MUST HAVE if you run an Online Business

Comments: One of my favorite online tools. The real value for money at my side starts when I put 1$ in and get at least 10$ out. With OptiMonks kickass premade popup templates I’ve made so powerful campaigns (no design skills at all, I’ve grown up on Canva 😀),​ that it’s crushed my ROI. With the FREE trial, it’s a real no brainer.

Pros:

Tons of free templates, outstanding design, powerful triggering settings. I've tried a couple of alternatives, but this one is delightful 👌

Cons:

The only thing I’m missing is the built-in​ embedded forms function. That would be reaaallly astounding 😀

Fun and interactive templates for capturing emails

Comments: Optimonk has many intuitive and attractive pop-ups that have high customizability (to show after x amount of seconds, certain % of scroll etc). I know people have gotten great results with Optimonk so I am looking forward to split testing (they have that option) and finding the right match for our audience.

Pros:

Starting out with the templates, I loved the variety of choices offered. Many industries were covered and different methods of email capturing were available, from game-like spin the wheel, to personalized questions (which is what we chose).

Cons:

Although it was fun to set up, our conversions haven't increased as significantly as we had thought, compared to our previous popup software. I wonder if the ranking / sorting system is accurate and truly shows which ones have the highest conversion rate. Also, in my own testing of the results, I found that the pop-up did not come out exactly when I programmed it to. Sometimes it would take much longer than the x seconds / % scroll I chose.

Very easy to setup and great support

Comments: Nice combination of tools for lead generation and scarcity tactics that integrates with Zapier to any platform you use to nurture the leads.

Pros:

Great to setup with wordpress. Settings and rules for targeting, appearance, lead generation, etc are very easy to implement. Support team is also great and helpful. They work closely to us to improve SEO performance within the plugin.

Cons:

Pricing model based on pageviews can make the tool expensive, specially when you have campaigns. The pricing is calculated with the entire pageviews of the entire site.

Effective & Easy-to-use

Comments: When it comes to collecting email subscribers, OptiMonk is the best option you can choose. Recommended!

Pros:

Gamification popups (e.g. lucky wheel) and wide range of targeting options.

Cons:

I use a smaller CRM system and there is no direct integration (although we can connect the 2 systems by using Zapier).

Best way of collecting Facebook Messenger subscribers

Comments: With 80-90% open rates, Messenger marketing is the new email marketing. OptiMonk is one of the earliest adopters of boosting Messenger sign-ups that comes with lots of personalization features.

Pros:

Smart form display: asking Messenger opt-in instead of forcing email sign ups when the user is logged into Messenger. That’s super useful especially on mobile devices.

Cons:

I don’t really have any complaints, rather a feature request :slightly_smiling_face: More templates (e.g. side messages) with Messenger opt-in.

OptiMonk saves time for me

Comments: Highly recommended - especially for email capturing.

Pros:

The best exit-intent popup plugin I’ve ever used. It provides mobile exit intent as well! OptiMonk saves lots of abandoning visitors day by day in our garden store.

Cons:

I can’t see detailed statistics by device.

Business Partner Loves It

Comments: Overall it was great while we used it but right now it doesn't serve me.

Pros:

My business partner setup Optimonk so I don't know the specifics on it except how it works on the front end. I like how we could choose when the pop-ups happened, how often, etc. It always worked and integrated well with ActiveCampaign,

Cons:

When I wasn't working with my partner anymore, I ultimately stopped using this software simply because I could do pop-ups for free in my Kajabi website. I prefer all-in-one solutions to simple things like this because it's too much to manage integrations and to continue to pay for each service.

Comments: Great experience overall. Keep up the great job team.

Pros:

One of the best popup and CRO tools available in the market. A lot of useful features, customization options, and awesome templates. The support is fabulous. Just a couple of pointers need to be addressed which have already been shared with [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN]. Hope to see them live soon :)

Cons:

There is no option to set the probability of the spinwheel.

Filling Your Top-Of-Funnel Has Never Been Easier

Comments: The platform provides a seamless user experience and learning the interface was very intuitive. The goal was to capture more of the visitors to nurture them and convert them to customers. That mission was accomplished efficiently.

Pros:

Out of several trialed products, OptiMonk was the most user-friendly and easy to integrate. The opt-in rate doubled when compared to the previous provider. Connecting to our automation tool was seamless. Split testing of different display options was push-button simple.

Cons:

The analytics could have been more in-depth. There were some metrics that would have been beneficial to our analysis and optimization decisions.

Improvise website conversion with optimism

Comments: It has been wonderful. We have got a lot of conversion ever since we started using optimonk

Pros:

Optimonk gives a fantastic customers experience on website. There is a pop up for everything whether you want to collect emails or promote your social media or collect feedback. They have even Holiday based themes for better performance

Cons:

There are some features which are only available on the paid plan but that’s understandable

Comments: My overall experience has been really good and would recommend to anyone wanting to try this for your website. The interface is really friendly and you don't need any technical skills and wherever technical skills are required, you can get in touch with the customer support; they will sort things out for you in a flash. So far it has been a good experience!

Pros:

The dashboard is easy to understand and play around with Creation and implementation of campaigns is very user-friendly Creating custom form fields is also very easy All in all the user interface is really good The customer support team is a real champion - very responsive, helpful and lightning quick.

Cons:

There are some limitations/wishlists from OptiMonk A lot of integration is still not available and a webhook does not really provide a great experience Certain customisations are not possible straight forward and need a workaround where you end up losing some in-built features The designs/templates could have a little more variety say maybe from an industry perspective

My favourite marketing software

Comments: One of the best marketing softwares that I use continously.

Pros:

Targeting and design options, and the first-class support.

Cons:

There are smaller bugs in the editor that I don't like.

Best Exit Intent Popup Builder

Pros:

Easy to use. Best features. Excellent value.

Cons:

There is no feature missing for us there.

Best lead generation tool

Comments: Amazing ROI, tons of templates, versatile editor. Highly recommend it!

Pros:

The possibility to capture Messenger subscribers is beyond imagination! Amazing tool

Cons:

Nothing I can think of at the moment, I like it as it is.

Fantastic Functionality

Comments: Exceptional value for money, and their customer service staff are prompt, informed and so helpful.

Pros:

The range of functionality on the free version alone is simply outstanding. There are so many settings to configure that there is little chance you won't find a way to configure to your perfect desires.

Cons:

There are so many configurations possible, that you can get a little overwhlemed, and lost in the menus and submenus. Perhaps a tutorial video with an expert navigating all the menus and settings (and their effects) would be helpful.

Best Targeting Available

Comments: Simple, easy to use. It just works.

Pros:

It's reliable targeting and the ability to create popup series, each one triggering the next in the series.

Cons:

Sometimes is was slow to load, but this is just as likely to be my connection than their tool.

If you want to make money with your popup, Optimonk is the way to go

Pros:

I love the great built in designs, and drag and drop builder is cool as well. But what I like the most is that you can make money with Optimonk. There are lots of special features, that allow popups to be personalized and triggered at the best moment and place.

Cons:

The software itself is really smart, so you need some time to get around. But after that, you're good to go.

Easy tool for implementation a pop up window

Pros:

Easy to use, thanks to templates you can easily create any pop-up.

Cons:

Sometimes the pop-up did not look the same as it was shown. In some cases it did not appear.

Comments: Powerful app that comes with fair prices (including a totally free plan).

Pros:

Personalization and segmentation. Behavioral targeting enables to treat your visitors as humans (not just ‘users on a website’).

Cons:

Set up, like in all new platforms, requires a little bit of a learning curve. But thanks, Monkie, for making this journey fun! :)

Use of OptiMonk for popups in wordpress

Pros:

Easy to embbed. I use wordpress and some popups won't work, except this one.

Cons:

Bad support for fonts and right-to-left languages, hard to design.
