One Report

Comments: We used Excel and it was inefficient and difficult to add photos. Safety Reports simplified the reporting by allowing us to use one report for everyone. The ability to take it to the field and add photos is a big plus.

Pros:

Being able to customize reports for different contractors is invaluable. Also, choosing the categories for each phase of the job simplifies it use.

Cons:

It can be cumbersome to create your own categories. However, support is happy to take our information an create them for us.

Safety Reports

Pros:

Ease of use and ability to use in the field across multiple clients.

Cons:

I don't have anything that we dislike about Safety Reports.

Great Tool

Pros:

Very easy to use, people can fill out reports immediately instead of going and looking for a form, I get an email whenever a report is filled out so I can follow up.

Cons:

My cons are with my users not filling things out completely not with the app

How to automate your safety program

Comments: Overall for the price, it is a good system. Could it be better? Yes.

Pros:

Inspections are easy to use. Training: easy to document an maintain.

Cons:

The inability to drill down on data sets. The inability to create custom reports. The limited ability to leave corrective action items open ad infinitum. The links break after 1 year or so.

Safety Reports

Comments: My overall experience has been great.

Pros:

I use Safety reports to track training, conduct safety inspections and incident reports. It has worked well for us for minimal start up and monthly fees compared to other options. Some features are a bit tricky to use initially, but Safety Reports support staff has been very good and timely in responding to and resolving any support needs. I would recommend to anyone.

Cons:

Some work flows aren't as simple as I would like, such as the OSHA 300 reporting feature, but it works well once you figure it out. I was able to get support help and found instructions on their site.

I would like to see more reports by industry, i.e., restaurants, hotels, manufacturing, healthcare, golf resorts, banks, law firms, transportation, real estate/leasing, utilities, retail and wholesale trade.

Great software

Comments: It has been a great experience with Safety Reports. I have been a customer for over two years and have been very happy with the product.

Pros:

The citing of the OSHA Standard with the negative findings and positive findings. The ease of use at the work site the ability to attach the photographs to the report. The overall report is very professional looking.

Cons:

The picture marking tool could be more customizable.

Keeps us in good standing with Workers Comp!

Pros:

Ease of use. It lays out all of the tools necessary to have a well rounded safety program

Cons:

The pictures take too long in the inspection app

Best Safety App I Have Used

Comments: Overall this is a great app and would recommend it.

Pros:

I love that you can go right to the regulations. I also love that I can add things to the checklist as needed.

Cons:

I wish I could download my own video trainings to the app and have my customers complete training.

Great system for all levels

Comments: Very positive

Pros:

Safety Reports is easy to use and more importantly, it generates an easy to understand and vey professional looking report that can be shared with people from all career backgrounds.

Cons:

I wish that there were a few more features that gave more information on the types of findings in an inspection. For example, something that denotes a repeat finding from a previous inspection or the ability to assign a corrective action to someone in the action tracking system.

Pros:

Provides valuable information, lists the relevant OSHA standard, rates the severity & root causes with just a few clicks

Cons:

None to speak of for me, I could not be effective in my job without it!

Daily reports

Pros:

Customer like . Great tracking system for opened issue. easy updating closing out issues

Cons:

Seem to have bugs. My team keeps having issues. Black page on preview. locks up. Photoo drawing keeps not working.

A great tool!

Pros:

The App is very easy to use. I like the ability to add photos and narratives right on site. I can complete the inspection and send the report before I leave the job site. Very efficient and user friendly.

Cons:

We don't really have anything negative to say about the product

Usability

Comments: It has created a better experience for our folks around the auditing process as they are more engaged in the process. It also forces them to show their follow up in the corrective actions area.

Pros:

The usability in the field. The app is easy to work through and gives an almost instant report to those that need it which is greatly appreciated.

Cons:

The ability for the application to upload information or to move between categories while there is little to no internet service on the phone. It forces me to go elsewhere and update the information and then come back to my previous area. Corrective actions reports don't readily resend to open items - an administrator must resend them.

Use of Safety Reports.

Comments: Safety Reports keep us aware of our commitment to Safety and how important it is to never lose sight of all of our employees safety.

Pros:

Product is very easy to use and detailed with regards to OSHA compliance.

Cons:

Some new changes were not communicated to the users and Admin's.

Comments: I don't have the opportunity to use it very much.

Pros:

The portability of putting it on my cell phone and my work ipad.

Cons:

It would be much better if I could give Safety Reports our department structure and then you load it into the templates.

High quality App

Comments: It is easy to use and makes auditing look so professional. Easy to add pictures and labels to them. I actually look forward to sending audits to the safety professionals we subcontract for.

Great safety management system!

Pros:

Safety inspection app is a wonderful application that allows you to manage safety inspections with an affordable app. The application is supported on mobile devices which makes it convenient to use when out and about. Tracking of observations can be reported and analyzed. Safety Inspection App is really good!

Cons:

One small issue with the Safety Inspection App is that it had some minor bugs and glitches when using the app. Everything was solved when I restarted the app though.

Wonderful tool for safety dept.

Comments: This product saves time and gives a score value. It also features grafts and top ten positives and negatives for individual company's. I find owners enjoy graphs on improvement & disappointments so they know where to work harder on there safety programs.
It is hard to use as a fair scoring for incentive's because individuals cant be graphed groups can but that gets messy at times

Safety Reports

Comments: Using for over one year. Has great checklists to review at sites. Not always easy to get internet connection where we travel, so use as secondary after walk construction sites. Have worked with Safety Reports Staff and had great service for changes and recommendations on the set up of the software.

Outstanding

Comments: Very easy to use and follow. The reports are very descriptive and explain the violation by linking the OSHA standard.

Pros:

Ability to link photos to the violations. I also like the fact that each violation is directly linked to the OSHA standard it relates too.

Cons:

Haven't found anything I don't like at this point.

nice and quick

Pros:

I enjoy how simple and easy to use this app is which makes doing a onsite safety inspection quick and easy.

Cons:

It was a very simple setup and I didn't feel like it was worth the money especially since we have a l in one software that we use that already does this.

Comments: I have been using the app for almost a year. Having the ability to customize it for our demolition activities has been tremendous. The different categories (MSHA, Cal-OSHA, General Industry, etc) makes it very versatile.
