Comments: Phocas is extremely easy to use for a non Technical users. It holds huge amounts of data and is pretty fast at being able to get the information required out of the system fast.

Pros:

It is easy to use for all sales people. Lots of information at your fingertips.

Cons:

Having all this data you need to understand d how to use it. This is not always easy.

Phocas Software will definitely change the traditional way of reporting.

Comments: I love Phocas reporting and this has helped our branches and our operations in a big way, and we can see our company performance as a whole at once. No need to check different reports to analyse data - Use Phocas -all under one umbrella.

Pros:

Phocas software is highly User firendly than compared to Microsoft Power BI. We were using PBI and attracted to buy Phocas immediately after first demo. The software is fantastic but not necessary for small organisations.

Cons:

Phoca software is good in all aspecrts but the pricing needs to be revised to accommodate small organisations with minimum modules.

I feel like it can be a useful tool, if you are in the know!

Comments: I would suggest a simple user guide to come up the first time you log in, so you are aware of the real potential of this software.

Pros:

Once you have been shown how to use this software, it can be a very useful tool, especially for us as CEs who aren't directly involved with the Sales side of the business.

Cons:

Unless someone is a pro on Phocas, it is difficult to navigate your way around it and completely understand how to use it.

A great product with an excellent, dynamic and knowledgeable support team.

Comments: It's really quick to get the information we need. When we implemented it we presumed the sales team would spend hours on it. They don't. They get the information they need within seconds and can quickly move on to do their actual jobs. It's an extremely powerful tool.Some functions in the business don't use it very much but that's because we didn't collect data before because we couldn't analyse it. Now that we can analyse it we need to collect a bank of data so we can see what we want to do with it. Chicken and egg.

Pros:

The screens are easy to navigate and there aren't lots of clicks to get the information you need.I particularly like how easy it is to create Dashboards and delve deeper into dashboard data.The supporting team are excellent too. After a bumpy handover to BAU Phocas have completely turned it around. Their team are engaging, helpful and knowledgeable. I also know that, if I can explain the data composite I'm looking for, the team will find a way of getting it.

Cons:

It isn't so easy for less skilled team members to use- those who don't understand databases, don't have very good computer skills or only use it occasionally.I'd like it to be easier to import simple data such as a spreadsheet.

Phocas is a masterful piece of software

Comments: It's seriously good. Sometimes the customer service is slightly slow and I don't always hear back straight away but in the main it's good!

Pros:

Phocas is one of the best CRM / data analyst tools in the market for people selling multiple product lines to multiple customers. The ability to track and measure the success of individual products and product groups to a selection of customers or sectors is absolutely brilliant!

Cons:

The software is slightly clunky still and would benefit from more work on the ease of use side, ie. a better search function

Comments: I have used Phocas for 5-6 years and use most days. The deep diving of data speeds my reporting time two-fold. Accurate and reportable data.

Pros:

I enjoy the ability to phocas into different datasets whilst viewing another, for example the product, credit note type BY each customer.

Cons:

Available training for new users. I have several years and was shown with a 'hands on approach'.

Fantastic bit of kit

Pros:

I love from an IT admin point of you how it allows users to build their own reports. Previously we had to write sql queries to get users the custom reports they required. Now users are confident to go in and have a go themselves. The software training academy and weekly live training sessions has allowed users to pick up the software easily.User friendly, very powerful tool. Always new features being added.

Cons:

I believe their appears to be a bit of a backlog with the dev team currently so a few bugs aren't being resolved as quickly as they used to be.

Comprehensive Reporting & Business Building Tool

Comments: My overall experience with Phocas has been excellent, we use the system to monitor growing and declining sales to protect out business and easily identify buying gaps to help increase sales.

Pros:

Ease of use, speed of reporting and level of detail available that can be accessed. Automated reporting saves a lot of time. Support from the account managers when required is excellent.

Cons:

Sometimes some of the functionality could be improved further to allow more flexibility. An example here would be multiple options for subscriptions i.e. a weekly report that you could also set to receive at monthend without the need to create a new favourite. Nest function is a fantastic addition to the functionality but due to the way Phocas works you have to start at the bottom layer of data then build layers above.

Great , Impactful Software

Comments: overall I am very satisfied with this program and I highly recommend it to my clientele.

Pros:

Ever Since the team has implemented Phocas, I have been able to track my sales progress and been able to keep up with my goals and successes. this program also allows me to have my track record available and see where I need improvement and have a clear written history in terms of graphs and charts as to what has been done in the past, and present.

Cons:

the only problem I have with this problem is that sometimes , the program freezes, lags and does not upload the data from the day prior.

Phocas going forward

Comments: It is giving us an insight we have never had before into our performance and the measure ability especially in terms of profit and there link to rebates.

Pros:

I am most excited about the ability to draw in different strands of information from the various software platforms we operate as part of the business. We generate so much data that frankly its too intimidating to consider analysis of it all without the services of Phocas

Cons:

I would like to see more integration in the CRM side of the software. For instance our ERP is ultimately our primary CRM system aswell, so we manage the contacts there, but they do not automatically sync through to the contacts tab of the CRM section. Some further automation from existing systems would be nice.

Phocas - Exceptional software with amazing support.

Comments: Phocas have been an amazing help with streamlining our business processes. Not only is it easy to gain insights into our market, the team at Phocas have made it as quick and easy as possible by setting up automatic synchronisations from our accounting software directly to Phocas so we always have the latest data on hand without any effort at all. A favourite tool for the staff here and can't recommend it enough.

Pros:

Ease of use and navigation, ability to customise and a perfect support team!

Cons:

The functionality is awesome, only think I can think of is to give more options with custom formatting dashboards.

Brilliant way to save precious time

Comments: We / I monitor and control stock and sales figures for a large multi-site company that is easily done by branch or area and quickly manipulate the figures to show the various results I require in an instant, I would be lost without it.

Pros:

I like the instant, fluid information that lets me quickly get the information I want when I want it how I want it, sales me hours a week, what's not to like!

Cons:

I wish to learn more about it to maximise on its benefits but find it a little expensive to do the course, other than that its brilliant.

Phocas Easy To Use

Comments: Phocas allows the business to have data available on the go. BSS administrates and creates the data tables which allows the business to easily customise new company requirements.

Pros:

One Click Functionality. User friendly. The ability to access data wherever you are in the world.

Cons:

As BSS hold a vast amount of information sometimes we have issues viewing the data. This might be an internal or external network issue.

Making Large Data Easy

Comments: With the ease of use and power of Phocas's customization we are able to solve data visualization not just in the main data sets but in side project data as well.

Pros:

Phocas is an easy to use software that allows us to customize and take a lot of different data and consolidate it in one easy to use solution.

Cons:

Not a real time application as of yet so the data is mostly reactive at this point.

Comments: Sales and profit information by customer and product line is instantaneously available. I do not know how we functioned without it. Grat tool to analyze sales and profitability

We cannot link our customer price matrix database to our sales information

Showing Sales figures as opposing to same time last year, we are basing our bones system based on this.

It should have been accessible to all employee to keep checking the sales stats instead of just one user without a password and username.

Comments: Good, I can see what everyone is buying, how I’m targeting specific products we manufacture. Follow up leads. Easily compare turnovers. See who has stopped buying a particular part no, and see who is buying something new.

Pros:

All information I need for sales, prospects easily available. Updates every day

Cons:

Nothing really. All works pretty easily for the info I need

Love Phocas!

Pros:

I have been a Phocas user for a couple of years. Being a SHIMS user, we are always looking for software to enhance it and make the end users lives easier. Phocas has been a great fit for us.

Cons:

We started using the CRM database about 6 months ago. After a somewhat rocky start, the salesforce is finally embracing the technology.

Fast USer Adoption

Pros:

The software is easy to use and implement. User adoption was very fast. I like that you can quickly and easily build your own database in Designer without an IT resource.

Cons:

If the data could be real time instead of on sync

Simplified Tool for business data

Pros:

I'm able to see various snapshots of all the data that drives my business decisions in one place - and even better - I am able to slice and dice the data in different ways so as to get in depth analysis when needed

Cons:

Not in real time (at least for my organization) - the data downloads every night so we have to wait until next day to see numbers up until the previous day
