Pros:

As a manager of a companymanaging multiple projects and clients, the HubStaff time tracking software has proven to be an absolute game-changer for my business. Its seamless integration, user-friendly interface, and robust features have made tracking time for billing purposes a breeze, while its detailed reports have empowered me to make more informed business decisions

Cons:

As a devoted user of HubStaff, I've found the platform to be an invaluable asset in streamlining my time tracking and billing processes. However, I believe there's a significant opportunity for improvement by incorporating features that align with Israeli finance laws. Israel has unique regulatory requirements, and integrating these into HubStaff would undoubtedly elevate the platform's appeal for users in this region.

A good cheap tracking for development users on a budget

Comments: It is a program initially for engineers with a small budget or professionals with a low budget who want to take into account the time they spend on each work task, this is essential to be able to move forward.
It is limited so that executive staff can see the real performance of the employees below, it is closed in that sense and they do not like it.
I liked it in many functions and I would recommend it but I would make clear the problems of aspects that I found.

Pros:

This program gives me a feeling of real-time optimization. By having a clear vision of how my time is being used, I can identify areas in which they could be more efficient and make adjustments to optimize workflow in each task, this gives me a feeling of real-time optimization. I like it mainly because I don't have much time, on the other hand the prices were comfortable and sometimes you could accumulate invoices for payment the next month without penalties.

Cons:

Productivity monitoring is very limited, I think it did not allow data to be delivered to senior managers, the way to give them real-time access to the performance of our tasks was very problematic.

What I liked most about Hubstaff is its easy time tracking and productivity monitoring. It integrates well with tools like Asana and Trello. The detailed reports help in optimizing workflows and tracking team performance.

Cons:

What I liked least about Hubstaff is the occasional lag in the app, especially during heavy usage. The interface can feel overwhelming at times with too many features.

Project time tracking and modification need improvement

Pros:

It is simple to use to track straight time when one does not track time by project.

Cons:

It is complicated and difficult to use to track time by project. Project time totals should display in real time in the app for each project. Also, there should be no delay in these totals appearing and updating on the web project tracking page. This should not take a batch update to display. In addition, it should be easy to adjust project time if needed; I have received no specific guidance on this and have no idea how to do it.

Comments: Our employees did not find it user-friendly to begin working on different tasks with the clock running, and would often forget to switch tasks -- which resulted in an inaccurate picture of how they were spending their shifts.

Pros:

Hubstaff worked well for managing employee clock-in and clock-out, providing reports on how each team member was doing.

Cons:

Our employees would often forget to clock back in after breaks. We ultimately switched away from Hubstaff because we found a solution that worked better for our team.

Great Product for Remote Employees

Comments: My overall experience with Hubstaff has been great. The program is cost effective and a great way to monitor remote employees.

Pros:

I love using Hubstaff for our remote employees. It gives me access to see screenshots of what they are working on, assign tasks, job cost their time, and easily see what I need to pay each employee.

Cons:

The only thing I do not like about Hubstaff is the desktop version needs to be downloaded to utilize the full services that hubstaff offers. I have to explain this to new employees, and some do not want to download the application.

Excellent App

Comments: Overall is a good tool for time tracking, is very easy to use.

Pros:

The reminders they send everyday about your productivity, your worked hours and in case you dont log in they also send you an email.

Cons:

Sometimes we are in meetings and we are not using the computer and if we dont move the mouse the hubstaff will change you to Idle and that is not fair because we are in front of the computer.

Comments: I can use this a million times over any other software when it comes to time management and time tracking for projects!!

Pros:

I absolutely love Hubstaff for managing time on projects. Just to ensure we finish on time or are heading in the right direction with time management. I also love that is is compatible with Windows 8 & higher!!

Cons:

Sometimes I have issues with invoices but it has only happened 3-4 times in the 3 years i've been using this software.

Disgraceful change of pricing

Comments: Hubstaff is a greedy company not respecting yearly plans. Invoicing is shady, you keep on being charged without explanation.

Pros:

Hubstaff is a good product, but messy. Not precise enough with time tracking. Misleading.

Have Been Using Hubstaff for a while now

Pros:

I love Hu staff and how It integrates well with Clickup, but wish there was more power in scheduling to-dos for my team in the future, and not where it is generic to-dos everytime

Activity tracking is buggy and doesn't work 100%
