About Discord
Online communication tool that allows video, audio, and text conversations, using public or private servers.
Discord is a unique service for community communication. Great features of bots and webhooks.
Discord doesn't really have any flaws, but still things that can be improved. Discord should continue to work on moderation, especially to prevent spam actions on public servers.

I Use Discord Every Day
Comments: I've used the basic version of Discord (no Nitro or anything fancy like that) for years now, and more recently have been using it for work due to Covid. It's been a great way to keep in touch in all cases. It's fast and easy and rarely goes down.I've also had the opportunity to moderate on a couple of servers. While there are certain very specific things that I wished were available, there was still a lot of room to personalize and add to the servers, and everything was relatively easy to learn with a few quick google searches.
Pros:
It is my main method of communicating with friends and family. Overall, it's fast to setup and easy to use, especially when you've had a few weeks to get used to the format.
Cons:
There are limitations for group chats and video channels. I don't know if you can get rid of these by paying, but they can be annoying when you want to get a group together but have one or two too many participants.

Discord review
Comments: Discord is a great app for communicating with team, or a large number of people. It helps us create a community and channel for specific topics leading to focused discussions.
Pros:
Discord is a versatile app that helps facilitate team communication in our organization. It allows users to create and manage communities that are created for specific purpose.
Cons:
It can be a little tricky to use and figure out especially for the first time users.
Terrible Screening & Terrible Customer Service
Comments: It is clunky at best for adding images to posts and joining audio or video sessions. I'm multiple groups and each group only has a small icon to ID it, so finding each group is difficult. So this latest experience really topped the cake. I am contemplating not using it anymore. And tomorrow I receive a new (used, but to me) PC I purchased mainly to be my dedicated Discord PC.
Pros:
Multiple forums available on one application.
Cons:
I have used Discord for about 5 years. A problem I have faced is scammers direct messaging me. Discord doesn't seem to be able to do anything about that. Last week I received an invitation to join a Discord forum by a vendor from whom I have purchased several hundred $-worth of product. I tried several times to join that forum on 2 different PCs. Because their service was lousy, they added insult to injury by suspending my account. I appealed 4 days ago -- crickets.
A free alternative to Slack and Teams
Comments: I'm a fan of Discord, and have been using it for 6+ years. We've switched to Discord from Slack and never looked back
Pros:
Free powerhouse alternative to Teams and Slack. Has a great ecosystem of bots and tools, that are all affordable.
Cons:
The DMs are outside the Server experience, taking a bit more time to find your team mates and colleagues.
Discord: Get your plate, and line up for the buffet.
Comments: Great. I've made many a memory on Discord, with friends, family and other people I've enjoyed talking too. It's the perfect place to socialize, work, joke, cry, enjoy and get stuff done on. Discord, I would say, is for you.
Pros:
Discord is a wonderful communication, community and call your friends a/an (INSERT CURRENTLY TRENDING OBSCURE TERM THAT NO ONE UNDERSTANDS UNTIL ITS NOT POPULAR ANYMORE) tool and space for everything you can think of. It's good for industry, keeping up with co workers tasks and and building community. It's good for just sending as many videos to each other until someone screams, or playing games with each other with screen sharing. This is the all-in-one package, with the total price of a pocket holes net worth. I recommend it, for everyone!
Cons:
File sharing... and occasionally bugs. Also having to troubleshoot your own mistakes and/or lack of knowledge. But that's pretty much it. There are occasionally (not very often) also bad bots who try to scam you, or send explicit content. But yeah, I would ask Discord to make file sharing more versatile for non-paid (Discord Nitro) users, but if not, it's still a good platform and tool.

Discord as the Main Communication Bridge in a Law Firm
Comments: It has been mesmerizing. Aside from the usual emails or platforms for productivity, Discord has provided us with an easy way to implement a solid communication bridge in our Law Firm. It is fast, well organized, and powerful. You're capable of building in Discord a complex server just as you need it to be and it will always work, you just have to be careful with permission management!
Pros:
How customizable servers can be and that it can easily be used in a computer or in a phone at any time and anywhere. Servers are basically a solution for really complicated and structured organisms such as a Law Firm. We deal with different areas, lots of people, different services. Before using discord it was an actual nightmare having to create groups for something different while on discord everything is not only at a single place but is well organized and structured. You can basically have the entire building in a single server and everyone will see what they need to see. No more, no less. It's a brilliant solution and it receives continues updates for both, mobile and desktop.
Cons:
What we have more issues with is probably connection and tags. The fact now tags have changed and there are no #0000 anymore makes it hard to have naming convections for work only profiles and when reaching outside of the server for Messaging or groups. Wishing the Law Firm server it hasn't been big problem due to the fact that names can be modified. Regarding connection we have noticed that calls or screen sharing needs a strong internet connection. On the office that's not much of an issue but in a fast environment and when calls have been the most urgent with people at the middle of the street, it hasn't been reliable.
GREAT TOOL FOR SMALL BUSINESSES!
Comments: Overall, Discord works great for my agency. Even though the platform isn't really for business use, small teams can benefit a lot from it and SAVE MONEY!
Pros:
Discord has really helped integrate internal communications in my small marketing agency. It keeps everyone close and easy to reach during working hours. We use the FREE version that already has all that we need.
Cons:
Not many people know about it, so usually there's a small learning period.
Discord Review
Comments: It is an application that I use both in my business and private life. I can easily communicate with my employees and friends and get my work done.
Pros:
It is very useful, simple and has rich content.
Cons:
There is nothing I don't like in the Discord application, frankly I am very satisfied.
Great at Meeting Others
Comments: My overall experience with Discord has been great. I have met many others that I would usually have never met. It's great at building a community of like-minded people that can share ideas.
Pros:
I like that Discord allows me to communicate with others around the world who are into the same thing as myself. I started my YouTube channel about building custom Knex coasters. It's hard to find information on this topic or meet others who do the same thing as me. Discord gives me the ability to ask questions or to help others who may have problems. I like that it's easy to use and available on pretty much every device.
Cons:
The one thing I dislike about Discord is the UI is difficult to learn. It does not give you a tutorial on how everything works.
Great way to communicate with colleagues or friends
Pros:
The capabality to mention a group of people just by name of the group is great.
Cons:
It was hard to figure out how to leave a group conversation.

Why Discord is the pinnacle of the more 'niche' online social scene
Comments: Discord is where all of my social interactions happen, where all of the most important events of my life transpire, and where I can cultivate my social circle the way I want using tools that allow me to take anyone from everywhere in the world, and speak to them not as a physical entity, but someone with a soul and feelings; the rawest sense of who you are as a person, your personality. I think this manages to take a lot of the domestications that life throws at us and filter them out, and I think that it produces an environment where more real, less fake friends can truly be made. This app has changed my life, and I really don't know what I would do without it. And I'm not just saying that as an admin of my own server, I'm saying it as a living, breathing person who needs love, affection, and to be recognized by others, just like everyone else. Whether or not you think you will find something within the world of the internet, just seeking friends and acquaintances out by tag or interest, there is somewhere on Discord where you can meet all the people who will see eye to eye with you; and if not, you can make that place yourself, and I assure, you, they will come.
Pros:
I like the organization of Discord. When I was a little bit younger I used to use other social media for chatting like Skype or Telegram, but they never had the utilization of servers or the ability to create your own. With Discord you can make your own server for whatever purpose you see fit, and all for completely free. It has benefits that you can reap by paying very small, negligible amounts of money monthly, and honestly, Discord is so well organized that you can replace your entire social life with it; without this program I really don't know what I would do; I live day to day trying to get by but whether it's a shared interest in a public server to chat with people around the world, gaming, streaming, or being close with friends and family, Discord is absolutely necessary for everything that makes up the bulk of the things I care about most in my day to day life. It can serve any kind of social purpose you intend, and beyond. It's often advertised as 'the gamer' version of social media, and rightly so. Anybody who's anybody should know how to use this program; it might seem a little odd at first, but it's really not rocket science.
Cons:
There can be times where the API is suffering or the program is down for maintenance, and sometimes it does suffer a little with audio/video things between users, depending on a multitude of factors, but if you know all the tricks and use it a lot those can be circumvented. You can always guarantee if discord is having a fit on your end, it is for others as well, but it usually doesn't take long for the issue to fix itself.
An amazing approach to online community
Comments: Overall, this software is a great tool to keep your community alive and and also expand it easily if you desire.
Pros:
This software is amazing at keeping community together, engaged, and communicated.
Cons:
I always want this software bring a new tool where users can easily find the existing groups rather than looking for invitation links in somewhere else.

Best chatting app of all time
Comments: Marvelous if I may say.
Pros:
Discord helped me to to make serves for my friend; also I use it to speak to my bosses all the time. I use it daily actually; and without the nitro.
Cons:
The lovely emoticons for my beloved serves are only available when you buy the nitro.
My personal opinion after 3 years of use
Comments: The Discord stage is basically worried about the players, and hence it offers the player to connect every one of the stages he uses to the Discord stage. Interfacing various stages or game drivers to the Discord stage gives various benefits as indicated by the organization. Despite the fact that Discord is a stage pointed essentially at players, the sound quality And the video communicated through it is extraordinary, and you can likewise have the number you need to talk with practically no limitations, and this makes it a reasonable stage for business discussions, however the application wouldn't fret or bring on any issue assuming you choose to utilize it in gatherings
Pros:
I preferred the inward look, the symbols, the manner in which it was customized, and the speed of reaction. Disunity I loved that it doesn't crash during use However, the application is totally free contrasted with Teamspeak, which has paid designs to convey Maya Internet IP address for clients, security from DDoS assaults The capacity to make servers and permit admittance to explicit devices for explicit individuals inside the server , The chance of making and sorting out channels inside the server is limitless The application likewise permits game engineers to make their own servers from which to make and join multiplayer games and gatherings of players and assist with giving a review design inside the actual server. There is a particular arrangement of believed servers that right now support this and this help will be extended later on The Discord application didn't stop at offering its types of assistance to players just, however stepped up to the plate and gave admittance to engineers and proprietors of utilizations and games to help the voice calling administration dependent on Discord. Up to this point, the Discord application permits signing in to great many applications and destinations, and supports showing game data through locales or applications.
Cons:
The explanation I try to avoid Discord is the helpless security of the application. The voice talk application, Discord, is presented to numerous malware, and albeit the stage is It is for the most part utilized by gamers, however this time the new malware issue is focusing unavailable clients and this isn't the initial occasion when a correspondence application has been uncovered Discord has been connected to a security issue, with various reports arising since its dispatch showing that the visit administration stage is progressively being manhandled, among them Infection with a hazardous Trojan, which designated clients last April, to take their passwords and afterward spread this equivalent malware to the casualties' companions consequently. The infection, which circled by means of the application stage to attempt to fool clients into downloading the XMRig cryptominer malware

Community Group Chat using Discord
Pros:
Discord is one of the best messaging apps that we can use, especially for groups / communities since it has a feature named server. We can customize so many things inside it for free
Cons:
One thing that Discord could improve is the story feature or timeline like Facebook. It would be great

Daily user review
Comments: I like it a lot. Everytime I can I build my community there.
Pros:
I like the comunity aspect of it. It's very grateful to have your team in one place and make it all work by roles.
Cons:
I sometimes find it difficult to set up and know what permission oes exactly. The app on iphone is very confusing.
Discord to communicate and enjoy.
Comments: Is it really positive, also, you can not find nowadays softwares that works this way for free and with such a friendly UX/IU.
Pros:
The main things that better works this software works perfectly, so as far as I am able to review, these features (voice chatting, screen sharing, etc.) have no failures or mistakes. Furthermore you can also make use of the premium mode, that improve theses functions.
Cons:
There are little things that I might not like about Discord, there could be some undesired bugs, but these are minor things that should not really be taken into account.
Good software gone bad
Comments:
Discord essentially stole the idea of "Skype" and "Slack" and put them together, delivering a gamer-centric VOIP solution and, later, a wonderful siloed social platform.
however as it burns through money Discord resorted to push "Nitro" which brough value by pay-walling otherwise freely avilable functionality in other platforms (screen sharing, streaming, emojis, etc). leading to a poor experience and slowed performance to the average user.
An alternative "Guilded.gg" does the same job better and is here to stay as they are owned and operated by Roblox Inc.
Pros:
It is the world's most popular consumer messenger It is fast, cross-platform, and reasonably secure
Cons:
- No customer protection against doxxing, harassment, or financial fraud. - Corporation is biased to leftist agenda and will engage in political election interference.
Discord The Community Voice of the Internet
Comments: Discord has for many years proven to be one of the most beloved audio communication tools on the internet, being free and offering good response from the servers for real-time conversations. Let's face it, chatting with a friend or group of friends in real time makes everything more enjoyable. The tool also pleases in the integrations between different software, as well as in the text chat and notifications to users. The negative highlight is the quality of screen transmissions and video that still leaves much to be desired and can be improved.
Pros:
Excellent response quality of the servers that bring a real-time chat experience.Excellent compatibility with android smartphones, delivering the same quality we see on computers.Excellent response in chat communication, which makes group conversations and discussions more enjoyable. Excellent functionality for integrating users into groups.Support for integration with multiple platforms, enriching the amount of content that is found in a single channel and making it easy to share information or notifications from other platforms.
Cons:
Improve the video and broadcasting services that still leave a lot to be desired in quality.
One of the best chat app out there
Comments: My overall experience is really good, I think I will use Discord for a long time!
Pros:
I love the UX/UI and also all the features you can get for free. I've used it for almost 5 years both as a pure client and admin of two communities and I have to say I will choose it anytime. Easy to use and easy to integrate with bots that can help to make your server more enjoyable.
Cons:
Sometimes the video and audio quality is not the best at all but there are some plans that can give you better quality.
Discord is a decent Instant Messenger
Pros:
How instant the messaging is. Being able to make your own server and manage your community with decent enough tools.
Cons:
How paywalled some of the messaging and customization features are. A lot of it is stuck behind its highest tier subscription. No end to end encryption so Discord can read all messages you send and receive.
J.L. Discord Review
Comments: Discord is a community building platform that I've used over the years to connect with people from all over the world. They have a server for almost every genre imaginable where I felt welcomed all while being monitored by responsible individuals that safeguard users. The security system in place, an example of this is their 2 Factor Authentication, protects my account and all of its embedded content from cybercriminals and gives me an ease of mind knowing that I feel safe when logging in and using Discord.
Pros:
I was able to access PDF versions to CSEC and CAPE past papers for free to help me prepare for exams by joining a server dedicated to helping secondary students excel academically. The server provided students like myself who weren't financially stable to purchase the past papers on the official website.
Cons:
After using Discord regularly, the time period to verify yourself when requesting to join other servers is sometime painstaking especially when you need to urgently send a message or receive a file.
An amazing messaging platform
Pros:
Discord allows users to quickly connect, message, and video call each other. The customizability of servers and roles within the server allow for easy user management and organization. The video calls and screen sharing also make collaboration every easy.
Cons:
Discord Nitro and having to pay for certain features (larger images, higher quality screensharing, etc.) can be annoying at times, especially when they have pop-ups to try and get you to purchase it.
Good for consistent contact
Pros:
My entire clientele is on discord. Discord has become the primary mode of communication for my business, both internally and externally. Having one centralized software that does that is extremely useful.
Cons:
Some of the functionality of discord is buried. Accordingly, it may be slightly difficult to discover functions that may be beneficial to use.
Discord a gammers must
Pros:
Connections made with online gaming friends and the communities you can set up weither for streaming or not its a great must have software
Cons:
As far as lesst goes at most sometimes discords a tad buggy on pc and uses a fair amount of cpu and ram other then that no complaints
