A great cost-effective device protection solution.

Comments: The licenses are billed annually at a very good and economical price because it also offers web protection in the browser, email, anti-spam and attacks from external intruders. The protection is complete and has great performance on devices without crashing or failing.

Pros:

The Trend Micro Smart Protection Complete Suite solution has everything we need to protect devices such as corporate computers and notebooks against intruders, worms, viruses and also hacker attacks. The system is simplified and easy to use for scheduling daily scans, fault finding, outdated software and viruses.

Cons:

The system has some bugs in the smartphone version but we use it as the main one in Windows on the workstations. I don't see another problem.

Recommended if you don't mind support delays.

Comments: The product has a long history, and many release cases and the knowledge on the Internet is also considerable. With this in mind, it is easy to introduce and operate in environments and situations where it is not possible to spend too much on the cost of security operations and where experience and knowledge can go back to the past. Security precautions are also taken by restricting communication with firewalls etc, but I think the stability of antivirus software is very important. As a user, I feel that the existence of this antivirus software gives me a sense of security. Although we update the server machine's version once a year, the client terminal automatically gets the information in the form of definition files, so we can keep the system up to date with almost no effort. I think it's also convenient as it's easy to see each client's computer's registry. For companies that don't want to spend a lot on installation, management, and operating costs.

Cons:

However, the support is terrible. The response speed, quality, registration request settings, information collection, etc. are inferior to the above.

Trend Micro not software friendly with other programs

Comments: This program functions fine for the home user that isn't running business software that it could possibly be incompatible with. I didn't have any problem with the software on a laptop that didn't have my billing software on it.

Pros:

This software is easy to install across multiple devices and easy to use. The renewal process is easy and quick. Visually, it's easy to find what you want to do.

Cons:

This program seemed to be interfering with my medical billing software and causing it to freeze up at very inconvenient times. After researching this among other users of the medical billing software I found that others experienced the same issues with it causing the billing software to freeze up. I had to uninstall this software because of it's interference with the billing software.

I don't have a whole lot to say about it but that it did it's job.

My biggest complaint was the installation seemed to be a bit long. Other software seems to install quicker which is important at a client with 200+ computers.

Great product, designed to be easy to use

Comments: It has helped cut down on the spam that I would normally get in my email. I dont have as much issues as I did with other products that slowed down my computer in the past. I look forward to more products that TrendMicro will be developing in the futuer and trying them out.

Pros:

Easy to install and set up. Has provided the protection that it is supposed to. I have only had one issue with the software in the 2 years of using it and that was when I was setting it up initially. Their team at the support number was there for me and walked me through making sure that the software was working properly. Been using it ever since almost 2 1/2 years. Glad to have found this product and been able to make it a part of the protection I use on a regular basis. I would recommend to colleagues to use as part of their Anti-Spam/Virus protection.

Cons:

Hard to find any thing that I didn't like about this software. It has provided all the protection that I have needed along with the other products that I use. Over all its a great product

This application has many Pros, but the most important thing is that it keeps annoying unwanted emails at bay, I really like its ease of installation, its friendly interface. I have been using products from this company for years and they are synonymous with quality.

I think the updates are not as frequent as they are with other products of this same brand. but it is something that can be solved without major problem. It really is difficult to get negative aspects to this useful tool

This was a little complicated as far as putting down our company compliance and basic business and email processes. Ifr your computer savvy then it will be easy but if not find someone who isw help with the process. Every department has different processes..

Comments: My overall experience about this software is fantastic, the best module of this software is the alert monitoring which gives you the complete visibility of threat monitoring on a single dashboard.

Pros:

I like about this software is that it provide a variety of services which includes services like its threat hunting and its investigation services which provide the exact information about the cyber threats. Its dashboard is very impressive and very user-friendly you can find all the details about the endpoints on a single click.

Cons:

It's simple, reliable, keeps you protected all the time and does not use many system resources to run. It was easy to deploy on the server and even easier to distribute to all machines.

Nothing to add on cons, still have not had any malware issue in a machine so as far as I can see it is doing the job it's supposed to.

Protection for Mac

Pros:

A very well known brand name, trustworthy in its lists of spam/viruses. Updates to new virus lists often. Not that expensive

Makes mac a little clunky after install. Slows it down sometimes

I like that I can add what mail is unwanted to the list so it knows what to filter and can be continuously updated.

Cons:

The user interface is not user friendly in the least. It is hard to learn where things are and even when you do some of the things I use the most often are multiple steps to get to instead of just a click away to make it more expedient.

Comments: I used this program to solely protect my home computers are threats and viruses. It is easy to use and works well in the background. the add and block list is easy to use and helpful to keep out certain threats.
