Its model checking feature is also a game changer and gives greater conficence in one's created models (if you have the time to run it). > > **Cons**: I think the biggest con with Macabacus is the speed at which it runs for larger models. Some of the more complex models our company has take \>5 min to render things like visualizations. Auditing formulas can run a bit slow at times too for larger models. To that note, the model checking feature is really best for simple, smaller models I've found. More complex models can take hours for the checking tool to run which is fine if you have the time to run overnight, but more often than not there's a time crunch with little to no time to run the model checking feature. > > Overall, I really enjoy working with Macabacus. I use it every day and regularly recommend it to both my finance and non-finance colleagues.
