Great for content management

Pros:

Clean UI with an easy search function. The built in AI function categorizes images based on the image itself and not user inputted descriptions.

Cons:

As of now, there are no cons that have stood out to me as a end user.

Easily Searchable Digital Assets

Comments: Customer service is excellent. On-boarding is very detailed, and they make sure that you have the knowledge needed for a successful integration. Great product that saves us so much time when searching through our photos.

Pros:

MediaValet makes it easy to make our photo and video assets available to everyone at our organization. It is easily searchable by keywords, so people can find what they need on their own.

Cons:

When there are categories under other categories, when people click on the main category, there are no assets shown in the window. They have to click on the sub-categories below the main category. Instead of a blank window (which leads people to think there are no assets in that category), it should bring up a clickable list of subcategories.

Fred Rogers Productions - Three Years with Media Valet

Comments: We had a frustratingly bad DAM which made us appreciate Media Valet even more. The site is intuitive and the staff is accessible.

Pros:

Their Customer Success people have helped us get the most out of our DAM.

Cons:

Nothing immediately comes to mind. The site is rarely, if ever not accessible.

We love MediaValet!

Comments: I've had a lovely experience working with and using the MediaValet platform. Our internal team has an easy time using the DAM, while our partners love receiving our branded portals. It makes sharing assets a smooth process for all who are involved.

Pros:

How easy it is to keep all of your assets organized.

Cons:

Honestly, there isn't anything that comes to mind.

Intuitive navigation

Comments: It's been an easy transition from my previous DAM to MediaValet.

Pros:

MediaValet is very easy to navigate, and intuitive to learn. One of the features I like the most is the ability to save individual files to multiple categories, rather than having to upload them several times to individual files.

Cons:

I think the color scheme makes some of the functions hard to see.

A great choice for asset management, and looking forward to improvements

Comments: Overall I've found it to be adequate, but I've received secondhand feedback from colleagues that it's not as intuitive as they had hoped. Many of our colleagues also just don't use it, which indicates it's not easy for everyone.

Pros:

Customizable portals, lots of meta data, tracking capabilities, and supports a variety of formats.

Cons:

Somewhat clunky format, limitations on changing file names, no real mobile solution. Search function doesn't work as well as it should.

A Necessary Tool

Comments: Overall, MediaValet has been a fantastic and necessary tool to organization our companies digital assets. I wish I had more time to discover and implement all of it's capabilities.

Pros:

There are lots of organizational and customizable options available making it easy to create options that work for your company.

Cons:

The search engine needs some fine tuning. Infrequent users that don't know the inventory well often are unable to track down what they are looking for. Hopefully the AI implementation of visual recognition will help with this in the new Hot DAM. I would also love the option to upload associated assets that DO NOT show in a search. We have editable files that we don't want everyone to easily access.

Easy to use, easy to customize

Comments: Overall, I would easily recommend MediaValet to anyone who is looking to take on a Digital Asset Management system.

Pros:

We appreciate that MediaValet makes organizing and accessing our images and videos a breeze. The new AI features as well have really added to our ease of access for finding specific images. Also, the ability to create custom templates to download images in different resolutions and dimensions is fantastic.

Cons:

I know that it is just in BETA, but the UI between the classic version of MediaValet and the new AI powered HOTDAM is too different that it causes issues for users to re-adjust their understanding of the platform

Comments: From loggin, search, find, and download files; theres a great experience on every step. Info and details are included too in order to make a fast job in the portal

MediaValet Makes Finding Content Easy

Pros:

MediaValet makes finding content very easy, through search, OCR, text recognition, facial recognition, etc. Sorting content by tagging and labeling is more effective than the filesystem approach we had been using.

Cons:

I’m still learning about MediaValet, but it would be great if there was a more streamlined way to quickly upload, tag, and categorize new files, as the existing process can be lengthy when needing to add many types of new content all at once.

Easy To Use and Very Help Customer Service

Pros:

Since we've launched MediaValet, we've level-ed up our digital assets maintenance and also helped open up access to them across the company. It's been a game-changer for our marketing team and has been a great way to keep everything well organized. We've also utilized the CDN linking and CI hub a lot in our projects. The customer service from our rep,[sensitive content hidden], to the support team has been fantastic as well. I've appreciated their thoroughness and quick response times! We've had a great experience from onboarding to using the platform for over 2 years now.

Cons:

Would love for a mobile version of MediaValet. This would greatly help our sales teams use it more when on the road or working with a customer in the field.

This has been the best way to store and navigate our pattern library and other design assets by far! Originally tried using Adobe Bridge and it was a horrible experience and our files and volume of patterns was too much for our local drive to handful

Pros:

Love the amount of storage and the amount of organization tools it offers. Very easy to view and share assets with team and other departments. Love the clean interface (very user friendly)

Cons:

I wish the amount of clicks needed could be minimized, specifically when searching. Sometimes MV will freeze/lock up and I have to refresh the page. Sometimes I'm unable to expand folders

Comments: We have a lot of employees who work from two computers, and by having their information in Mediavalet they can synchronize their laptops and their computers, reducing the need for the technical department to offer a solution to synchronize multiple devices. Charge of it
Some of them we did like, but there would have to be equipment that was brought in to hold the assets and such, which would be ok, but then we would have to maintain the equipment. And then if there is an equipment issue we would likely have to wait for a representative to come fix it and hope it works. Just too much hassle for something we basically wanted to put assets on and keep them there for distribution.

Has a disc Virtual hard work where you can work freely, in almost any Computer, you only need an internet access account. - Can Share files with anyone without needing to be added to the mail. - The folders Shared can only be seen by people you invite. - Being a Online service you can access the files from any pc by entering account.

Cons:

You can only synchronize what is inside the folder that is created automatically. When sharing files you should not work on it at the same time as it creates conflict and duplicates the file.

Comments: I use Mediavalet weekly to access NSC information for customers.

Pros:

How I can search for the content i need and download easily to send out to customers.

Good platform for housing company info. I have been happy with all of the content and how it is accessed within the site. no problems

Quality content

Comments: I am amazed by the convenience it brings to our lives, I have been using it for a long time and recommend it to my colleagues.

Pros:

Overall I saved time and money. Finding and accessing files is very easy, you can categorize everything.

Cons:

It would be really helpful to download all the marked ones at once instead of downloading them one by one.

Pros:

Easy to use & navigate. This is being used by one of our vendors and was shared with me as a way to access content

Cons:

Nothing comes to mind, it was user friendly and I was using it to access content so didn't have to dive in too deep

One of the best marketing solutions out there!

Comments: Media Valet has been great for our business marketing. Searching for images, videos, illustrations via the various stock images sites was very time consuming. Using media valet has saved us the headache of seemingly endless searches. In addition, purchasing stock photos that may only be used a single time is expensive. Media Valet has saved us quite a bit in those fees.

Pros:

Love that Media Valet saves us an enormous amount time and money! Files within are so organized that your search can be broken down by not only categories (photos, videos, logos etc) but also categories within categories! Also love that downloads of even the highest resolutions are quick and easy.

Cons:

What I like least about it if I HAD to pick something would be if I have several large hi res files in a lightbox and want to download them in a zip file, it does take longer than downloading individually.

My franchise uploads all of the approved content and I can edit it to my needs and liking. Super easy to use!

Cons:

I've had no problems using the service. It could be a little more user friendly to make it easier to know what I'm looking for.

User Friendly

Pros:

It is easy to locate the information that I need and quickly download any documents or graphics.

Cons:

It isn't very easy on the eyes, having a somewhat "dated" appearance. It has nothing to do with it's functionality though, but a more modern look might be more attractive for new users.
