Easy to use event creation/tracking!

Comments: EventCreate helps our company create events and track them. It also give our employees and customers a way to look at all of the event details beforehand! It helps track attendees, send reminders automatically, create templates and so much more! This product takes out a lot of manual work - you can run reports of attendees who have and have not RSVP's, you can add custom questions to the RSVP such as dietary restrictions and those will show up on your reports as well. It's simple to use and our employees love it!

Pros:

EventCreate is user friendly and gives you a space for all of your event needs. It's versatile so that you can host different types of events, but you can keep track of everything in one place. You can customize it as much or as little as you want. I love using this site! I really like the RSVP feature for attendees as well as the fact that you can customize the website with location, hotels, images, and more.

Cons:

There are some features that could be updated/modified to give more customization options. Like page layouts, colors and photos. There are some features that are amazing, but at the same time are difficult to find every check box to use the feature, so you can get lost or confused in trying to figure out how to set something up a certain way. When setting up your event, there are several tabs and under each tab are many options/checkboxes which is great, but can be tedious and you need to double check everything to ensure it's all exactly how you want it!

Great website & invitation generator with rsvp management

Comments: Mostly a very good experience but futzed with the title box of the website too much trying to get it correct before finally giving up and using a stock photo. I did really like the fact it was easy to upload photos and I could use one to personalize the invitation email.

Pros:

I liked the ability to create a unique website, rsvp management, and the checklist. I also like the fact that you can upload your own photos to use for the website AND email.

Cons:

I intensely disliked the fact that I couldn't move the title of the website within the "box" of the picture/area. I wanted to use a picture of my husband in front of a traditional Japanese tea house while he was in Japan on business but I could only change the spacing, not the actual placement, of the title. Because there were boxes of whiteness in the picture, that were consequently reflected in the pond the tea house was sitting over, I needed the title to be at the very bottom right-hand part of the "Title" box. If I changed the spacing it made the picture do weird things when viewed. I would have liked to be able to treat the text as a true text box and move it around where I needed it to be. I'd also like to be reminded if I want to send an email when after a .cvs file is uploaded. (I uploaded the file, checked everything out and then completely forgot to actually send the email.)

Alternatives Considered: Evite

Reasons for Switching to EventCreate: It was actually less expensive. I did like the look of the Evite invitation that would have been sent, BUT with that being said, it wouldn't have been personalized like the one I was able to do with EventCreate. (And the answer to the very last question, I was the only one using EventCreate to implement, and use, the software. But, my son's girlfriend is the Director of Annual Giving at one of the many colleges here in Atlanta and she is going to check it out. Unfortunately, the weird spacing and coloring that happened on the test email I sent her that I couldn't change is probably a no-go for her.)

Amazing experience

Comments: Amazing experience so far, and have recommended it to multiple people

Pros:

How easy it is to keep track of rsvps from people

Cons:

In all honesty I have nothing negative to say about eventcreate

Event Create doesn't seem to like small not for profit orgs

Comments: Frustrating and anxiety producing. We have wasted a week trying to satisfy faceless email queries.
"Your almost there" from Stripe and another email comes asking for more!

Pros:

We saw it working well at another local event

Cons:

Impossible for a small non profit to meet critira of credit company AND NO WAY TO TALK TO ANYONE!

Love EventCreate for our City Events

Comments: Really have enjoyed all of the amazing things it can do. Hope there are add ons to be able to make the pages a little more customizable.

Pros:

The ease of usage. Creating all our year events and making it easier for our customers/guests to get their tickets. or even as survey forms.

Cons:

Not having a way to make it to have more tickets if they purchased one table. Not good when the individual tickets on a table cost more than the individual tickets. Just deters buyers from wanting tables.

EventCreate: Do yourself a favor and use it.

Comments: This site has made our event possible. Our small nonprofit would not be able to hold its event without it. I had no problem learning the system used to create the event website. The online purchasing and ticket tracking system is absolutely stellar. Overall, it has been a joy to find all the things we needed located in one site. We will use again.

Pros:

This site's capabilities, ease of use and affordability are the best around. After researching for some time, it was by far the best in all three aspects. Our nonprofit will use it for all future events that require registration, online payments and ticketing. It's an amazing site full of incredibly useful functions.

Cons:

I'm not certain what to say here because I didn't really find a con. I think if there were more options for the website building aspect, maybe that would help. However, it has all the pieces we absolutely had to have. if there were a "third of a page" item option for maps, that might be good.

Great for Events Management

Pros:

EventCreate was my top choice for event management as It offers all the essential tools for planning, attendance management, and RSVPs. With its intuitive interface, robust attendance tracking, and easy RSVP management, EventCreate streamlines the entire process, making it my go-to solution for seamless event coordination.

Cons:

The initial plan for monthly payments starts at 39usd, there could be better affordable options for non-business users with specific events needs.

Eventbrite Converter - Love the White Glove Customizability!

Comments: Very positive! It is super customizable and looks professional / sleek. The check-out screen is also very sleek for customers.

Pros:

The sleek look / ease of editing the check-out page. It is so easy to use and you can customize nearly everything.

Cons:

That there is not an undo button when editing the site.

Great site for graduation invites

Comments: It took me awhile to get everything just like I wanted and I had a few struggles, but it was free to start with. This site is a great idea and I love that I can monitor the attendees.

Pros:

Being able to design the page and select colors, fonts, etc. Adding pictures to the page was a definite plus.

Cons:

Trying to add pictures. Add background image seems to have two meanings. One is a picture behind everything which is truly a background image and the other is just adding a picture even though it also called the function add a background image. This was super confusing.

Alternatives Considered: Evite

Reasons for Switching to EventCreate: There were more design capabilities and I didn't care for the backgrounds available.

A Refreshing Experience...

Comments: Great experience. I would recommend it. and I did to the people to signed up.

Pros:

I like that the invite was a website. I could use the flyer image that I created. Most sites will not allow that without an immediate upgrade.

Cons:

It took a little time to understand how to make all of my image to show without it being cutoff. I consider myself savvy but I figured it out after spending more time to review the functionality.

Already Impressed!

Pros:

It is extremely user friendly. I am only just starting to work on an event on EventCreate and I am flying through the design process. I'm really impressed at how easy it is!

Cons:

I don't like that there isn't a phone number to directly reach someone in customer support if I have questions. I haven't needed to do that yet, but I'd like the option to be there.

New User is Impressed!

Comments: Extremely easy and full of options. I still have a few things to add such as payment information. I’ve reviewed it and it’s going to be simple.

Pros:

This website is so easy to use and to get it to the place where you wanted it to be. I spent less than two hours getting it all together, sending out test invitations, and checking out how it looks to responders. I think it is amazing. I am very confident with technology, but still find difficulty with many options out there: This website is easy and really extensive in what you can do

Cons:

This is a very simple thing! Sometimes I’m still trying to figure out how to get into editing the website when I’ve been Reviewing it on the web! It is actually pretty easy! But since I really only worked on it for two hours, I still get a little confused! No big deal!

One time Event

Pros:

The least expensive level was enough for me to do most of the things I needed. I did have to upgrade to the second level, but my event was a unique one. It took me awhile to set up, but it was easy to go through. The customizations for my event made it look polished and professional and there were plenty of options to make it look personal. I was proud to publish it once everything was in place. You can tell the company took their time to not only make it as user friendly as possible, but they also seemed to have thought of everything you would need to plan, manage and administer a well thought out event. I would highly recommend this service to anyone looking to find an affordable, well thought out, all encompassing way to showcase their business or event.

Cons:

I signed up for the lowest level and trial, then continued working on my ticketing options. But when I needed to add more options for tickets, I had to upgrade again, and my “free trial” immediately ended, which then charged me the fullest next level right away. I ended up cancelling the first subscription, then had to go back in and signup for the second level so I could get the free trial incentive. It would be nice if the ticketing options were somehow communicated ahead of time so the user isn’t thinking they’re finishing up, and then surprised with a pop up saying you can’t do that unless you upgrade.

2024 Gilliam Family Reunion

Comments: Love this product. I perform proof of concept on many new applications in my profession and often test features required. Before purchasing this one, I tested a few others and none of them provided the features I required with as much ease of use.

Pros:

Easy to use and easy to deploy. This is a good value for the yearly subscription price. I like being able to upload files instead of creating from scratch in the application.

Cons:

I needed the ability to move section headers. I also would like the content sections to be resizable. The photo gallery need more separation between pictures and caption visible in the gallery. I would have liked the option to purchase 1, 3, 6, or 9 months. I plan to use this website I created for 4 months but it was cheaper to buy a year than pay monthly.

EventCreate is quick and easy!

Comments: It's been a great experience thus far; waiting for my attendees to RSVP, but so far, it's been quick, easy to use and fun to create my event.

Pros:

It was quick to sign up, easy to navigate and understand how to use it; very user friendly experience; and intuitive when creating my event.

Cons:

Having to pay and so many upgrades to add on questions with my attendees when rsvp'ing.

For personal or Company needs

Pros:

the site offers great features for attendee management and allows for a great deal of customization features. the ease of use of these features is what I liked the most, you get the hang of all the tools within the first couple minutes of use

Cons:

The fact that it requires the attendees emails

AMAZING WEBSITE!

Its easy to find your way through the website and use the features you need.

It doesn’t save your projects automatically so if you’re device dies or something happens everything will erase so unfortunately you may have to restart and go over a few things.

Great Event Management Solution

Comments: Excellent and easy to use. The moment it is set up, you are good to go! And it’s very easy to set up thereafter!!

Pros:

Ease of use. Powerful features. Great functionalities.

Certain items cannot be customised (eg. Basic core items for form building)

Variety and ease

Pros:

I like the simplicity of setup. While there are many options to make your event/site customizable, none of them are difficult to use or adjust. And the import feature on invites was just a bonus.

Cons:

Future I would think maybe the option for background music when visiting the created event site would be nice.

Easy to use and launch

Pros:

I needed this for an event to track RSVPs and dinner choices. EventCreate made it super easy for me to do this.

Cons:

Nothing to note here - EventCreate was userfriendly and customizeable

I have enjoyed the user friendliness of EventCreate. The ability to build a site and accept payments all in one has been an amazing thing. I also build it in a matter of 2 hours max.

Cons:

Really no cons just yet. If I had to list one it would probably be the functionality of the app with the site.

Slick interface, customizable in the right ways, yet simple enough to master in minutes.

Pricing was sort of buried, but once I got to that part, I was already hooked on features, so touche' Product Team, touche.

Baby Shower Planning

Comments: It was such a fun time making the RSVP setup for my daughters baby shower.

Pros:

How it was so easy to make a website. Also love how it is a template and practically walks you through on how to make whatever you are making.

Cons:

I loved it all. I honestly do not have anything bad to say at all.
