The Platform I've Always Needed

Pros:

It's the exact system I need for my membership. I wanted to create a Netflix for podcasters, and even built out a version one on top of WordPress. But Uscreen does everything I need it to do and more. It was a no-brainer for me to switch.

Cons:

I'd love an importer for Vimeo to Uscreen, and the ability to make some videos public and embeddable on other websites.

Six Years Strong and Still Love It

Comments: Very positive, especially their tech support.

Pros:

We have the options we needs to tailor our user experience and sell what and how we want to. Their tech support is amazing, and the platform has been virtually glitch-free for us.

Cons:

Disappointed when they ended Vimeo storage integration.

Comments: Migration was the biggest headache I’ve ever encountered. The Apps and Webs team were disconnected and virtually no communication leaving a lot to error. Support queries take days, hours, and weeks. Their staff take the weekend off and sign-off after 5pm. If something happens after hours or over the weekend don’t count on it being addressed. You can guarantee to lose business in the transfer, especially from Web subscribers. Uscreen says that a Stripe migration is ‘simple’, but it’s far more complex than they lead you to believe. From a platform perspective:
Uscreen’s perks are the calendar and Community, however Vimeo customers will have complaints about that — and when you try to raise these issues with the AI Bot that Uscreen uses for Support — they go nowhere.
They have an alleged “feature request” button where you can request things like different roles for your employees/team, a deep dive into customer information, but they never go anywhere, and don’t count on a Uscreen employee reaching out to you to confirm receipt or even discuss potential changes to their system that could be beneficial (and not to mention, compete with their largest competitor - Vimeo.) All in all, if you’re thinking about doing it. Don’t.

Pros:

Some features are nice: Calendar & Community, but that's about it.

Cons:

- Poor support. - Employees who aren't bots seem overworked and not enthusiastic about their work. - The migration process was far from seamless. - Content management requires additional steps: For example, you cannot simply 'delete' a video from a Category. And you can't have a Collection within a Collection.

Comments: I've moved my movement platform to Uscreen from Kajabi after experiencing how much it would improve the user experience of my members. The Uscreen team is dynamic and dedicated - updates are frequent and the community can submit feature requests freely. The way the sites and apps are build is well optimised for video content. From features like filters, playlists, livestream to well designed forum, I believe Usceen has really helped my business flourish. The customer support is also faster than in any other service I've used.

Pros:

- Fast support response times - In built apps for iOS and Android - Filtering and playlist system for videos - Community forum for my members - Clear admin system

Cons:

- No localised currencies - No paid trial option - Internal livestream software has been hit and miss so far - Minimal customisation options for in built marketing features

-Second to none customer service -Consistently improving the product based on feedback -Easy to use interface for both the creator and user -While things rarely "break" if they do Uscreen is so quick to fix it -The Membership+ portal is a fantastic resource for learning from other successful creators

According to my SEO specialist I hired the analytics section has a bit of room to grow in terms of the amount of data and user friendliness on the back end.

Comments: My overall experience is positive. I think it's a great website for companies to offer to their employees that acts as a training video platform. It's especially helpful for companies with multiple types/styles of training videos because Uscreen allows you to categorize them as needed as well as provides data for user engagement.

Pros:

The ability to review usage. It is important data that enables our team to see who is actively watching videos and how engaging each video is. The ability to track user engagement allows us to determine what kind of videos our coworkers are viewing over others. That provides additional data on how we can improve our training videos are what are users are looking for.

Cons:

The display of all the videos, it would be nice to go into a specific category and only see the videos available on full screen to effectively find what video you are looking for. I do not enjoy the scroll right feature and I believe that videos can be overlooked in this design, especially if you have a lot of videos.

Comments: Overall I'm very happy w/ my uscreen experience. I transferred from creating my own site w/ a LOT of custom wordpress add ons to uscreen. It has been a solid product. They are always listening to their members and I feel very supported.

Pros:

Product works well. It takes away all the tech work from building a membership site I can focus on my content. Customer support is top! It feels like a family and I feel very supported even if I know I'm not their biggest client. They are listening to their users and their community. They are always engaging with us. I am also able to connect w/ other like minded members.

Cons:

Analytics in terms of where I got sign ups from (google, instagram etc) are hard to come by. Google Analytics integration could be more seamless and have someone to help us with making sure it was done right. Right now when I go live, the URL doesn't save and I have to create a completely different piece of content for the "recorded video"

Comments: Uscreen is allowing my fitness company to be an on-demand subscription service that I did not offer before.

Pros:

I have been looking for a video monetization company for a long time. After, getting demos and trying out multiple companies I found that Uscreen had a the best features and was most cost efficient for my initial launch of my business online. Here are a few reasons I like Uscreen: - Affordable - Great template options - Very user friendly - Marketing support - Great customer service One of the BEST parts of working with Uscreen is their customer service. They assign a team member to help you get started and then multiple team members have always helped on different days and times to make sure I have my questions answered.

Cons:

The one thing I wish Uscreen had, are additional website pages that are customizable. However, I spoke with a customer service representative and this feature is going to be added. They listen to their customers and create what we need. Keep it up Uscreen!

Comments: It's a fantastic way for us to grow our audience and brand awareness beyond just the central cities of NZ, it's meant we can expand to more rural areas.

Pros:

A fantastic user interface, great that you can geo-block and their comprehensive CDN has meant reliable content delivery to our audience. We like that they are continually working on improving and updating the front and backend as well as the apps.

Cons:

The navigation bar still displays 'Home' once the user has signed-in but they can't actually go back to the landing page once signed-in and it looks confusing.

Super easy to make your own highly converting professional looking VOD platform

Comments: On their website I saw there were some big content creators jumping on the Uscreen bandwagon which made me give them a try. Building the platform was very smooth, the builder tool works like a charm and they use liquid code which is comparable to what Shopify uses and makes custom tweaks easy.
As we offer content from our partners it was very important to make sure they loved the look & feel of the platform and felt their content is in safe hands, this is definitely the feedback we receive.
The checkout is ultra fast and we see this in our conversion rates. I have nothing but great experiences with the amazing people that work for Uscreen, all very kind and capable. The way you can organise content is great, basically you can create collections of videos. These can be offered as a single purchase but can also be included in a subscription or even a one time purchase bundle of different collections combined. This structure makes it easy and flexible to offer the right value. The developers at Uscreen are constantly adding new features and the best thing is that they prioritise new features by what the Uscreen users ask. The pricing is very clear and fair which is the opposite of my experiences with VIMEO where they take a massive chunk of earnings. All in all we are very happy using Uscreen for our VOD platform. If you don't have the resources to invest in your own custom platform built from scratch, I would definitely recommend going with them.

Pros:

- easy to build / understand / update and maintain - offers single purchases + subscriptions - professional look - fast and converting checkout - great customer support - ability to organise and monetise content properly - high development rate - transparant and fair fees

Cons:

As an EU user it would be great to have some more payment options (SEPA / iDeal etc.) that fit better for customers here and give you the option to avoid the high PayPal fees. I have been assured this is something they are working on.

Comments: Since integrating Uscreen into my IG Content Club in July, the experience has been incredible. The platform's user-friendly interface and visually appealing layout make content management a breeze. My members have expressed immense satisfaction, particularly with the convenient access to content through the mobile app. Uscreen's customer success team deserves special mention for their exceptional support, making my journey from onboarding to regular check-ins smooth and hassle-free. Moreover, the addition of live streaming services has greatly enhanced our offerings, and the responsiveness of the customer support team during any issues has been commendable. Uscreen has truly redefined our content delivery experience.

Pros:

Dashboard and backend, customer support and customer success teams, content management, live stream functionalities, and community!

Cons:

It's not a dislike, but it would be great if besides just hosting videos we could host products. In my membership I give access to other resources like templates, prompts, etc and there is nowhere to share this without having to create a video!

Comments: What makes Uscreen great is the people that work there. Every single one of them have been great, gave me great advise and went out of there way to solve problems.

Pros:

Uscreen can pretty much do everything. It takes a little while getting used to it but when you do it's such a powerful tool. It has made such an impact on my life.

Cons:

They don't have multi-currency this has really prevented us taking clients on from other countries.

A solution to our problems!

Comments: It's been really good to have all of our tech issues handed over to someone else. The jump to the apps however is a big leap so that's been a bit frustrating.

Pros:

U-Screen had all the features our customers wanted. Better organization of videos. Favorites Section. Recently watched section. When we had our own site we spent too much time fixing tech issues and not enough time focusing on our members.

Cons:

I would like the ability to do a $1 trail or to have one click upsells in the sales funnel.

Great to work with!

Pros:

We moved to UScreen because we wanted to be able to have more customization on our VOD platform, and be able to respond to our customers better. UScreen has great customization, and is always rolling out new features that really benefit us as a small business. What we love most is that we get to talk to real people who help us develop our apps, answer our questions, and help us find the right way to continue to grow our business! We've been really happy since making the switch and look forward to watching UScreen continue to grow!

Cons:

We are missing some of the analytics that we've had with previous companies, but UScreen has taken our suggestion and is implementing updates to alleviate this issue.

Great product for creators

Pros:

I've been with Uscreen for the last few months and it's been a game changing experience for me. From their technology to their team, everything is delivered at a high level and as an entrepreneur with little employee support, I've been able to significantly amplify my output by working with them. I love the marketing and outreach tools that are integrated into their product experience. My customer success manager is great too - she's been helping me evolve as a marketer. Definitely recommend checking Uscreen out if you're a creator or small business that's looking to create community and monetize content.

Cons:

I didn't know that the Uscreen logo would be on my app when it launched. The team could have been more clear about this in the sales process.
