Great graphic and intuitive tool

Comments: My experience with XTENSIO has been pleasant through the selection of beautiful designs that enhance my products and presentations. I've gained a couple of new clients because my content really looks professional, engaging & simple with effortless!

Pros:

The options I have for professional presentations are varied and good enough Great customer satisfaction, I have received an answer to all my questions in less than 24 hours. Very intuitive in handling the formats when adding or removing new text or graphic modules

Cons:

Sometimes I am frustrated that I cannot get the same characteristics between modules. The basic plan does not have the option of using more colors. When we want to paste content from PDF or power point like charts or graphs, it seems a little complicated to make it match the final destination.

Promising platform, some bugs to work out

Comments: Overall, I’m glad I gave Xtensio a try. I mostly found it for their templates, and then decided to try making a client report in it. I wish I had know ahead of sinking a good amount of work into the document that clients couldn’t comment. It’s not as easy to use as a Canva but much more beautiful than a Slides or PowerPoint. And less finicky than InDesign.

Pros:

Helpful templates and very easy to brand your materials with your own colors or your clients. I’ve gotten a lot of positive reviews and comments from clients on how the report I created for them looks

Cons:

The interface can get pretty clunky, especially if you are making a longer document. It is annoying to move sections around the document. I also wish there was a review feature where clients could leave comments. It would also be helpful to download as slides or PowerPoint in addition to PNG and PDF.

If you want hours of FRUSTRATION then this is the software for you

Comments: Poor, Frustrating, Argumentative Staff, Lack of Strong Management as clearly they are only interested in grandfathering the service you sign up to so you will sign up to more expensive services, rather than caring about customer experience and quality of product.
My advice - take your money elsewhere.

Pros:

I will say up front that the templates are good - BUT....be prepared for hours of frustration

Cons:

Im on the paid service. However, if I want to use a colour I need to look up the hex code and then past it in. There is no font duplication button similar to that you would find on any Microsoft product, Mac Pages etc. The software is VERY jumpy when you need to move boxes around. Ive been on this software for a while - and in that time have seen ZERO IMPROVEMENTS. They are very good at trying to get you to upgrade though in order to get base level specs which you should be entitled to anyway - especially as I have a paid annual subscription. The staff tried to mislead me into a more expensive plan - then sent 10 emails arguing with me that she didn't mislead me (summary of correspondence below so make your own mind up) **I just went to cut and paste the correspondence into here and can see that she had deleted it to remove a track record of it**

Case Study Deadline!

Comments: Upon visiting the Xtensio website for the first time, I was immediately struck by its clean and modern design. The layout is visually appealing and the intuitive navigation made it easy to explore the various features and offerings. I was literally up till 3 a.m just browsing through the website.

Pros:

I love that Xtensio has a wide range of customizable templates for various business and design needs, such as business plans, user journey maps, marketing reports, and personas. I love how easy it is to just fill in the blanks with these templates.

Cons:

The pricing is competitive. It has a comprehensive resource section with tutorials, case studies, and FAQs.

Marketing personas

Comments: Generally good, I used it for my digital marketing assignment.

Pros:

Personas table was great, features and aspects of personas are so on point.

Cons:

Free trial is so limited, also when i try to save some texts, it disappearing sometimes.

Product Manager Review

Comments: As a Product Manager, I am to be the voice of the end user/consumer. I cannot do that without bringing the end user to life leveraging user personas. I believe user personas are a key component to human-centered product management/development/design. Without these, we'd be missing the mark every time.

Pros:

I first found Xtensio during my MBA program when asked to create marketing personas. I loved it because I could use it for free with a trial. The user persona template was a perfect guide. I then went back to it in my product manager role when I needed to create end user personas. The free trial gets me in the door every time. But I wouldn't keep coming back to it if it didn't give me the templates I need and if they weren't easy to use. I can customize them with company branded colors too, which is a plus.

Cons:

Honestly, I can't say there is anything I liked least about it other than my free trial expired.

Great tool for creating professional-looking documents

Pros:

The platform allows me to create beautiful and professional-looking documents, such as business plans, proposals, and presentations, without needing any design skills. One of the things I love about Xtensio is the wide variety of templates available. Whether I need to create a marketing plan or a project proposal, there's a template that fits my needs. The drag-and-drop interface makes it easy to customize the templates and add my own content.

Cons:

While using Xtensio, I did encounter an issue with exporting Chinese characters. However, I reported this bug to their customer support team and was pleasantly surprised by how quickly they were able to fix it for me in just a week!

Useful for creating customer profiles

Comments: Gives a good basis if you need a starting point for your customer profiles. Easy to use. More questionable whether It’s worth an investment or not.

Pros:

I’ve only really used the custom templates for customer profiles. I’ve found them simple to use and edit. Useful for customer profiles when doing marketing or service design.

Cons:

I think it seems quite expensive given that with little effort, most of its features can probably be replicated in a more manual way.

Xtensio Review

Comments: Good for certain things.

Comments: I really like using Xtensio. I use it for a lot of things. It is very easy to use. I really like the templates that you can use and adapt to your preferences. I would really recommend using Xtensio!

Pros:

I really like that it is so easy to use and that you have tons of templates to choose from that you can adjust to your preferences.

Cons:

It is a little bit unclear when my free trial ended and I wanted to subscribe for the basic subscription.

Very nice templates

Pros:

Very elaborate and well designed templates make my life easier for creating presentations and personas.

The options for Fonts can be a bit limiting. Also the free trial is too short.

Not a lot of graphical backgrounds. Why not export to Word / pages / powerpoint instead of pdf. anyway it is simpler to edit the text there and make small changes. And there are plenty of PDF to DOC converters... so give this options as an addon for extra money. people will like it. The UI is jumping a lot and not very responsive sometimes. especially when dragging contents. Not a lot of diagramming capabilities. example - radar charts for product comparison etc.

Simple, Clean, and Beautiful software.

Comments: Overall it was a great experience. I’ve tried other platforms ans Xtensio os the easiest to use. Very low learning curve; anyone can use it.

Pros:

The UI is very clean and easy to navigate. Searching for templates is super easy and their templates are beautiful and minimal formatting is needed as is.

Cons:

Maybe just expand the media library, to help users reduce the time searching for media online and uploading it to the content library.

Electronic Media Kit

Comments: We are a start-up craft brewery. I wear a lot of hats. I needed something that I can control, edit easily, distribute, and make it look like our product. Xtensio made that pretty darn easy.

Pros:

Xtensio gave me what I was looking for - a customizable Media Kit template that I can share with our media contacts. I can now share press releases, images, video, etc. in our media outreach. That we were able to do this as quickly as we did surprised the rest of the team.

Cons:

A minor issue but the application could be a bit more intuitive. Customer Service was on hand to answer my questions.

One stop shop for all your PM needs

Comments: Overall, this is a great product as a Product Manager - I can create Product Canvases, User Personas, Comparative Personas.

Pros:

Xtensio has some great templates and is easy to get started. Navigation is simple once you've used it a few times.

Cons:

I don't like the notifications/chat pop up - there is always a message for me and it's usually not something I need but I feel obligated to click it because it's displayed right in front of me.

Best marketing tool for understanding your customers

Comments: I love Xtensio. It's an incredibly useful tool for nailing down your customer demographics. The persona development tool has helped our team by acting as the thought experiment through which we make all marketing strategy decisions.

Pros:

I love the persona development tool, which allows you to use a template to build out your customer demographics in a clear and useful way. I love that you can edit it in tandem with others, like a Google Doc, making it an excellent activity to do as a marketing team.

Cons:

Many of the features are paid, like inviting others to collaborate in the document, or downloading your completed personas to a pdf.

Comments: I'm learning more about my target market by using Xtensio. It's definitely made a positive impact on my business and has allowed my team to get a better understanding of our market.

Pros:

I like how easy it is to use for example the user persona template was easy to find and helped my business visualize our ideal early adopter.

Cons:

I didn't like how text photos etc wouldn't go into place easily. There was very little auto movement that the likes of capcut or other editing apps have.
