> It was the most difficult platform to work with.  Had to keep repeating the steps the first few transfers and  then asking that I pay directly from the bank as a bill payment option.  This worked the first time after which they started asking for more banking information and wanting to log into the bank through their portal  which I found uncomfortable.  Last transfer went into a loop with Wise stating they have refunded the funds back to me which I did not get.  After all the hassle for over two weeks, I logged in to see what's with the funds and they have a notice there saying they have refunded the funds yet again\!  &#10;&#10;This issue is still going on with no idea where the funds are, hopefully not another few weeks before I see them in my bank.

> **Cons**: Lack of integrity and transparency.  i was sending money to family in another country  for costly medical expenses, over a period of 7 months. i had phone conversations with Wise about this, sent detailed info when they asked.         &#10;                                                                                                                       &#10;      Then out of no where after using the service for 7 months.  they froze my account and the recipient's.  after that they would not take phone calls. they refused to explain or provide any reason or evidence.  There is no question they are using falsehoods and simple innuendo, which  they are passing to financial institutions here and abroad with so called investigations which turns up no evidence of contravening  their terms of use, and acceptable practices.    &#10;if you want to be open to arbitrary, untrue, and irresponsible blackballing THESE ARE YOUR PEOPLE.

> BEWARE: Wise closed my account without notice after asking me to deposit funds to keep the application process going. They sent me an Interac e-transfer request which I used to deposit $3,000. Then they closed the account due to not meeting their community standards and kept my money. I have been fighting with them for a week trying to get the money back. Since they closed the account before returning my funds they have no record of anything and dealing with their customer support has been an absolute nightmare, have sent and received upwards of 20 emails back and forth and still don't have my funds returned. They require a bank statement showing the account name, a record of the transaction including account numbers and payment reference numbers etc. I have given them all this numerous times now but keep getting passed around and then asked for the same things again. It's an absolute drain of my time and energy. My banking institution where the funds were deposited informed me that the reference number I gave them should be the only thing they need to reverse the deposit. This has been an excruciating process that I still don't have a resolution to after 6 days and over 20 emails back and forth with their support. This should be a simple resolution. Firstly, they should not accept money from me until my account is fully approved. Secondly, they should have returned the funds before closing the account. Lastly, according to my bank, and Interac that I have spoken to, they should only require the payment reference number to reverse the transaction, especially since they initiated the closure and their policy states that they will return the funds. This has been a horrible experience and I would never recommend Wise to anyone in Canada. I don't think their agents even understand the payment systems they use.
