I was excited of the prospect of managing candidates and employees from application throughout their employment lifecycle in one system that includes Payroll and Benefits. > > **Cons**: The inability of Paycom to talk to itself in a way that will carry an application (or multiple applications) into the offer and then the employee file, or to access the data that you know is housed in the system. Even when using the Advanced Report Writers I have found multiple times that I can't get to the information needed in a report even though it can be found on a display (i.e. the docid assigned to uploaded onboarding documents for the selfie with I9 is only available in the Supervisor signature, and in most cases our Supervisor's do not acknowledge those until the first day of class and we need to review them earlier on the onboarding team, and I haven't been able to find one other place where this information can be seen even though by logic you would know one has been assigned.) While it appears that Paycom makes an attempt to keep things simple, there needs to be more of an Admin/ Developer access that can be granted that would essentially allow access to all data even backend such as the aforementioned IPs and docids if needed. > > Reported issues are responded to and noted as fixed, only for us to find they have not been corrected (i.e., a recent Paycom update caused the New Hire Audit Report to now pull Administrator IPs over identified as Employee IPs).
