Best backup tool i have experienced

Comments: I have used the free version for over 5 years and i like the advanced full version now, am quite happy with this solution that i became a partner to create awareness around the country on how good the tool is for system admins.

Pros:

Office 365 functionality not available for backups

Great product, been using for years!

Comments: Overall its a great product and has worked flawlessly for me and my customers for years. I think I started using your backup 5 or 6 years ago. I've installed on 75 computer systems for myself and my customers. Love the product.

Pros:

I like the type of backups available, I mostly use the hard drive image and backup to FTP server. I've used your boot disk to recover multiple systems where hard drives have crashed, via the drive image/clone backup. Worked great. Also like that it can run a service, just have to make sure that you setup to run as administrator. There are just many great features incorporated into your software.

Cons:

The one thing that really gets to be a pain, is if you insert a thumb drive or any other device that changes the disk layout. All scheduled backups fail during the list disk part of the backup, cause the disk layout has changed. Even though the drive letters remain the same. Would be great if you could solve that problem. Thats the only con that I have at this time..

30 new versions installed to try to fix a Windows Server incremental backup issue to Microsoft OneDrive

Comments: I purchased the software and the ease of installation and setup for use with Mcrosoft OneDrive.
The compressed and protected backups of a Windows server have always worked but unfortunately I immediately had problems with the incremental backups and had to pay for support.
They were very friendly and helpful but I have since installed over 30 new versions to try and fix the problem!
Now I hope it is solved...

Pros:

Easy installation and setup. Very light application.

Cons:

Paid support. Difficulty setting up the software for use with Microsoft OneDrive.

Iperius Backup

Comments: Excellent, and when support was needed, it was available.

Pros:

Affordable, easy to use, reliable. Simple licensing that just works without hassle and without nthe possibility that it can just stop working if the licensine server is unavailable.

Cons:

Inability to span tapes. I could use the product on some more sites if it were able to handle multiple tapes or tape drives.

Comments: Pretty good. It does what we need it to in our environment.

Simplicity, features and cost. Nice to not be paying absurd amounts for a piece of software these days...

Cons:

The interface could use a makeover. It's a bit dated, but works fine.

it's easy to use and above all it's in Italian, what I needed was to save hyper-v virtual machines in a simple way and Iperius does it.

Cons:

You cannot perform an incremental backup of a Hyper-V virtual machine unless you boot from the machine itself.

Iperius Backup - little know gem of a product

Comments: Overall we select this product as our "go to" backup application for new clients.

Pros:

Iperius is a very cost effective solution. It is the only backup solution we offer clients now.

Cons:

Backing up Exchange server VMs is more complicated than it should be.

Iperius works well and great pricing

Comments: We needed a reliable inexpensive backup solution to fit many scenarios and Iperius fits that very well. We backup data, VMs, full hard drives, I've restored VMs in a matter of hours, restored individual databases in minutes, its great software, and the free version works for most needs but we use paid for VMs. Support has always been responsive

Pros:

We use Iperius for daily backups of all out data, both full daily drive backups and VMs with full then incremental. We backup to a NAS which Iperius does without any issues. i get daily emails and good logs of the backups to easily troubleshoot any issues

Cons:

The scheduler defaults do not work for use, but its easily adjusted

Total Backup Solution

Comments: Backups, Images saved without issues, Restore backups and images even without issues. I‘m using and therefor selling Iperius-Backup since 2016. At least yesterday ;)

Pros:

No problem in storing data/image from hardware PC up to virtual Sever and machines (VM).

Cons:

Easy install, update and transite licences, working tool without issues and a fair pricing.

LT0 tape backup

Comments: Tape backup good, but needs more development.

Pros:

Fully featured product supported by international company

Cons:

Backup to tape not fully developed. For example, computer shuts down before tape can be fully ejected, results in jammed cartridges.

Restore

Pros:

No agent is required in the VM.It can backup EXSi without vcenter.

Cons:

The restore of backup set was not working.

Comments: Excellent support

Pros:

Great for looking after computers for Backup and also remote control

Cons:

Nothing, it did everything I wanted plus more.

I have been using this software on 20-30 computers and it runs like a charm everywhere.

Comments: It allows us effortlessly handle all our clients backup needs.

Pros:

It has just the right mix of features and simplicity. There are enough features to handle almost any backup scenario but not so many that the software becomes difficult to use.

Cons:

There are a few places where buttons don't follow Windows default layout recommendations which can be a bit confusing. But not much to complain about really.

good backup software

Comments: the software was relatively easy to install. after getting around a couple of glitches on figuring out how to configure network backups, everything went fine. it also runs very quickly.

Pros:

this software is fast. it's easy to install and use. it backs up just about anything you need to backup.

Cons:

it was a little hard to get access to certain network drives and files, but after i figured that out, everything went well.

I've implemented this backup software for some of my particular costumers

Pros:

Version free for file backup is very good and stable, and it´s capable to give IP admins the option to get backups with certain backup policies for retention. If you have a DB engine and it is capable to backup itself to a file, this can be backed up with same policies

Cons:

The way to organize incremental or differential backups is not easy to understand, maybe you are expected to get a file for each day the backup task is configured and the validity of it, and this is not in that way

Pros:

Straight to the point, the interface walks you straight through the setup. More text based the gui. Personally i perfer this.

Cons:

Have to add users in the ftp server seperately. Would be nice to have this functionality built in.

Comments: Value based professional solution that meets and exceeds my needs.

Pros:

Very simple and intuitive, yet boasts a robust feature set. Software is cost effective without sacrificing features. There is a version for every situation I have come across. Support is very responsive.

Powerful and Easy!

Great availability of features and choice of backup (VMs, exchange backup, SQL server backup), among many destinations (ftp, NAS, cloud [e.g. Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive]).

Cons:

There are a few places where buttons don't follow Windows default layout recommendations which can be a bit confusing. But not much to complain about really.

Our backup tool of choice

Comments: Iperius backup has always been our go-to tool to get simple A-to-B backup(scheduled) achieved, reliably!

Pros:

Great tool that has just enough functionality but not too much so as to be over-complicated for the goal to be achieved

Cons:

There is nothing that sticks out, perhaps the unique pc code during installation, just a minor extra step when it comes to deploying... "could" be time consuming if deploying on a few machines at a time.
