Helps to bring order to the chaos

Comments: Helps to solve issues we had beforehand. Helps to save working time (if everybody contributes which remains a challenge). Makes working with PowerPoint more efficient.

Pros:

The authoring tool make PowerPoint much more comprehensive. The central library with it's functions is really the key benefit and enables us to maintain a single source our truth regarding our different slide decks.

Cons:

An administrative central user management console would be helpful. Performance has already significantly improved but there is still ground to gain. Some more features in the library with regards to history and a changelog would be nice.

empower for brand and library management

Pros:

There are several features that are critical for use in my company. The ease of searching for slides or documents where you need them most is first and foremost. The layout of bringing productivity tools and an easier agenda tool to the front make it a must have for slide creation.

Cons:

We would love additional reporting so we can better our own library of material and see what our users are using most. This would help us train better if the content is there and they aren't finding it or focusing on content that is used most.

Getting there

Comments: An essential tool for organisations that have many slides to manage, but it's still very buggy!

Pros:

Slide library management, easy updates with side by side comparison wizard.

Cons:

buggy, even after the latest update, I need to restart computer once per day and slow to upload and see new content in library.

Game Changer Tool for more efficiency and consistency in Microsoft Office

Comments: empower helps us to create better presentations and documents in less time. So, it is essentially a no brainer because the payback of this software happens instantly.

Pros:

empower helps me save a lot of time creating presentations and Office documents. With the design check capabilities, I can quickly check my presentations and documents and fix them in seconds. So I create better Office documents in less time.

Cons:

Initially, there was no automatic translation feature included, but this has been added recently with DeepL translations which is super useful. So nothing that is not good or missing as of today.

Empower powers thro presentation.

Comments: Good to have the reduced timeline to meet the management expection for delivering the presentation on projects, reporting, tracking.

Pros:

Editing of font & its color and matching with presentation template should be auto detected and applied to working pptx files.

Pros:

It supports a wide variety of chart types, including bar charts, line charts, pie charts, area charts. Charts will automatically update when data are changed, I like most about Empower is its ease of use.

Cons:

The Charts are not customizable enough. Sometimes the Chart got corrupted in the middle of the work and it requires to be done from scratch

Corporate Finance user feedback

Comments: Overall, we have been very happy. We have had a recent issue with SharePoint ad empower but the technical team is looking into this matter.

Pros:

The graphing functionality is a game changer and allows us to deliver complex information in a simple and effective manner. Being able to save template presentations in a central library is also very useful.

Cons:

We previously had issues with using empower tables in presentations because once we updated the data, the table format would change. We have also struggled to link tavles which have merged cells.

A good PowerPoint maker solution

Comments: My overall experience with empower is quite good. I have created many great presentations with the help of empower for our internal company meetings. The overall engagement of my PowerPoint engagement has improved after using the empower. I can recommend this product to businesses and individuals.

Pros:

Empower by made-in-office is a PowerPoint content management add-in which integrates with the PowerPoint and helps to create seamless PowerPoint experience for the viewers. It contains thousands of beautiful slides which can be used inside your existing or a new PowerPoint project. It is straightforward to customize empower as per your brand requirements. Empower provides master templates or simply already crafted PowerPoint templates on the startup and can be used quickly with minor changes as per the requirements. Empower provides the ability and flexibility to pick various color pickers and font pickers to create extremely appealing PowerPoint slides.

Cons:

Regarding the price point-of-view, they are distributing fewer licenses which can be not enough for the businesses. I have felt some minor lags while inserting videos and images in the slides.

A game Changer for Brand and Powerpoint usage in efficiency and quality.

Comments: If you really want to have a strong brand and good presentations and storytellers for your company you should not hesitate and give it a try.

Pros:

Easy to use for all employees after a minimum of training improves quality and efficiency immediately. Smooth integration in MS Office suite.

Cons:

to use empower cloud as well as the storage of all powerpoints didn't work out for us. Sharing on a teams and sharepoint, chatting and collaborating found an easier way to our employees.

empower slide at the LMB Training Academy

Comments: Thanks empower, our instructors download and give training course (powerpoint presentations) always up-to-date. Thanks empower the training course source (library) is only one. All the instructors download the training courses from one source only. Thanks empower, as soon as one "mother" slide as been updated, all training courses using this slide, are suddenly updated. Thanks empower the language management of our training courses is much better.

Pros:

Desired feature: the Undo feature in the library management as well in the content management.

Cons:

A bug I discovered sometimes. The slides updating procedure was sometimes wrong. The system inserted sometimes the slide from an other/wrong source. For example in a presentation in English, by the slide update procedure, it inserted slides from the French presentation.

A powerful tool for PowerPoint power users -- and everyone else

Comments: I love it, I use it every day to manage our brand and keep our decks looking great. The admins on our team are using it with great facility now, so we always look professional and we are saving a lot of time putting materials together. The main content creators are still not fully comfortable, but it's only been a few months, so I'm hoping with more exposure they will gain confidence.

Pros:

The Layout Tool is my favorite thing ever; it saves so much time in making slides look professional and organized with just a few clicks. And the library of predesigned slides and decks has been an absolute lifesaver. Onboarding with the Empower team's large suite of video tutorials and 1:1 trainings has been a great process.

Cons:

This is a steep learning curve for my busy team, who don't always remember to return to the library to get the latest version of a slide. A more organized onboarding and training process for teams would be really helpful. Also, saving images to the library is a bit laborious.

Empower - faster slide creation and central corporate library

Comments: Reducing search time for users, making sure they use the latest versions. Reducing content creation time due to effective tools and features. Translation of a whole deck while all formats and graphics are kept unchanged is a major benefit as well.

Pros:

Corporate library allows to provide standard content (e.g. corporate slides or slide templates for re-use, photo and icon library) and templates (e.g. XLS forms) directly where the user needs it. On top of this, many additional PowerPoint features make slide creation easier (Agenda wizard, layout tools, DeepL translation)

Cons:

There is a macOS version, but it has less features than the WIndows version. But is is providing the same library.

A very usefull software

Comments: Very easy to use, I love the icons, images that are placed and can be replaced automatically. I also like the translation option and the numerous of templates, infographics and inspiration material

Pros:

We use Empower daily. We have designed thousand of slides for our clients. It is easy to use and learn. It helps us minimize our time by 60-70%. We also like the automated consistency check tools.

Cons:

Maybe some more functionalities would be great.

Application in Higher Education-context

Comments: As a user, I have been using Empower for about 10 years in various industries. The continuous development has always inspired me. I am absolutely convinced of the tool and can only recommend it.

Pros:

Cons:

There are actually no points that I don't like. The following things could be added as features - more precise description options of images in the content database - More otpions in database synchronization for the clients

Never again without empower

Pros:

Empower helps to work faster and more effectively across the company. I love the "Layout Tools".

Cons:

Unfortunately, the important function of linking to presentations and folders in the library no longer exists. I would like to see special features that simplify, make more flexible and extend the creation and editing of animations in PowerPoint.

Comments: It is a valuable tool that has helped increase our productivity in our lab. The user interface is easy to use, making it a great asset to our operations. The centralized database allows us to access and track our data more easily, and the customizable reports are great for keeping us on track.Empower offers great help and support, which has saved us a lot of time and money when it comes to training.The software has security features that are comparable to those used in industry-leading laboratories. These features help keep your data safe.

Pros:

It is a great tool for managing chromatography data. It's easy to use and provides lots of helpful features, like customizable reports and regulatory compliance features. I especially appreciate the intuitive interface and the fact that it's fast and easy to collect and process data. Plus, the customer support is great, so if I ever have any questions, I know I can get help right away. Overall, Empower is an excellent solution for managing chromatography data.

Cons:

It has a lot of features and it is easy to use. However, there are some downsides to it. The user interface can be confusing, and there have been times when the software has slowed down or crashed. Additionally, the support organization is good, but you need to contact them more often than you'd like.

Empower Express is indispensable for companies aiming to create rapid and well-organized PowerPoint Presentations.

Pros:

The use of empower express allows for smooth and organized creation and updating of PowerPoint presentations. It enhances productivity and efficiency significantly. Personally, I save numerous hours each month by utilizing it for training purposes. Moreover, its affordability and incredible support contribute to an overall remarkable experience. My Master Template was also recreated to operate much more smoothly and efficiently than before.

Cons:

Uploading assets such as pictures and logos can be quite time-consuming. However, [sensitive content hidden] from the Empower Express Team graciously took care of this task for me.

Slide Management

Comments: I just use empower in PowerPoint and it is well integrated in this standard app. And although we use Office 365 we had rarely any problems with any updates. Generally it saves us time in managing our slides and reduces the rate that we oversee changes.

Pros:

empower has a lot of features. Most important for me is the slide management. We have a load of different slide decks for trainings with redundant slides. We are now able to store them in a database and when we update a slide, you can easily update the same slide in other slide decks, where the slide is included.

Cons:

I would like to be able to update the whole slide but the title should be exempted (as the title would be better different, based on the flow of the slide deck). It would also be helpful to be able to disconnect a slide, when it was originally imported from the database, but changes have been made, which should be kept.
