Great product
Comments:
We were looking for a local solution with better support when required, the support over the trial process was great, I was able to get answers to questions and was lots offered support to help me get going, with that in mind the setup was straight forward little support was needed.
We looked at Sine with the view that we could use to check in/out staff at a later date (via the app), helping us keep track of who is on/off site in emergency situations, the SMS function is a great way to also assist here for unaccounted visitors
Pros:
Simple to setup and get operational and simple to use from the end point, The App for signing in works a treat for our contractors, also the email alerts when their is an issue like the printer stops helps us be proactive to fix. overall very easy to setup and deploy Recommend checking it out.
Cons:
Jump in price between the Medium and Enterprise, another level for "large" I feel would be a good idea. for now the medium plan works for us, so not an issue, bulk SMS is another feature I would like to see in the future
Feeling safer already!
Pros:
We've been using Sine for about six months now, and have mostly great reactions to report. The ease of use and universality of the iPad is one of my favorite things, as it didn't take much at all to get used to and the iPad could serve us multiple purposes. We have been utilizing the name badge printer on a daily basis as well. Sine has overall improved our visitor management and given us a much-needed peace of mind.
Cons:
We do wish that the printer was more user-friendly; we can't connect it to our wi-fi since we require usernames and passwords, and therefore have had a harder time setting the printer up manually. Maybe in the future, colored badges would be an option, since the lighting isn't always the best and some of our black-and-white badges either wash out or appear too dark. In general, I will say Sine is very easy to use and the customer service is very responsive.

Comments: Some people visiting say question in contractors field a bit complex - also floor level only allows level 1 entry details. Stylus pen does not work on panel well.
Pros:
Its ok, but don't know why we still also have to fill in paper based registers as well. Doubling up of workload. Needs area for card numbers to be placed by visitors, so we can reconcile card audit at end of day.
Cons:
Some people have put details in and when go to use it again details not there, so they have to restart again whole process. Seems to happen at times after a software update.

Easy setup and great functionality
Comments: Sine have been good to work with on initial setup and are easy to reach when needed. I have been disappointed that they dismiss our dashboard requirements as this is functionality that is standard with every other offering I have used.
Pros:
Very quick and easy to setup. Interface looks good and i've found functionality to be better than the alternatives.
Cons:
We need a customer visible dashboard to display number of people on-site which Sine cannot do and they don't have it on their roadmap. Talking to them about adding this basic functionality has not yielded positive results.

Pros:
Very easy to implement and customise - highly rate how helpful the team was in getting this deployed quickly as part of our Covid response plan.
Cons:
Everything works well. Some extra customisation would be nice but not essential.

The software updates don't self update and even though I pay for device management this is a waste of money and not a helpful feature. Needs to be greatly improved.

The perfect solution to manage visitors easily and safely
Comments: The security it offers is also a highlight. Health screens ensure that only people in good condition are allowed access, which has been especially relevant in current times.
Pros:
The user interface is intuitive and friendly, making it easy for both visitors and myself to sign up and create credentials. Whether they're using an iPad or their own smartphone, the process is quick and hassle-free. In addition, the fact of being able to customize my company's brand on the platform gives it a professional and sophisticated touch.
Cons:
I wish there were more customization options in terms of appearance and system settings. While I can tailor the platform to my company's brand, I would like more flexibility to tailor the interface to my specific preferences and needs.

Works well for the money.
Pros:
Customer interface is sleek and represents our company well. Online management is a nice feature for hosts and admin.
Cons:
The formats for the administor to create the forms aren't user friendly or clear. System allows for only taking one picture. Takes a long time for each visitor to sign-in. Setting up the badge printer was not easy.

We are newer to program. Our employees love how it works.

Sine in Schools
Comments: Initial findings show the system is straightforward once it is configured, website is a great tool to see a snapshot of who is on site and it is a good way to get the same consistent information to all visitors, volunteers and contractors however it has not improved our ability to account for visitors in an emergency evacuation situation.
Pros:
The initial set up of visitor types was limited, we have added quite a few new categories and really like that we can add as many as we choose The categories added can address Student Protection requirements which is a positive i.e. one example is we have been able to add that a blue card is required for non-teaching relief staff We like that we have been able to add College maps, emergency procedures and other relevant information on the iPad
Cons:
Sine Pro App – when we tried using this we discovered another user close by was coming up as an option and we didn’t want people signing in here in error. The app also allows for visitors to be signed in without having to visit administration. We see this as having implications with student protections, and contractors entering areas or undertaking works without permission. We have disabled our site on the app so users cannot sign in through it and are not advising staff, visitors or volunteers that there is an app at this point in time Visitors categories – we have a number of visitors that have dual roles in the College i.e. relief staff and volunteers in their child’s classroom. It would be good to have them select visitor type when they put their mobile phone in as a returning visitor to ensure they are signed in correctly so we know what capacity they are here for - this is a big ticket item for us Emergency evacuation – this is quite ambiguous. If we have access to WiFi & power we can print out active passes however this may not always be possible in an emergency. We have decided locally that a selection of staff members will download the app on their phone and take this with them to the assembly point. We would be very interested to hear if there is a better option as much of the reason for signing in/out is to support emergency procedures
Sine Feedback
Comments: But OVERALL - this is by far!!!!! the best solution on the market. We have not had a strong method of tracking and identifying visitors to our pharmacies. This now maintains a perfect record, we can generate reports based on WHO is getting visitors, why type of visitors coming, and any vendors/maintenance people arrive and leave. NO MORE managing paper that no one fills out or is legible... THANK YOU SINE!!!
Pros:
This is a VERY easy to implement and manage. It saves TIME and ENERGY managing guests to our pharmacy. We have complete logs and the ability for repeat guests to enter a number or email address to reenter is very powerful. Many of our visitors and corporate office staff who visit us are highly impressed with the simplicity this system offers. It is by far the best we have looked at over other different solutions. The MOBILE phone app saves visitors time, scan the barcode and you are in. Send out appointments, have them use the app and you get notified when they are close to the office... AWESOME
Cons:
Wish there was a better customizable way to manage deliveries. We want to add a unit to manage delivery vendors but it is basically a push button - we have no idea on who the delivery is from as we need to track this. We still use paper for that. Would be nice to select DELIVERY and just as you have to select a host, you select your vendor name - and then we get an email time stamp when that courier made the delivery. We have times were we have had to verify a specific courier delivered...
Very satisfied
Comments: Great. As a technology company, Sine assists us by providing a professional first impression for visitors. The clear visitor interface is at least as efficient as the traditional sign-in book. Have noticed that the fixed-angle mount makes it difficult to accommodate people of different heights when taking a photo.
Pros:
This appears to be a very well and thoughtfully designed. Nicely crafted and deployed piece of software, across the board. Layout is sensible and logical, and information is easy to find. Well done! There is a very low barrier to user entry and usage. Functionality is very high: when we ran through testing different use-cases, in different ways, everything worked the way it said it would, the first time, instantly, and without issue across fixed and mobile platforms, and different OS. The user interfaces have been very well designed. Very, clean, uncluttered look and feel. Information is easy to find. Help videos and instructions are actually helpful, and are synched with the software version. Using the software is...enjoyable.
Cons:
On careful consideration, I have not found anything about the software that I do not like. Although not an issue with the software as such, we experienced a network loss at the same time as signing in a visitor, so couldn't complete the sign-in. So a suggestion might be to look in to how sign in could be completed or stored while the system is temporarily off-line.
Game-Changer for your Visitor Management Process
Comments: Overall Sine has been an incredible tool for our business, allowing us to tidy up our reception area and get rid of messy, time-consuming paperwork. I've been happy with the assistance I've received from staff and the system itself is excellent.
Pros:
It is so easy to use. It's really helpful that the sign-in process is very self-explanatory so I don't have to spend time explaining to those who are not tech-savvy. I also loved how easy it was to set up. I thought it would be much harder but the process is very straight forward and the helpdesk is available on chat for any questions.
Cons:
The only thing I don't like is that you cannot access a full list of visitors on site from within the app itself. This would make me feel more comfortable in the event of an emergency evacuation. At the moment you can only access this list via the web version, which requires prior knowledge. I would like this to be more obvious so that anyone could easily access this information.
Good system, functionality could be improved
Comments:
This system works well for what we require in our office space, but functionality of uploading host details could be improved as well as courier options on the system.
Overall the system is easy for visitors/staff/contractors to use, but for the administrators it can take a while to work the system to what we required.
Pros:
Ease of use for people visiting the office. Text messages being sent to hosts when visitors sign in.
Cons:
Uploading of host details can be slow and cumbersome, removal of mobile phone numbers when an updated list is uploaded. No courier sign in for parcels being dropped off.

Use it for Asthma Swim Program attendance tracking, screen children's asthma control and surveys.
Pros:
Easy to use Intuitive set up Support team happy to work with me through several different possible options to allow a family of siblings is entered each Saturday as quickly as possible. Support team fast acting through text, providing helpful links I could follow. Support team called to go through what became a more complex situation after first few solutions didn't work, and were able to talk to me without tech jargon. Love geo fence so families can't say they have attended when they haven't. Gave us space to work out how we could use the software without pressuring us about the invoice and interrupting our service while we did some trial and error. Parents love it. Fast track codes are great. QR codes are great, parents thought were really high tech savvy when we trialed those.
Cons:
I know the software is not designed to sign in multiple children who might be enrolled with one parent with one email and one mobile phone number. I get normally this would be used for an adult signing in to a location. On this basis it is great. For our purpose, not being able to log in once and for a parent to answer questions pertaining to each of their children is an issue. One potential option was for the number of visitor types to increase, so a family could log in to their own type where their check in form is customised for their children.

Excellent visitor tracking software
Comments: In event of an emergency, being able to remove the iPad we use to confirm all personnel are accounted for saves time and is more efficient than using paper based forms.
Pros:
Love the ease of use of this software, customer service assistance is amazing, very helpful and any issues are dealt with and rectified immediately. Presentations are easily uploaded for use.
Cons:
Presently I have not identified anything that I would consider a con the system is working for our needs.
Sine Review
Comments: Amazing. It's been so helpful & taken away a lot of headaches that parking used to bring for our security guards and receptionist (who does the billing). Thank you Sine!
Pros:
I LOVE the logs of visitors. I love that you can make notes for visitors to see OR NOT to see. I love that the search function allows you to search part of a name and narrows down the results. I truly love everything about it.
Cons:
I wish that we had a timestamp for each logged visitor, so we can see when visitors were input into the system. We have had a few occasions when we know the visitor wasn't in the system, but then magically was...... and we know they added them later but we can't "prove" it.
Sine Survey
Comments: We know who is on and off site at all times for our Emergency Action paln

Customer Service, Easy check in for employees and vendors, know who is onsite, ease of sending invitations
Cons:
Workflow was to expensive, vendors can check in and say yes they have had the orientation and be on site, At this time it is an honesty thing if they have had their annual orientation, difficult to upload documents into. Unable to grab a PDF and upload, cant make an excel sheet with names on it and upload all at once for record keeping
SINE introduction has been a great fit, easy to use and received well by users
Comments: With the manual system people did not want to use it - or did not complete the answers or put the information in the wrong spaces which meant you really didnt know who was in your building - with SINe - they have to complete to enter and you have clear concise information
Pros:
Sine is easy to use, for both the staff and visitors. It has options around manual check in, logging in at the SINE system and using your phone via the app. It is great when staff are busy, that visitors can just log in
Cons:
When you manually sign people in - they are not remembered in the system. It would be helpful if you manually enter them in that they are also remembered, We have had some instances of low battery, of the system not charging and this caused issues.

Thanks Carolyn for the feedback. As long as you have the iPad plugged in, it wont drain your battery faster than it charges, so we recommend leaving it plugged in and charging. If there's anything we can do to perhaps make your check-in forms simpler, we'll gladly recommend it. The beauty of Sine is it's an easy and intuitive touchscreen interface that your guests should be able to navigate through. Let us know specifically where they're getting stuck and we'll make some recommendations :)
Reasonably good software
Comments:
Expired site specific induction have no impact on visitor sign management. It means the system still allow people to sign in.
Having difficulties finding inducted people when their details do not match exactly as it is (mobile number and email) but they are inducted.

Check out our functionality on 'Invitation Required Mode' here. https://help.sine.co/knowledge-base/invitations/ This process will allow you to only approve check ins for contractors who have a valid site specific induction. It's working really well across lots of sites, and would work for you too. We're available on online chat, email and phone when you're free to discuss further.
User friendly
Pros:
Frees up the receptionist time with not having to announce visitors. Reception does not need to be manned when visitors enter.
Cons:
Every now and then it doesn't recognize a return visitor and all details need to be entered again, frustrating for the visitor.

Fantastic Visitor Solution
Pros:
Customer support is top notch! Every question and concern throughout our deployment has been answered quickly and accurately.
Cons:
There isn't really anything not to like about this software. Some improvements on kiosks, when your guest checks in it would be nice for the notification of which kiosk they checked in at. On our campus we have 6 kiosks, guests sometimes check in at the wrong building. It would be nice to have a location which kiosk was used.

Your software allows for NO customization. One size Does NOT Fit All!!
Comments: I learned to ask more specific questions up front and not to believe that there was really a team of techs to help support the product.
Pros:
Simple to use once installed. If your requirements are very simple and you don't have an IT department, this system can be a good solution.
Cons:
It allows for no customization. From the perspective of a large organization with multiple offices, having a customization program is important. The standard design for your badge is very poor. Having to put up with a head icon because we choose not to take a picture of the visitor is unacceptable. The client should either be able to design his own badge or you should have support to modify the design to meet the needs of the client.

i have had no issues using the SINE
Pros:
easy to use as a daily returning user, easy access to check on contractors and other team members, all information is easy to upload and the set up is great for each centre
Cons:
Overall there is no downside, the system does take a bit to load the information at the start, it would be great if once you started to type you number it remembered and finished for you
