorize all of my to-dos I add. I love that I can have this on my desktop, tablet and phone and they seamlessly update constantly. It helps me know what needs to be done wherever I am. The other thing that I absolutely LOVE and saves me tons of time is that I can make some tasks recurring. I am able to add weekly, daily or monthly tasks to my to-do list. This has helped me so I never forget a task or skip doing things that come up just once in a while. When life gets really busy, and unexpected things come up I can easily change my tasks to a different due date. This makes a world of difference in actually getting my tasks done. Instead of having a to-do list a mile long, I can re-prioritize what I have left and add it to different days as needed.
Cons:
My only complaint is that I'm not able to see what I've checked off in the free version. Sometimes a task will get accidentally bumped and marked as done on my phone, and I have no way of going back to retrieve what it was without paying. The other thing I wish there was in this software was a way to add these items to my calendar. I use Google Calendars, and it would be really nice to be able to take a task and place it on my calendar schedule as well to keep my life super organized.

The Task Manager you'll actually want to use
Comments: My overall experience with Todoist is great. In search of more complex features, I tried many other alternatives, but in the end I found myself always coming back here. Its ease and pleasantness of use are something I cannot do without.
Pros:
I have tried tons of project management and task management solutions but this is by far my favorite. The interface is clear and simple to use, always responsive and reliable. My favorite feature? The automatic recognition of the task information from the entered text. This is literally the feature I want in every other project management platform and the one that always keeps me coming back to Todoist. The simplicity with which I can write "Do this tomorrow at 12:00 #projectname @label" and the system automatically puts everything in its place ... I can't help it.
Cons:
Although Todoist's greatest strength is its ease of use, in the professional world sometimes you feel the need for a few more features. A more granural sharing system, multi-step activity status management, different views for the activity list, gantt charts, etc.). There are many things that could be added and that many other more complete project management platforms offer.
As both a business owner + someone with a busy personal life, Todoist helps keep me on track!
Comments: ToDoist has allowed me to keep track of my endless list of to-dos across both my business and personal life.
Pros:
I've used several "To-Do" list apps in the past, but none of them have ever stuck, until ToDoist. What started as a way for me to keep track of work tasks quickly became my go-to app for keeping me honest with my never-ending list of to-dos both in business and personal life. The ability to create multiple to-do lists and share them with multiple (and unique) people sets us up for success and accountability. I also love being able to assign a task to somebody on the shared list and provide a due date for each individual task. I've also connected ToDoist to my Amazon Echo Dot, so I can ask support team to add items to my shopping list or tasks to my to-do list. When a task is completed and checked off by someone other than me, I love that I get a mobile push notification confirming that fact, in real time. Finally, having the app on my phone along with on my iMac makes for seamless use regardless of where I'm currently working. Overall, I've been very satisfied with ToDoist!
Cons:
There are some quirks to the program, but nothing that turns me off from using it. For example, each list is considered a "Project" and each project can have sub-categories. When adding a new task to a project, you are not given the option of a sub-category. Therefore, the task defaults to the bottom of the list. You then have to scroll to the bottom and drag/drop the task under the sub-category you want it to be in. I sometimes accidentally drop it in a fashion that it creates a sub-sub-category and then I have to manually change everything in that sub-category back over. I also have not found value to the Productivity Score I am given on a daily basis, along with a lifetime score. I appreciate the psychological benefit of game-ifying your to-do list, but it's just not something I find necessary.
Optimal choiice
Comments: I adopted Todoist as my task management tool for many years. I adopted the Premium plan starting from 2014, and never changed.functionalitie
Pros:
Ease of use, availability og keyboard shortcuts for task creation. Features are really rich, especially in the cheap Premium plan. Tasks can be assigned to project and easily prioritized by means of the user interface or by keyboard combinations (e.g. p1 assigns priority 1, #work assigns the task to project work, and so on). Filters are a powerful feature. I usually create a specific filter for each week with ease, so that I can check if I completed my tasks for the week. An useful feature for project management s the availability of sub-tasks. Can be integrated with a bunch of other apps. I personally adopted the integration with Google calendar and IFTTT so that an event in Calendar becomes a task in Todoist, and/or vice-versa. The user can also list all the completed activities.
Cons:
Considering the completeness of the features, it is difficult to think about further improvements.
Your personal assistant everyday, everywhere || Best portable task manager
Pros:
*Flexibility You can use browser, android, ios, windows, mac device, apple watch, android wear or even use a gmail or outlook. Todoist is right there for you. *UI It has the most welcoming UI of all todo managers. Of course, tastes are different. But I believe, no-one would disagree that Todoist is well made and developed with Love. *Scalability and features No being a full scale CRM does not stop Todoist from having everything you might want to have for your everyday simple lists, reminders and tasks. Todoist offers such features as a great approach to structure of tasks, flawless work on the prioritizing tasks and creating simple lists. *Integrations and little things Todoist offers a broad range of features out of the box, such as projects, links as tasks, scheduling and calendar integration. You always forget to pick up or buy something. Or want to prepare for the day by creating a simple todo - this app is for YOU.
Cons:
1. More integrations needed. First of all calendars - at the moment the work there is mostly messy and is not optimized. It would be nice to have it in a compact and comfortable tab (calendar tab) and also add calendars on the go and display tasks or meeting in todoist. That would be a huge leap ahead. 2. Pricing of Todoist is not smart, to my humble opinion. First of all, they don't offer monthly payments, why not? Yes, I agree it's cheaper to pay for a year. But what if I am not sure. There are many todo apps and the pricing might be the only thing that would stop people from using todoist constantly, students for example. Would it not be nice to have more flexibility and options there.
