Great mailing platform
Comments: Easy to setup, I like how they instruct you to setup your mailing domain in an optimal way and guide you through the process.
Pros:
The overall design of the platform as well as the email builder is one of the best i've seen. It makes it possible for even novice users to design templates and send email campaigns.
Cons:
Price is a bit high compared to some open source and self hosted options like OemPro but for a SASS product its still pretty good.
Alternatives Considered:
A great service for a small price
Comments: Great DX for the integration, familiar UI, great analytics, honest pricing, possibility to send SMS. The product I was looking for, recommended.
Pros:
- Easily create email templates with web-based editor - Great analytics for your emails - Easy API integration
Cons:
- Cannot buy a dedicated IP unless you send 150k emails/month, I'd like to build my reputation from now
Used to be great, until they outsourced support...
Comments: Used to work great, migrated away from Mailchimp to Mailjet and for nearly 4 years, every week we sent out mailers successfully to over 75 000 subscribers. Until one subscriber complained (despite all our subscribers being opt-in) And support consisted of folks who can only reply scripted responses and not English as a first language. Without us explaining, they simple throttled our send limits. The irony is. THEIR wordpress plugin handles subscriptions, but support wants to know how customers subscribe to our mailing list. After explaining 3 times that its via a form that is setup by their very own plugin. Support shifts the goal posts. Anyway, we run a business and have no patience to deal with inept call center drones who treat customers like crap. We promptly cancelled. Not surprising they dont even have a retentions system. Now moved over to Email Octopus & Amazon AWS - never better, support is not only responsive but takes the time to actually read and have a human respond, not a copy and paste drone reply.

poor customer service. lousy rules and no loyalty to a 4+ year old client.

MailJEt Review
Comments: Overall, my experience is positive. I wish there was a way to customize image padding (more than what's available, once it's been inputted in. Another function that can use some work would be the spacing between paragraphs. It would be nice to be able to create different spacing within the same text box without all of the text adapting to the same space size. Otherwise, uploading contact lists and creating email templates has been seamless.
Pros:
I like that it's easy to use and pretty intuitive for first time users.
Cons:
What I like least is you can't control the optimization of mobile design, that it'll automatically scale larger or smaller than a phone screen. You can't design for one platform (desktop) without considering how it'll appear on mobile, since it's not mobile optimized.
Alternatives Considered:
One of the best news letter service
Comments: Overall they are offering good services in the budget if you want to build and send a newsletter weekly.
Pros:
Easy to use newsletter builder included, Can test the service a free plan including 6000 mails per month. Can be used as a mail delivery service such as an SMTP.
Cons:
Required monthly subscription if you are sending more than 6000 emails per month. Somehow costly as compared to other services.
Alternatives Considered:
Mailjet was challenging
Comments: Overall I left Mailjet. The cost involved was too high. Customer service was not great. The interface was nice but didn't out weight the cons.
Pros:
Mailjet was a great resource for creating engaging emails. The creative tools for making emails were very easy to use. Creating powerful engaging emails was very quick and the end result was exactly what I was looking for on the creation side of the platform.
Cons:
So unfortunately I was unable to continue using Mailjet. The cost involved is pretty competitive but still very expensive. I came into some problems with a few of my emails and the customer service was underwhelming. They made things very challenging. I missed a few planned emails with specific deadlines due to not being made aware of the problems going on. Unacceptable. So I switched.

An outstanding and sensational Email Marketing Tool.
Pros:
Mailjet is an ideal tool for creating and sending emails marketing campaigns and newsletters. It is simple to engage with our customers seamlessly with Mailjet.
Cons:
I haven't encountered any shortcomings with Mailjet because it meets my needs.
My Experience With MailJet
Pros:
I like the email verification features It comes with helpful email marketing and automation features.
Cons:
Mailjet has offered all we needed for email marketing.
Great for Basic Email Marketing
Comments: Mailjet has all the basics and does them well if you need a solid email marketing platform with no frills. You can create, edit, manage, schedule and optimize with ease.
Pros:
I like how easy it is to learn how to use Mailjet. In just a few short hours, I felt like I was a pro at navigating the platform as well as creating and updating new emails to send to my contact lists. If you've worked with website or email platforms before, Mailjet will be a breeze for you to learn.
Cons:
We have run into some issues with the size of our email lists and high bounce rates and then we are unable to send as many emails as we need. But, after troubleshooting and contacting support, those issues were easy to fix and we were back to regular email marketing for our clients. We send emails to new email lists all the time, so it's best for our delivery rates if we send emails to new lists at the same time as lists we've sent to before. Sometimes, the email editor feels a little clunky, and I have to make font, color or other style changes a certain way to make them exactly how I want. But in the end, I'm always able to create a solid email that delivers well and gives me easy-to-understand metrics after delivery.
Mailjet is easy to use
Pros:
Mailjet is a good email solution, the good value for money is there
Cons:
the solution seems a bit technical on the API part
Everything seemed nice, until they froze my account
Pros:
We chose Mailjet because it had packages based on the amount of messages sent. We do not store any contacts and we only use this service for transactional emails. It also comes with an easy-to-use API.
Cons:
We were using Mailjet for our service. One day, we received an email that our account has been compromised and it was suspended. We tried to contact their support team multiple times over 7 days, asking them to give us some more information about the emails that were being sent. We also informed them that we changed our password and our API keys. They didn't even reply to us and they closed our tickets, damaging our product.
Alternatives Considered:
Transactional Email That Covers 90% Of Use Cases
Comments: MailJet has been a drop in replacement for Madrill. It has been more than adequate for all of my transactional emailing needs.
Pros:
After using MailJet as a replacement for Mandrill for the last 2 years, I can fully recommend it. I use it for transactional email and I can send 6000 per month on the free tier. More than enough for my use case. I like the templates and templating language. Setting up sender domains and authenticating them is a doddle. Using the API is also painless with the excellent API documentation.
Cons:
The only thing I dislike is that there are almost too many options. This isn't a bad thing per se, but I have probably only used about 25% of the available tools/reporting etc. I also have no need for the campaign tools and would prefer it if Mailjet only concentrated on transactional emails.
A very basic service that is seriously lacking in terms of marketing
Comments: To be honest, I used to own the most advanced autoresponder service on the market. It was designed around marketers' needs and did its job to perfection. I sold the company a few years ago and have been operating manually ever since. This is not a good way to run an online business so I searched for an affordable email marketing service and was recommended to try Mailjet. I even had someone from our local chamber of commerce come to the company to show me how to set it up. That alone should speak volumes about its user unfriendliness because if someone who had developed similar software couldn't understand it, what chance does the common man have? The fact that they refuse questions from potential customers has to be the icing on the cake. I mean, can you imagine walking into a store and asking a salesman a question about an item you are interested in purchasing, only to receive the reply "Sorry but we only accept questions from existing customers."? It is a shame because I would happily work with them to take their product to an entirely new level. As things stand, their system is overly complicated and unnecessarily so. It doesn't cost much because it doesn't offer very much.
Pros:
When compared to competing services, its pricing is quite competitive.
Cons:
The interface is far from intuitive, especially if you have used other services in the past. Much of it does not work as it is supposed to. You can waste a lot of time repeating actions until the system finally reacts. Server response is incredibly slow. Most of the most important functions needed to use the system for marketing purposes are missing. As a potential customer trying the software with a view to becoming a permanent user, you may not contact support. They literally refuse all questions from potential customers!

Good value for money
Comments: Overall, I am very much glad to have a pocket friendly marking too.
Pros:
It is easy to get started with all the options and the best feature is to schedule the emailers. Also, the reports are good enough for normal email marketing.
Cons:
There should be a feature to show the click heat map, that would be helpful is getting better insights on writing the emailer content and links etc.
Mailjet from a Person who is not techie
Comments: The problems solved by using Mailjet include: - Sending large volumes of emails quickly and reliably - Automating email campaigns - Managing contacts and lists - Creating targeted segmented campaigns - Scheduling emails and newsletters - Setting up custom tracking and reporting - Ensuring deliverability of emails - Curating email templates - Integrating with other applicationsThe benefits of using Mailjet include: - Cost-effective pricing plans - Easy-to-use interface - Comprehensive deliverability and reporting features - Support from a dedicated team of email experts - Advanced segmentation and automation capabilities - Robust security features - Flexible API integrations - Ability to personalize emails for maximum engagement - Comprehensive set of templates for creating professional emails quickly and easily.
Pros:
-Mailjet offers a wide range of features and options for email marketing. This includes things like email automation, real-time analytics, and A/B testing. -The service is easy to use and provides excellent customer support. -Mailjet is highly secure, making sure that your emails are safe from malicious attacks.
Cons:
-Mailjet can be more expensive than other services, depending on the plan you choose.-The service does not offer an unlimited number of emails, so if you need to send a large volume of emails, it may not be the best option.
We've had multiple problems with Mailjet cutting us off or going down but like the ability to search
Pros:
Ability to search by email address to see the list of emails sent. What's great is that it shows the email subject and status so you can show what was sent, when and when it was delivered. The hooks are ok
Cons:
Very manual process to get someone unblocked and can be slow. If they are blocked, you still get charged for the email. The email doesn't get queued, so it's lost... We've also had a problem with our server config so that it sent thousands of email requests to an email address that didn't exist (the mx record didn't even exist!!). We didn't receive an alert of this and got charged hundreds of pounds. We note that with SendGrid we can just click a button to unblock someone. Saves so much time and makes our clients happy. We're considering swapping to be honest; but they don't show the email subject
So horrible I had to create an account here just to write a review!
Comments: Horrible, horrible, horrible.
Pros:
The design / looks were the only positive that I could take. While the product is extremely irritating due to the limited functionality and horrible product thinking, the UI/UX designers have done a good job.
Cons:
Oh, so much. Here are a few things that it falls short in when compared to other mass emailers:1. Contacts management: You have very limited options in the way you want to upload / edit contacts. The multi-editing options are a joke, and there is no way you can send emails to some contacts in a list instead of all. Also, even to remove a contact from a list, you need to upload a freaking CSV file! I mean, did they never use their own product after creating it?2. The campaign editing options are extremely limited even in a paid version. Glad that I never paid them a buck.3. Creating contact properties is a big pain due to the functionality.4. Their email templates are a joke.5. Extremely limited options when designing emails.
Mailjet the best current mailing tool.
Comments: My experience as a Mailjet client has been wonderful both personally and professionally, especially in the company where we have the need to send notifications, advertising campaigns and promotional emails whose processes are evaluated in real time and also have the advantage that These shipments will be customized.
Pros:
Mailjet is a very easy to use platform with very striking features, where I can observe all the results of the campaigns that are carried out, which allows us to use all the past content that is stored securely, all this historical we analyze it and We use to optimize our future strategies. A very interesting feature of this system is that we can send transactional and marketing emails from the same platform without incurring additional expenses.
Cons:
I suggest that the customer support provided by Mailjet can be improved in the advisory aspect, however this does not prevent it from being considered a platform that is well structured.
Mail In A Hurry!
Pros:
There is an extensive and wide variety of email templates that allow you to send and receive emails based around marketing campaigns and/or automated messages, I love that it allows you to add and remove people to the structure of your math emails. Also, you can lock the email itself and only allow certain permissions to certain people so it gives each person a role that you give access via the mail jet system
Cons:
This is definitely a more fifth Decatur set up, this will work excellent with B2b but it’s not self owned start-up business focused.
MailJet, you get what you pay for.
Comments: All I can say, is try and fine a phone number of email address for technical support ANYWHERE. Your only contact is through the support form, which would be great if they didn't take 2 days to get back to you. 2 days is two days too long if you send out 12,000 emails and all of the links don't work as happened to us. When you use MailJet, they do some kind of redirecting, probably so they can capture analytics. At 10:44 we ran our final test and it worked. At 11:00 we launched 12,000 and every hyperlink was broke. First thing the next morning I ran a test again and the links worked on that. Been trying to get a hold of Mail Jet all morning while my customer if fielding angry emails and calls from the recipients. It's a huge embarrassment and frustration for all of us. Now ask me if the $7.50 per month price is a good deal or not? Oh, and this is not the first time we've needed help and gotten into this bind. We will be switching once we manage this emergency.
Pros:
Very cheap tool. $7.50 per month for up to 30,000 emails.
Cons:
Cheap. Tech support is a minimum of a day from responding and you probably won't get much out of them. Outsourcing or cloud doesn't work if the vendors don't respond to your urgent issues on a timely basis. How about a tech support phone number, chat, email address????? Bump the price up to $10/month and actually provide something.
Amazing and powerful email marketing tool!
Comments: With Mailjet email marketing has become very easy for us. The newsletter editor is amazing and helps us build the best ones for our prospects. We are able to track and observe our clients which helps us reach them in a better way. It has also reduced our spam rates. Maintaining contact lists has never been easier. Overall a great experience with the platform.
Pros:
The platform is very easy to use and I can build email campaigns quickly and efficiently. It allows multiple team members collaborate which makes it convenient. It's drag and drop feature helps make the email templates better to work with. One of the best feature is that we can track and monitor all the emails sent.
Cons:
The platform lacks email templates options which could be increased. The pricing is a little expensive compared to other platforms, but the free plan also works pretty good.
Mailjet review by Jen
Pros:
Email marketing has become more important and actually a necessity. This product works and is easy to use. Customer service dept has knowledgeable people. The Template-based emails are eye catching and eye pleasing.
Cons:
If there were a rating for mobile compatibility I would rate this product 3/5. The screen display adjusts with every click as if it can't decide on which size to choose. An improper size wouldn't bother me as much as the constant adjustment.
No Change in Shared IP
Pros:
The software is good and easy to use, one can easily understand
Cons:
Wrong analytics shown while using API or smtp, suppose if you use smtp to your own test email address, if you are sending to 10 email address and if you open only one email address, it will shown around 4 to 5 instead of one. Secondly now a days it was noticed that they are not changing the shared IP, due to which the deliverability of inbox is constantly decreasing and mails are getting to Spam. The issue most probably comes when you use SMTP for sending emails
They have no support at all.
Comments: I raised a ticket #1312623. It’s been four days and they won’t reply. So I raised another ticket for asking why they are not replying. The issue was quite urgent. Then in a very short time, I saw the ticket was closed. So they have time to close my ticket, but they don’t have time or they don’t want to reply to a ticket. Very interesting. Their attitude of doing nothing is the worst and the rudest I’ve ever seen in my years of working with several email service companies. And I see that they blame this to the pandemic. But many other good companies, they are not doing this. Your problem is your problem, don’t try to blame someone else. So, please DO NOT buy it, consider others.
Pros:
Cheap in price. Normal dashboard. Kind of easy to use.
Cons:
The support center is a joke. Once you paid, you get no one support.

Faultless Service
Comments: It's a solid relay service which I can wholeheartedly recommend.
Pros:
It's an excellent mail service that I've had zero problems with. No outages, nothing. Which means I have no headache in trying to get something to work or maintain it.
Cons:
Nothing, I honestly can't think of anything other than it's not free, but I pay a pittance for what I do get to use, which I can't complain about because it's so well priced.
