ISN is indespensable for all home inspectors
Comments: ISN is a must have component of our business. The support staff is outstanding.
Pros:
The ease of administration is beyond reproach. Adding, editing, and removing users is very simple. ISN is THE one-stop-shop for all things inspection office related. It has saved us from being forced to hire office staff.
Cons:
The reporting is a little rigid and a little generalized for our liking. We are still able to extract all the data required but it would be much nicer to have a pre-formatted template instead of having to reinvent the wheel with several of our reports.

Tech support
Pros:
[sensitive content hidden] did an amazing job with technical support. He walked me through several different steps to get my problem solved. He gave me the appropriate links to do some of it myself, and what I couldn't do, he stepped up and handled for me.
Cons:
I wish ISN had a better scheduler. Once clients and agents set their inspection they are not able to make adjustments and have to call in anyways. I also wish the app had more info that can be filled out. We base our pricing on square footage and last I checked that wasn't on there. Also, I don't believe there was place for all the client info.
Beware! Not as good as they lead you to believe.
Comments: Started good...downhill from there. Our customers became irritated because they weren't getting their reports on time or because it was confusing on how to actually get the report from their ISN link and ,until we dropped Guardian (their preferred paymant company), customers had alot of frustration with the payment process.
Pros:
The process for ordering a new Insepction was pretty esay.
Cons:
Well it is a PORCH company so we should've known. Constant problems with getting our reports sent to the customer is one of the big ones! Then we put money into an account with them for their silly fees and low and behold when we decided to quit their program....those monies were now non-refundable. That's Porches M-O. We had the same thing happen when we used them for our constructon business years ago. Had we known it was a Porch company we would've went with a different company. One positive..we did have one great support person, shout out to [sensitive content hidden]!!
Best service I use
Comments: Great service for home inspectors, especially for someone who does not have an office staff.

I have been in the home inspection business for 26 years and I have been using ISN for the last 8 - 10 years. I think it is the best money I spend on my business. Keeps me organized and it is not difficult.

ISN is a Game Changer
Comments: Overall, we're very happy with ISN and the support we get from the company. We've doubled our appointments since using ISN. Well worth the monthly fees.
Pros:
We are completely grateful for this software. It's such a game changer for our company. We no longer cut and paste the same information across 4 different platforms / apps for ONE appointment. We no longer have to chase money, forget to send email confirmations, use paper to produce our schedule and all the appointments that day. ISN links to the software we use to create our inspection reports. We get to post the payments into our QuickBooks accounting software automatically with ISN. We have all our email needs taken care of - from confirmation to unpaid invoice reminders, to thanks for your business, to future emails checking in!!! The calendar is easy to view and utilize. Scheduling is a breeze once you get the hang of it. This software has made it possible to inspect three locations a day instead of two before we adopted the system. The support team for ISN is also terrific.
Cons:
There is a learning curve as there are so many parts to learn and understand how they all connect and interact with each other. But that's not really the software, it's the time needed to learn the software. There seemed to be minor glitches at the beginning, but once we learned the breadth of the application, turns out not to be glitches at all.

ISN is the top tier for scheduling but not for privacy or report writing
Comments: Overall I enjoyed working with ISN. The online staff were very helpful, especially [sensitive content hidden]. I like working with people who I remember and who remember me. I also prefer to work with people who have deep knowledge of their own company and are helpful. Overall ISN had a great staff, but the [sensitive content hidden] made a bad decision in letting it be bought by Porch. Mergers and Acquisitions can be bad too.
Pros:
The pros are scheduling. It can do almost anything and it includes users, not just inspectors. The overall platform is user-friendly and easy to navigate. The chat is easy to use and ISN is very responsive to questions and assisting. I love their calendar, one of the best I have ever seen.
Cons:
I like customization of anything, e it the Invoice template and information provided or details within things. There were several times that I couldn't customer or change client info or wording so that it displayed as such on the Invoice as a discount or used specific wording. That was frustrating. I don't think they are a report writing company either. It isn't a 1-stop shop. They offer scheduling software only. Many people like 1-stop shop, our business is no different. Lastly, they were bought by a company that most of us at our business do not want to have dealing with. That was the final nail in the coffin. We believe strongly in keeping clients information private and secure. It is not a data grab to reach people, ever.

New user of software
Comments: They were able to tag team the issue to help resolve it
Pros:
Very prom on helping find issue and help a new customer
Cons:
Do not have anything negative to say, issue was fixed
Lots of Bugs / Makes Us Look Bad, Very Expensive
Comments: Some things about ISN are okay, but they don't step up when the make a mistake and they seem to want to maximize their own profit at your expense. Along those lines, awhile back they announced that we had to use their payment processor no matter what. Once a bunch of companies started bailing, they reversed course, but it goes to show that they will do what makes them the most money, not what works best for the inspectors.
Pros:
Some features like limiting second appointments within a few miles of the first inspection is a great option (when it works).
Cons:
The system is very buggy and the administrators don't seem to care. We have had multiple instances of inspections being booked without our inspectors getting notifications. ISN researches the issue, finds a bug, and says they're working on it. No recognition is given for the fact that they made our company look bad (while we're paying them $6 an appointment for scheduling) nor to the fact that their buggy software is costing us time and money. Also, I would be extremely suspect of their reviews on this platform. In the past 2 years, I received 4 emails from ISN offering to pay us for a review.

So we're more than happy to get on a call to discuss any issues that have caused dismay in the past or are still present. Our management team sends the option out to review the system a few months throughout the year, as well as our tech team for monthly inspector reviews. To our knowledge, there hasn't been a time we've offered to pay for system reviews, so we are unsure of the emails you've received. Lastly, communication was sent out about our pricing change detailing the reasons why. ISN Will Change Your Life For The Better!
Comments:
Time saving! Headache reduction! Comprehensive record keeping! More hands off involvement with scheduling WHEN clients/agents take advantage of it.
Makes for a much more efficient, effective and professional operation on a daily basis.
Running a home inspection business without a product this powerful and effective is probably a dumb idea!
Pros:
ISN has relieved the daily process of managing inspections to a powerful, concise, reliable process that gives back valuable time previously wasted moving paperwork around and chasing problems down. The customer service is fantastic, fast, reliable, and almost always immediately effective. If the answer is not provided quickly, someone will find it and get back right away. NEVER had an issue that could not be resolved, or wasn't already experienced by others and worked out.
Cons:
It could be considered pricey until the value of time is compared, then it really is very valuable. Some of the integration is technical and gets convoluted, but once set up - seamless.

Took my business to the next level
Comments: ISN is the face of my company. Before my clients meet me or even talk to me on the phone they have received a confirmation email from me that was generated from ISN once the order was placed. All scheduled emails and sms messages are professionally sent making my business look professional
Pros:
This software is my "Business Management Software" . The ability to schedule, track and communicate to my clients is streamlined. Being able to have my agreement signed online was the biggest advantage I gained when I began using this software over 13 years ago. I used to email a pdf agreement that my clients would have to print, sign, scan and email back to me prior to the inspection. Nobody has time for that.
Cons:
The software used to pre-fill in the property sq footage and build date once you entered the address. I miss this option but I believe it was tied into Zillow and may no longer be supported.

Easy peezy
Comments: I've had excellent experience with ISN, and its staff is great.
Pros:
The ISN software is your personal secretary. It automatically sends reports, asks for payment and signatures, and it is easily customizable. Moreover, the customer support/service is literally phenomenal. If every industry followed ISN's customer support/service, there would be a lot more happier people.
Cons:
I thought long and hard about answering the question "what did you like least about this software", and I could not come up with anything. It's really perfection. It really is.

Comments: [SENSITIVE CONTENT] is AMAZING! I am new to the office and there is so much support and auto emails or text messages that can help make business run smoother. Each time I ask a question or have an idea to change the view of my calendar, emails, invoicing, etc, [SENSITIVE CONTENT]has been extremely effective, efficient and the most helpful to my lack of tech savy abilities! Having access to him allows our company to use the services provided to max capacity. I am still learning on new ways to make things run quicker with this program, so I truly appreciate him and all his time assisting me in cleaning up and perfecting the tools in this back office.
Pros:
customer care- all agents I have had in the que have been helpful, wonderful, supportive, respectful and nice!
Cons:
a quote template option vs only "invoice" to be sent out. Our customers that ask for a quote have to be published as an open invoice to do so

Worth the investment
Comments: Very happy. I am still learning it, but I appreciate the effort that went into building a useful product.
Pros:
I like that this software allows me to manage myself and 3 other inspectors time efficiently. The features were a bit tough when I first started out. This was expected since it was new to me and little did I know how much the software could accomplish. Luckily, the support team at ISN helped me get on the right track. I also appreciate how they have been there for me when I have had additional questions or concerns.
Cons:
Since we schedule multiple vendors and and inspectors, I would like a way to easily identify when ancillary services are scheduled and home access is granted. Basically a check box that we can click once (in my case), termite is set up and we have a CBS code. By checking the boxes, the calendar view could maybe place a border or check mark on the upcoming inspection.

Easy to Use Scheduling Software
Comments: All in all I find this software very useful. I can run searches, send out mailings and organize lists for a number of uses. Retrieval of old orders is excellent. I have been using ISN for 7 years and feel it is an excellent scheduling software for our business.
Pros:
I like that when I schedule an appt. it drops a tile on the calendar so I can visually track in calendar view where everyone is at a given day and time.
Cons:
The notes area is not forgiving at all. No way to clean up errors or plans that have changed since original order was placed. Some of our notes go on for "days" it seems because all old notes that no longer apply cannot be removed. It makes it hard or impractical sometime for the inspectors to ready through the notes until they hit what really applies now....way at the bottom. Please allow us to delete notes!

I could not live without ISN. To small to bring these functions inhouse.
Comments: All in all I am extremely thankful for the service. It has made doing things like follow up emails to clients, sending agreements and providing lots of brochures to clients I likely would not do otherwise.
Pros:
Works seamlessly to stay in contact with clients, follow up email features are fantastic! Emails reports and agreements with no effort on my part.
Cons:
It is a pretty complex system and has taken me quite sometime to become familiar enough that I can fix most issues myself.

ISN from hero to zero
Comments: Roses for 6 years, then it all went down the tubes when they snuck in a drastic price increase and priced themselves right out of any future consideration for my company. We will be switching over as soon as we can get everything set up.
Pros:
Customer service has been great up until my last interaction, ease of scheduling and notifications were very nice.
Cons:
Price is now ridiculous compared to other services. The 150% increase to add weekend customer service and a mobile app is absolutely no value to my company, nor to other inspectors according to what I am reading on the inspector chat boards. It was a good decision for the competition though, as I see inspectors are flooding over to the other alternatives.

One Stop Shop
Comments: Only one is above BUT pretty big deal!
Pros:
We utilize ISN between ACC to clients. Reports are stored and retrieved as needed. Automatic email sending to get agreement signature and reminders of time to all. Texts sent and received (Would like to not have to go online to reply though). Almost set and forget.
Cons:
My reports are viewed on SOME reports before payment. Been happening off/on for years. A trusted Realtor told me he read the report with job still not paid. Crew worked on for a day or so and closed the order..too bad for me I guess.

Great scheduling software
Comments: Excellent software that helped professionalize my business. A little rough setting everything up and they didn't respond well to criticism of things that weren't working well.
Pros:
Controls scheduling for home inspectors, allows call center to easily price inspections, schedule appointments while considering availability. Includes maps, time released automatic emails, suggests various types of emails to send. Allows for getting pre-inspection agreements signed. Able to accept credit card payments online.
Cons:
Doesn't allow for setting up inspection durations with ancillary services. The software allows for setting up parameters for the basic home inspection duration, but when adding on various additional services it doesn't allow for a way to set up additional time required to perform those services. Map service changed from Google Maps to another service and the new service doesn't allow for moving the map to be able to see the major nearby roads.

Comments: I've been using ISN for 8 years and it's the standard for the industry
Pros:
Integrations with other systems and software are nice as well as the continued added features. The help system is well organized and the support staff is responsive and helpful.
Cons:
Some limited options with customizability or advanced features are not able to be done.

ISN and its review
Comments: Ive had isn since january 2016 and its been good to keep things tracked and pull up old jobs if needed on the fly. They need a mobil app.
Pros:
I like that the interface is user friendly.
Cons:
I dont like that it doesnt get as many updates as it deserves.

Comments: Overall great, excellent tool and helps me coordinate and organize my schedule, and get quotes in a timely manner. Help is available when I need it.

Support network and general ease of use.
Cons:
It takes too many clicks to set the events I want for specific orders; pay at close has been annoying; Porch is a bad partnership...I wish they had no trace of relationship with ISN.

ISN Review
Comments: It helps maintain customer contacts and information. It solves scheduling appointments and has the ability to grow with my business.
Pros:
It has a lot of features and is customizable for my business the way I want to have it set up. Also the help support is great. Any time I have had a question, it has been addressed quickly and the help technicians have walked me through the solution to make sure I understood and the feature/issue was working or fixed.
Cons:
With all the customization, it is a little difficult to set up from the beginning and know exactly how everything ties together. Just a tradeoff for customization.
