Pros:

And to have them all on my iPad so that I don't have to deal with huge stacks of paper. I don't 'integrate with business processes' because I don't have business processes, whatever they may be.

Cons:

I don't like that in addition for having paid an upfront fee to purchase the product, now I need to pay a subscription fee to have access to all features.

The closest to Digital Paper.

5.0 2 years ago

Comments: It has been a huge time saver for me, and is now the default reference & thinking tool I use when doing complex research.

Pros:

Great Interface, simple and easy to use. Using it on a digital pen enabled device, like a tablet layout input make it worthwhile. As one of those people who still loves scribbling and noting things down, having an easy tool is a big deal for me.

Cons:

While it can integrate with two of the most common reference managers, the ability to import would be nice. There are standardised formats out there, so its not dependent of these two.

Could be a little bit better, but still the best

5.0 last year

Comments: I switched from a free Apple app called Freeform just because of lack of features and I really took a good decision.

Pros:

It's collaborative features are very useful and great. Also other tools like note taking, PDF sticky notes kinda things, editing pdf, mind maping are great features to consider. Used this for about 5 months and it has a tons of features that I like. Great support for documents. Even I can import pptx files and edit them which is a must feature to have.

Cons:

Few things that can be added and are must to have:1. Document folder on main screen, so that we can categorize the document based on their purpose.2. User interface could be a little more user friendly. For a beginner, its a little bit hard to learn things.3. It's not available for android devices. Like atleast this must be available for samsung tab so that they can also get included in collaborative projects.

Can be useful but need some basic functionality added

3.0 last year

Comments: It has been helpful to take and organize notes. It reduces the time it takes to prep for writing a document. There are issues with the interface that make me hesitant to try more involved usage.

Pros:

It is a great way to use notecards without using notecards. I can take excerpts and notes and organize them to use in writing reports.

Cons:

The results of exporting notes is cumbersome - sections/workspaces are out of order and have to be rearranged. I would really like to be able to rename projects or duplicate them and rearrange them. I use on an iPad but the interface and controls sometimes feel like Unix/Linux poorly emulating a graphical user interface.

LiquidText- Seamless like liquid

4.0 last year

Comments: Found worth the subscription plan and a tons of features.

Pros:

Notes taking experience is good and also works in an imported doc. So works well for editing some too. Also, includes powerful features for every aspect like pdf editing, making notes, book reading and managing multiple docs at a time.As of my experience, I found this app getting better and better and new features are constantly added. There's no bug yet that I faced. Very smooth and fluid experience 👍

Cons:

There are multiple plans available which is a bit confusing. They should give a free 7 or 15 days trial to try out all the features and then decided whether plan to choose from.

Great for collaboration and maping down what I have in my mind

5.0 last year

Comments: I have notability and goodnotes and paid for them but still they were not able to fulfill my requirements but LiquidText did it well. I had recommended it to my friends and would say that you should definitely go for this.

Pros:

Best thing about the LiquidText is that I can link any topic in any pdf to a comment and whenever I click on that comment it locates me back to that portion of the pdf. Also the whiteboard helps me to store my all notes at one place.Collaborative features are also worth to mention as this make things a lot easier when it comes to working together with a team.

Cons:

Only issue I found was that I was unable to import my notability notes in LiquidText in note format. I had to first convert it into a pdf. This makes a little difficult to shift to LiquidText.

Feature rich but can be optimized more for small screen devices

4.0 last year

Comments: Probably the best available app for pdf and documents.

Pros:

It packs all the features required for PDF management. We can edit, collaborate, make notes, mind maps and commenting are regular used features and serves their purpose well. Helps a lot by supporting almost all document types and all of the documents can be stored at one place. Totally satiesfied with this purchase.

Cons:

On my iPad mini, this app can be more optimized in the terms of layout. Altough all features are great but buttons are a little bit small.

Great for collaboration and PDF

4.0 last year

Comments: It has those features which other applications doesn't provide. Would really recommend this to everyone.

Pros:

Linking feature is really great and helps to find any topic on the go while studying. One of the standout features of LiquidText is its ability to transform static PDFs into dynamic, interactive documents. The fluidity of the touch-based interface allows me to highlight, underline, and annotate text with precision. This is particularly valuable when reviewing medical research papers and patient records. The ability to easily rearrange and connect various sections of a document using the "ink workspace" is a huge plus. It helps me create visual summaries and connect key concepts in a way that's simply not possible with traditional paper documents or other PDF readers.

Cons:

It's price now has increased and most of the premium features are present only in more costly plans.

Best PDF experience with moderate note taking experience

5.0 last year

Comments: I personally found this feature rich and it does almost every document related need complete.

Pros:

It’s extraordinary ability to edit the pdf file is really nice and handy. Combination of all document related features is good. Haven’t used this feature a lot but the pointing kinda thing that we can link a topic of a pdf to a comment is really nice though. Collaborative feature are good also and I found this app the most advance one in whole Apple ecosystem to be honest. So, you can definitely go for this.

Cons:

1. it is not available for android which is really a headache.2. It’s note taking experience is not as good as Goodnotes and team should focus on improving this.3. Price of its plans is really high and some of the goodies is only available on those only.4. Document storing experience can be a little enhanced.

LiquidText Review - A Comprehensive Document Management Solution

4.0 last year

Pros:

LiquidText has revolutionized our document management. Its secure data storage and access control ensure data security. Collaborative features like real-time sharing and innovative ideation tools have boosted our productivity. While content management is efficient, some additional text editing options would be welcomed.

Cons:

While efficient, some users find LiquidText's content management options could be more intuitive or streamlined for smoother navigation.

Best for reviewing

4.0 3 years ago

Comments: Thank you for creating LiquidText! Ever since I started using LiquidText my studying & working jouney is more innovative. I love that you guys are putting a lot of effort in improving this app and that makes me want to continue using this app even more. Keep up!

Pros:

What I like about LiqidText is that it's very easy to write, organize, and review notes acorss the document. It's almost like studying with an actualy notebook & pen but much better because it's paper-less! Especially for intense studying or reviewing it is so helful. I am a professional who's always reviewing for different licensure exams and I need to take a lot of notes in a single document. Being able to take as much notes as possible without minding how much blank space I have in a page is a great feeling and it makes my reviewing more efficient & productive.

Cons:

I'm not very fond of the user interface. As a person who uses a lot of different apps (especially note-taking apps & PDF apps) in iOS, the user interface of LiquidText feels a bit out-dated. I would want it to be more modern and sophisticated so it's more motivating. Also the price is bit expensive to recommend to anyone. I have a lot of friends who are still students and they tend to purcahse cheaper apps even though LiquidText is great.

Overwhelming at first, but most powerful and versatile text tool I use

4.0 last year

Comments: At first I found LiquiText overwhelming. But after getting used to the environment and terminology, and very helpful improvements in the latest release, it’s been a huge help. I’ve used it both on some research projects and info related to recent health issues. I mostly gather PDF files and this is the best tool I’ve found to extract the information I need.

Pros:

Many functions and options. Brilliant concept and implementation. LiquidText lets me review/analyze material and highlight/annotate for future reference.

Cons:

Biggest issue is documented support, almost exclusively video. I’m surprised a product designed to work with text has minimal text support. Also, storage management, where data/files are stored and better options to minimize storage usage

Worth the annual subscription

5.0 last year

Comments: Less paper to store or print = environmental considerations. I can move quickly from desktop to mobile device and continue with whatever I am doing immediately.

Pros:

This has been a game-changer for research. Being able to annotate PDFs means less paper to store/recycle and mistakes are easily corrected. The workspace area is plenty big enough. I have recommended this to others in my class.

Cons:

Moving documents between folders is tedious.

Document Review and Management Magic

5.0 2 years ago

Comments: Really, it's a dream come true. I didn't know I needed it until I found it. Now I can't work without it.

Pros:

I love that I can organize, reference, and review hundreds of documents at once. I can organize ideas and memoranda, matching the law to the facts, and with links that immediately take me to the source document. It's magic! I love the ability to access my work across multiple devices!

Cons:

I have been worried a couple times that I had lost work. I didn't lose any work, but I thought I had before learning how to re-sync and recreate the table.
