The QR code was used over a 2-day period at a tradeshow. The remainder of the last 363 days, it was never used. A year later, they charged our credit card for another $100 something dollars without notice, although the account was clearly dormant. When I reached out to them 2 days later to get the account deactivated and to a get refund their response was: "Like other subscription providers, we incur ongoing costs related to your accounts, regardless of its actual usage. Therefore, the subscription needs to be cancelled before the renewal date. We're sorry for the inconvenience, but we are unfortunately unable to issue a refund." In short, we paid for 2 years worth of this tool to use during 2 days. Even the basic user experience feels outdated and unnecessarily complicated. If you value responsive service, ethical business practices, or even just a straightforward refund process, I’d strongly recommend exploring other options before committing to this one. Holding onto a small amount of money at the cost of their reputation feels incredibly short-sighted.
